Jim had always had a thing for big girls. It took him a long time to find the perfect woman for him. Mia was the perfect woman. She was more than happy to eat and eat and eat, allowing herself to grow so big that she could no longer leave her house. The bigger she got, the more Jim loved her.
But now people want to take Mia away from him. They think he's abusing her. They think she's sick.
Well Jim isn't about to let that happen. Mia is his. He needs her, just as much as she needs him. Jim will do whatever it takes to keep Mia by his side...
Harrison Phillips is an English author of horror, sci-fi and fantasy. His literary influences range from Clive Barker and Stephen King, to Jack Ketchum and Edward Lee. He was born and raised in Birmingham, England, where he still resides with his long-suffering wife, their two daughters, and a schnauzer named Minnie.
This book is volatile and disgusting, in true Harrison Phillips fashion. I didn't know until I got Tik-Tok, figures, that Feeders were a thing and as gross as that sounds in real life, add that and more to this story. The feeding of the food is disgusting enough without the added cannibalism. This is a fun and disgusting short read that I am giving four disgusting stars!
If you are looking for a nasty, gore-filled & hugely entertaining short story to put you off your Sunday lunch, look no further! I bought FEEDER on Godless for less than 50p (it's on sale)! Head on over there now to pick up this brilliantly twisted horror tale. I loved the direction the author took with this story, and I look forward to reading more of his work.
"It all made sense to Jim. This was what he’d always wanted. It wasn’t Mia’s body he loved. It never had been. It was her appetite that he found so attractive. He needed a big woman with a big appetite who could consume him. The thought of being eaten gave him a feeling of intense pleasure."
Jim has found his perfect woman in Mia and has fed her until she's become housebound and completely reliant on him. He worships her body and is obsessed with watching her eat. He loves his life with her.. until her parents come looking for her, worried and horrified, they threaten to take Mia away from Jim, but he's willing to do anything to keep her all to himself..
This is one of the wildest novellas I've read. I love Harrison's attention to detail in his writing, and trust me, the details of Mia are not spared in this one 😅 we know I have a.. sensitive affliction to smells, and so this was a tough one for me 😂
It's descriptive, disgusting, and has gore and depravity throughout, just how I like it. I hated Jim but was fascinated by him and his obsession, which isn't actually what we think it is.. I really loved it.
Feeder is easily one of the best Splatterpunk stories I have read this year.
By Harrison Phillips, Feeder is a real Gilbert Grape story; an origin story even. It is a dirty, down right disgusting, demented love story of epic proportions. As erotic as it is foul, Feeder features 500 lb Mia and her enabler/feeder, Jim, and their life together is bliss. But what happens when their perfect life together is threatened, and how far will Jim go to ensure their relationship survives? And the end... OMG! It is shocking to say the least.
Phillips has a real knack for writing. His characters are believable, the story is engaging, and once you start reading this book, it is near impossible to put down. Feeder contains everything you could ask for in a Splatterpunk story. It is horrifically graphic, there is tons of nasty sex, and it is super fun. This is my first title by this author, and it definitely won't be my last!
Recommended for fans of Matt Shaw, Kevin Sweeny, Simon McHardy, the 1000-lb Sisters, and Good Eats.
Harrison Phillips can write some depraved stuff. Feeder is no different. Jim loves Mia, and Mia loves Jim. Jim likes/loves BBW women. The bigger the better. Mia will do anything for Jim. Isn't that what you're supposed to do when you're in love? Love is one helluva drug, and food can be too. How far is Jim willing to go to keep his Mia with him? Excellent short read.
