Will Parker's past come back to haunt him? Can Parker save Chloe?
Regina Frame lives in Alabama with her husband and two dogs. She started her writing journey early 2013 when she published The Beaumont Trilogy. Since then she has published the first book in her rock star series, A Dirty Affliction which released in 2014. She fell in love with the bad boy rockers and released four more books in the series. Rock music is her passion. She loves losing herself in the beat and the stories of her characters.
Now, it might be just me but this book went a little too fast for my tastes. Chloe, who grew up poor has her best friend Lexie who grew up with money but it never mattered to her and she and Chloe are besties... Deciding to move to New York together, Lexie introduces Chloe to her boyfriend Gibb. Gibb invites the ladies to a club he is a security enforcer at, and apparently he has a friend he wants Chloe to meet. Parker is the playboy who has only ever had one night stands and never wants to have more due to his fear of being used and/or getting hurt... Parker and Chloe meet and instant love happens... suddenly(and I do mean suddenly... within 10minutes of meeting one another) Parker is wondering what it would be like to wake up next to Chloe every morning and having a desire for a future and so on... It came across too much like Cinderella meets Playboy to me... Now, I do understand that this is a novella and it is meant to be short, but it could have been slowed down a bit and developed more. The sex scenes were even rushed.. This story has great potential and the overall plot is very intriguing.. I just think that the author should have slowed down a bit.
One issue I had was inconsistency. There is a scene where Chloe was being interviewed for a chain store named Baby Bee. The CEO interviews her..yes, CEO of a major Chain baby store was interviewing the prospective employee. When Chloe recognizes this man as the CEO, she identifies him as "Denver Townsend" Now, Chloe's last name is Mason... However, Denver calls Chloe "Miss Mason in one sentence and then just a few sentences later calls her Miss Townsend. This is not a major mistake, but is definitely something any quality editor should have caught and it was rather confusing.
All in all, Chloe is a very empowering young woman and strong minded, and Parker captures her spirit and heart. All in all, if you're looking for a quick book with some steamy scenes then this is a book for you!!
I give this book 3 out of 5 shields!!

This was given to me by Author Groupies in exchange for an honest review
It started off with a "princess and the pauper" feel Lexie being the princess and Chloe the pauper.I just love the way they see each others hearts and not material value♥
Lexie and Chloe decided that once they graduate they would move to New York. Lexie was already there for a while before Chloe arrived. On Chloe's first night in New York Lexie takes her to an exclusive club where she nearly takes a nose dive on her killer heels, fortunately her fall is broken by a delicious speciMAN named Parker and already you can feel the chemistry between them .
Parker has a genuine interest in Chloe but she's nervous due to his wealth but Parker comes across as someone who doesn't give up easily, I'm sure he'll persist and she'll realises that he wants her for who she is and for how she makes him feel as a man.
Already on their first date you can see his interests in Chloe is more than physical and I'm already weak at my knees for Parker ♥
Parker and Chloe fit together beautifully but as is life they hit a little bump but they get over it quick enough to pick up where they left off. They've really fallen hard for each other ♥
The "little bump" in their relationship becomes a nine month bump :O poor Chloe is left shattered! She's off to nurse her broken heart, find a job and carry on with life. She has an uncomfortable encounter with a waiter which turns into a nightmare. He kidnaps her and it turns out the "9 month bump" in her relationship with Parker was a lie! One of Parker's past conquests wanted him for his money so she and her brother devise a plan to "trap" Parker. So when he falls in love with Chloe they have to eliminate her! Parker and his best friend, Gibb, come to her rescue! Chloe is safe and back in Parker's arms where she belongs!
Parker and Chloe have their happy ever after ♥ I want to know what happens to Lexie and Gibb!
I just finished Saving Chloe and I liked it. It's one of those stories that you either like it or you don't. Chloe's moved in with her friend Lexie. Chloe grew up poor and was in foster homes but was able to meet Lexie and become best friends. She has money and sometime Chloe is uncomfortable about but still loved her to pieces. After moving in with her she meets Parker. Parker is rich but very down to earth but has some baggage from his past that will not let him go. What will Chloe do when she finds out about Parker's secret? You will have to read and see.....
I liked the story and I thought it flowed really well but there were a few things for me that didn't mesh well.
The whole fall in love in a couple days thing. It's not me. Didn't it take away from the story? A little but it still enjoyed it.
Another thing is jumping to conclusions. I'm all for conflict. You gotta have that in the story but this was just a little bit much for me. Did it take away from the story, yes but I still liked it.
