Happy Litha/ Summer Solstice/Whatever you Call it to all my fellow Wiccans, Pagans, Witches and so on and so forth! Brightest Blessings to you and yours on this wonderful day! Go out and enjoy the sun!!

Thanks to Llewellyn Publishing for allowing me to read this copy in exchange for an honest review.

I have to admit I'm hugely impressed. When I first saw this book I was struck. I had always, like so many others, linked Goddess with Lunar energies and God with Solar energies. This book allows you to tap into the solar energies and link them with the ultimate divine feminine energy that I refer to as Goddess.

I was a bit nervous, thinking that I was going to have to read about and learn a whole new set of correspondences, but interestingly enough a lot of the correspondence stands. Mirrors for instance are linked with solar goddesses and I've used them during lunar feminine rites and rituals. I find it amazing how I never thought to shift corresponding objects with the Goddess to Solar or Lunar. I believe this is just one way to show that the God and Goddess are in everything and nothing at once. They are light and dark, neither more right or wrong than the other.

This book is wonderful for those of you who would like to utilize the Sun and the Sun's energies with the loving touch of the Goddess. Be mindful that the Goddess can too be a warrior. Gendered sterotypes don't apply to the God and Goddess in my experience, but the need to link feminine with Lunar energies has made us forget that more fiery aspect of Her.

This book is chock full of correspondences, meditations, lore and myths, ritual ideas and great information overall. I highly recommend it for anyone who wishes to learn more about the Goddess' solar energies and this book makes it easy to jump right in to start honoring Her!

5 triquetras for this wonderful book.
I recommend this for Pagans and non-Pagans alike. Even thought this has ritual ideas in it, it's not necessary to complete them. This isn't a spell book, but rather a take on solar Goddess energy that just happens to have some rituals and things placed throughout. Go grab a copy today!

What a wonderful book on solar goddesses. As part of my tradition, we honor a goddess during every moon cycle. This book has many goddesses I have honored and several that are new to me. The book is divided into three parts.

Part 1: The Sun and the Divine Feminine
Part 2: The Sun Goddesses
Part 3: Modern Sun Worship

It is nice to see such a collection of stories from different cultures and traditions. The author suggests using a journal while working with each goddess and I agree. There are exercises for pathworking along with spells and rituals. Today more than ever, it is important to connect with our divine feminine. This book makes that easy for you to do. If you are looking for information on solar goddesses, this is an excellent book.

Informative

I have already read her two other books so I wasn't surprised that I would love this one. It opens the door for new thinking and New ways to look at the sun as not only make but also female. You won't be disappointed. It is a great buy.

This book came at a great time in my life when I was contemplating the same idea. The bibliography proved quite helpful with so many references to other works to explore the solar feminine. A wonderful introduction covering the exploration of mythology in the West that led to such a fixation of the feminine and the Moon, moving into a broader understanding. The book covers several pantheons, geographic regions, and multiple aspects when there are several known sun goddesses. Along with a brief history of each deity, the author includes a visualization, symbolism, rituals inspired by the tales, and recipes for incense, and oils.
She concludes with exercises to bring the solar feminine into greater consciousness, with daily rituals and ideas. From here, I want to explore this subject further using her bibliography.

Disclaimer: This ARC was given to me for free in exchange for an honest review from Netgalley.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I have been doing lots of shadow work in the last couple of years, so it would be nice to work on the more lighter aspects of my path in the future.

It has a small amount of solar goddesses to work with, but the ones that are there are the most popular.
