Okay so I know I shouldn’t judge a book meant for children who don’t care about plot, especially since I only read this because I like reading to my baby sister, but the plot was boring at best.
This book is about Flik, an ant who loves to come up with inventions. His inventions don't seem to be good for much and all of the other ants make fun of him because they think he is wasting his time. He finally comes up with an invention that helps the ants work faster and everyone thinks he's a hero. I liked this book. It can be used to teach perseverance to elementary level children.
This book was about an ant that is different than his group. He likes to invent things and think beyond what is the norm for them. His friends at first won't accept what he's doing but in the end they see that everything he's done has only to help them.
