My worst fear has to come to pass, and now Stephan knows about my terrible secret. He hates me with every fiber of his being, and I can’t blame him for it. Unfortunately, war has come, and we have to put our issues aside to fight the greatest evil that has befallen our world. Chaos will stop at nothing until he has destroyed everything we hold dear. Can Stephan and I work together without tearing each other apart, or will the end of the world mend what I thought was irreparable damage?
Ok twist on what happened as 2 battles happened on the island. And twist with nova!! I did enjoy Andy’s story, it got dark and looks like dark is staying……
Although it was the shortest of the series, this book did a good job of bringing closure to the conflict. Some things, like Nathaniel, felt like an easy fix, but it did wrap up the story. Definite HEA for the heroine, fast as it all happened.
Savage Games is the conclusion of Stephan and Andromeda’s story! Some of this story links in with Gifted Academy and I highly recommend reading those books first!
Back to Andy and Stephan though because these two are just utterly amazing! Andy is a strong independent female trying to fit into the world she was born in! When her truths were revealed in the last book things didn’t end well for her abs Stephan and some awful twists bring them together again and major decisions will have to be made because every choice is life or death!
I am a huge fan of Andromeda but Stephan really stepped up in book two and he turned out to be a very strong and determined man who loves fiercely and isn’t going to let anything harm those he loves! He really shows just how trustworthy he is and had me swooning like no other!
I couldn’t picture a better ending for these two and I hope there’s more because I really love this world and the people in it!
The perfect conclusion to Andy and Stephan's story.
Andy immediately intrigued me when she made her first appearance in the Gifted Academy Series. There was just "something" about her character, and Michelle Hercules did not disappoint. Andy is fierce and vulnerable, and her relationship with Stephan had me swoon. I'm in awe of the world Michelle creates and how everything weaves so perfectly together.
Not wanting to give spoilers, Savage Games had everything I needed in a book right now. Oh, and the ending! I cannot wait for what Michelle has in store for us next.
What an ending! I did not see any of that coming. I loved getting their story and seeing the other parts of that big battle. I can’t wait to see what happens next in this world!
Superpowers nd Demi Gods/Enemies to Lovers/Multi PoV
SYNOPSIS (of Duet): This story is a duet covered in Books 5 & 6 of the Idols series. Whilst it relates to a different couple (Andromeda & Stephan) it is set in the same world as the Books 1-4 and covers the same period of time as those. Andy is a powerful Idol who was born blind but with the use of her “chains” (which are an extension of her and can be visible or invisible) she is able to sense her surroundings and does not allow her blindness to limit her. When she was young she made the mistake of binding herself to a Demi God who was part of the Neo Gods organisation and who forces her to do his bidding. Andy has been homeschooled and kept secluded. She meets Stephan, a member of the Knights rebel group, and with his help is allowed to start school. The story arc covers Andy’s growth now she is away from her parents, the continued fight against the Neo Gods, her falling for Stephan and her understanding her heritage. There’s a HEA
Heat Level: 🌶️🌶️/🍆🍆. There are a few hot scenes which are well written and have a good amount of spice but these are minimal and this duet is a relatively slow burn from that perspective.
There is a lot of repetition in this duet if you have read the first 4 Books. Yes it is told from Andy & Stephan’s perspective but in terms of the general events, there is a lot of duplication. As a result I skipped over parts of the story. Essentially the duet fills in the gaps as to what was happening to Andy & Stephan as they cropped up in Books 1-4. I felt that it was a bit lazy of the author.
The general story is OK and there is action to keep it moving along with some limited angst and drama with some violent scenes (although not particularly graphic). I felt this duet could have been so much better but, as mentioned, instead of the author making this truly a story about Andy & Stephan there was just too much of the original story included. It made it boring as I knew what was going to happen. 🥱 It’s a shame as Andy was truly kick ass and so cool.
There is limited background development and the MC/FC’s relationship develops quickly but then becomes very on/off. The character development was also limited and whilst the author introduced elements in an attempt to give depth (such as the death of Stephan’s mother & sister and his guilt) these were never really fleshed out. In fact, just as with Books 1-4, I felt frustrated that the author didn’t provide the growth and substance to make this Duet something other than a superficial romp.