What I did like was Parker. He was sexy and hot and he wanted her. What's not to love about a man that takes what he wants? I like Chloe too even though to be she did act a little childish. The chemistry between them two was hot and they definitely burned the pages.
If you are looking for a quick sexy, try this one. I liked it!
If you are looking for that quick sexy read that will keep you warm on those cold nights, then this is definitely one you should pick up. The writing style is fab, reading it was effortless and easy. The characters played their parts to keep you gripped. This is the first book I have read done by Regina Frame.
We start off with Chloe who has just moved to New York to move in with her best friend. On Chloe’s first night in New York her best friend takes her to hip club, were a stranger asks Chloe to dance. And it all starts from there.
Parker is a hot rich and owns the hottest club in New York, but after having a crap childhood made Parker use women to get what he want’s, till he sees Chloe.
Parker's Past
Wow this is a super fast read. This book gives us a glance of the past and shows us why Parker is so screwed up and doesn't let anyone get close to him. The only thing he want from a woman is to get himself off and show them the door after.
I really enjoy Regina written, it was great to find out how things went down for Parker, I was great that most of the book was written in his POV.
Chloe meets Parker after to moving in NYC with her best friend after college. She had a rough childhood, going to foster home after foster home after the death of her mother. She didn't have much, but what she did have, she worked for. She doesn't like being around rich people because they make her feel uncomfortable because he didn't have money growing up, however, there is an exception: her best friend Lexie. What Chloe didn't plan on was falling for a one sexy, hot, and rich investment broker Parker Beaumont.
Parker Beaumont only has no strings attached sex. His mother left him when he was younger and assumes the same for all women. Except Chloe. The first time he saw her he knew she was the one, but Parker's Past keeps her on the run... Running right into unexpected trouble...
This is the 1st instalment in the Beaumont Trilogy. This is a short novella and I was able to read it in one sitting. Chloe moves to NYC to live with her best friend Lexie….. On her first night in NYC…. She bumps in to Parker. Parker is a HOT Sculpted piece of arse….. Both Chloe and Parker come from broken childhoods…. Their chemistry is sizzling and their story together isn’t an easy path and is highly emotional. I don’t want to give any spoilers away so I’ll keep my review brief but this book is full of panty melting sex…. Do Chloe and Parker find their HEA??? Can they help each other heal??? Only time will tell……. I really enjoyed this story… it is short and fast paced and keeps you turning the page…. Only let down for me was that it is so short …. I would of loved the story to be full to the brim with details of both Chloe and Parker’s past and also seen more of their time together…. I’m hoping the next two books give me that…..
Chloe just moved to NYC to live with her best friend from school. She hasn’t had an easy life. Her parents died when she was a young child and she was shuffled through the foster care system afterwards. Everything she has ever had she has had to work her butt off for. This has left her with a bitter taste in her mouth towards rich people. With one exception, Lexie, her best friend. They met and hit it off before Chloe know how rich Lexie was. Now that she is in NYC she meets Parker, he is a friend of Lexie’s boyfriend and he is extremely rich. Parker does not have relationships. He only has meaningless sex. His mother left his family when he was younger and it has left him distrustful of love. When the 2 of them meet will they both be able to get over their hangups? This is a fun little novella. If you are looking for a short & sweet read this is a good bet.
This novella is a fun, quick and sexy read. I don't usually like novellas that are an entire story because I don't get the character development that I love and things always feel rushed and unresolved. That being said, I enjoyed Parker and Chloe's whirlwind romance. They meet and are immediately attracted to each other. Neither are looking for a relationship, Chloe was cheated on and Parker only has one-night stands. But after one date, they're in love and ready to give each other a chance.
Of course there is some drama along the way. And some ver, very hot sex. There were some loose ends that need to be tied up, but this is a series so I hope it will all come together in the next installments.
I'm confused, this book contradicts the information in Parker's Past, and even in this book. At one point his mother left when he was five and then pages later she left when he was seven. In Parker's Past Lexie and Gibb are split up, but no mention of it here.
In 70 pages you've got a full books worth of action in an incredibly short time line, it's just not feasible.
I'm sorry but this story and the companion novella just didn't work for me.
ugh. was very disappointed. writing was poor. the author had great characters but very little character development. sex scenes could also have been more developed. this had the potential to be an amazing story but completely fell flat.
I loved loved loved Chloe and Parker. This is a quick read with lots of angst and emotion. Cannot wait for the next book and to see what happens to their story.
A short romantic story that can be read in just one sitting. I enjoyed reading this book but I felt the story ended and flowed a little bit fast, but I love the chemistry between Chloe and Parker! ♡
