I read this novel years ago interested by the topic of Narcissus (cf. The metamorphoses, Ovid).
The literary style of the Spanish writer -Germán Sánchez- resulted elegant, enticing and classical.
As far as I remember the story was about a Spanish donjuan who dedicated all his intelligence and culture to seduce women and nymphs.
I enjoyed its reading.