The introduction of Nicholas in Book 4 creates a nasty individual but the author apparently decided to do a 180 in this duet with his character. It felt wrong and again, there was no explanation as to what it agenda was, why he was doing what he was doing or what Chaos’ issues were. So many gaps with just lazy writing and the author not even attempting to pull all the strings together or provide a coherent story. 😏
Again, as with Books 1-4 the author goes off in the final part of the Duet into the realms of gods and demi gods with no real explanation as to why. At least with the Daisy storyline there was a vague reason for Chaos’ involvement but with this duet there was no explanation as to why Andy was dragged in or what the issue was and the ending, for me, was just more of the ridiculous same from Book 4. As for the epilogue, it was clearly setting up a further story line (which I won’t be reading) but with no clarity as to what happened. I mean, the author just implies that after what happens on the island everything is good and everyone goes back to their day job – what’s that about? 😖
In summary, whilst Books 1-4 are enjoyable if you can overlook the gaps and the climax, this Duet is a waste of time. Such a shame because the FC & MC could have been great. 😤
This conclusion was perfect!! ALL THE FEELS!!! I Loved everything!!!! The angst and betrayal was real but so worth it!! Super swoony when they made up!! I miss Andromeda aka Andy snarky comments and Stephan swoony confessions but i have to say Soren aka annoying brother stole my heart 😂 It was literally chaos all around, action and crazy stuff happening and yet Michelle made it possible to make you laugh your ass off in between!! I kid you not, Soren, Andy, Leroy and Britt had me dying laughing! their bickering and insults were on point! I really really hope for Soren to get a book or even a novella! Only because he did swear he hopes to never ever ever fall in love 🤣 and for that reason michelle needs to make it happen 🤣
I can see there being more to this group. So much happened and so much can still happen! I absolutely loved the way the characters came together and developed through the story. It was fascinating to see the story from the other perspective of Stephan and Andy. Nathaniel becomes more compassionate with his daughter and son in law. I’m so glad they got married in the middle and we didn’t have to wait for that. Perfect or not, I’d like to think love would take priority in troubling times like that. It spoke to the hopeless romantic in my heart. This is a must read!
What a weird way to end a series. Alot of jumping around. Alot of weird trips to nowhere to do who knows what that doesn't really add to the outcome of the story. Brittany fell in a hole and was saved, but how did that add to the story? Stephan and Andromeda adopt her great-grandfather's daughter, after Andy's Dad and Chaos were apparently killed, in the last page or two of the book? Just a weird last book all round.
I was actually hoping for the story to continue PAST where the other series ended, but noooo apparently that was too much to ask for.
This book was far too short for it's own good, like the author was like "oh I guess I have to finish this story," then wrote the bare minimum to have it over with. And with an ending like that, I am beyond disappointed to see an ending to this world. Gah.
I enjoyed this more than book one and really adored the ending! While this was still the same story line following the OG series it felt like Andy and Step’s own story. Not just the same story regurgitated from a different pov. It was exciting and action packed while still being swoony!
Read:🎧 MMC: Stephan Silverstone FMC: Andromeda Belfor Spice: 1🌶️ Tropes: Enemies to Lovers to Enemies, Mentor/Student, Virgin h, Forced Proximity, Magical Academy
I really enjoyed this series and the multiple points of view and how you got both Daisy's side in her books and Andy's books in her books. I strongly suggest reading them in order.
I want to know what happens next with Nova. Will Soren find love? Is Loren okay?
Maybe there will be another series related to this.
I honestly really liked their relationship in the Gifted Academy series. There were a lot of revelations in this book that really shocked me. In this book too, I've grown to love Nathaniel but... why did it have to happen? The ending is actually good too. Just sad that Nathaniel didn't really have at least a last good conversation with his daughter.
This was such a good book. It was a fast paced, drama filled read. It has some awesome characters. I’m not very happy with the ending. While the main couple got their HEA, some of the characters were left behind. No clue what happened to them, plus the new character at then end.
I liked this series although with this duet at the end, I feel like Amazon has them out of order. Since book 5 takes place after events in book 3, I read that first and then skipped to book 6 and then book 4. Others may not feel this way but that’s how I did it. The books have good story building, decent character building and a good premise.
I unfortunately did not enjoy this book much. I love most of the series, but this book fell short. It was pretty choppy and didn’t explain events well while also focusing to much detail on irrelevant things. I was disappointed. Had this been the first book, I would have no read any others.
The first book of Andromeda and Stephan’s story I liked more. This second one just felt to much like the other books and I already read that and it felt to much the same.
I love the conclusion to the Idols in Andromeda and Stephans story. Learning more about each charchter and who they must fight to balance out their world. This series will keep you reading.
I really enjoyed this series and this last book was a perfect way to tie all the characters in to this finish the story. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stephen and Andy’s romance ended with some spice 🌶🌶🌶 and a good HEA.
I really have enjoyed every book in this series, having Andy & Stephan story concluded (or is it) seeing how their story played out in the series, definitely fills in some gaps.
