Nikki should have known that In a club full of women, anything is bound to pop off. So when she and her best friend Jazz, decides to spend Nikki's 30th birthday at Lady Swagger- A known lesbian hotspot, she catches her girlfriend Dream, dead in the act of cheating. Bent on revenge, Nikki waits for the perfect opportunity to confront Dream, but little does she know, Dream's bite is much more lethal than her bark. A parking lot brawl triggers a chain of events and someone ends up with a body on their hand.

I enjoyed this book. A fight scene made the story grab your attention from the beginning. Nikki sees her lesbian lover, Dream, at a club with another woman and all hell breaks out. Jazz, Nikki's straight friend, is taking care of a man on lock down. Nikki's sleeping with the enemy.

All the drama needed to keep this short story interesting. I can't wait for part 2.

This book was unlike any I have read and truly caught me by surprise. It touches upon a woman named Nikki who finds herself in an abusive relationship. When Nikki decides to give her lover, Dream, a taste of her own medicine...things take a dangerous turn. This is a page turner and I look forward to part 2.

4 stars. What the hell was that ending? I need more! This was a hot, toxic ass mess and I couldn't get enough. It's very much a soap opera and things unravel quickly and left me on the edge of my seat. I wasn't expecting anything that happened but I mean that in a good way. This was addictive as hell and I gotta get to part two soon.

Lady Swagger-The Beginning is a fast paced introduction into the lives of Nikki and Dream. Nikki decides to celebrate her birthday at club Lady Swagger and after catching her lover, Dream, with another woman the drama in the parking lot quickly escalate. The night for Nikki doesn't end all to bad because is still able to celebrate and achieve a high that has nothing to do with alcohol.

Dream has major issues and she can't stand to see Nikki with anyone else. Nikki is hers and she will do whatever it takes to make sure that no one else gets her Nikki.

A lot happens when these few pages and you will not have a dull moment. There is a fight, a love scene, confessions and death...and this is just The Beginning.

A lesbian e-short: An absolute must read...Girl on girl drama at it's best...Nikki is in a relationship with a controlling female stud name Dream. Their relationship is very rocky with the constant abuse and jealous rage Nikki suffers at the hand of her girlfriend but also the bi-polar disorders that Dream suffers with. One night at the club ends with a BANG and one persons life end tragically. I am definitely looking forward to part 2~ This one left me wanting more...

This is a good read, the author had a great sense of depth with how she developed the characters... I thought that she was able to move in and out of each situation smoothly and comfortably. At times, I thought that I knew where she was going, however, I was surprised at each turn... good read, can't wait for Lady Swagger 2...
