About the author

René Goscinny (1926 - 1977) was a French author, editor and humorist, who is best known for the comic book Asterix , which he created with illustrator Albert Uderzo, and for his work on the comic series Lucky Luke with Morris (considered the series' golden age).

Историите на Никола си остават най-любимите ми истории за всички времена. Свободата да се върна отново в началните си години в училище и да се смея дори на глас с приключенията на Никола и приятелчетата му винаги ме е зареждала с нови сили. Тънките шеги, скрити в диалози и мисли, наивните детски мечти и родителски опасения са толкова истински, че няма как да не накарат всяка една човешка душа да се стопли. А защо пък и да не накарат някого да тръгне да попътува (само да не забрави варените яйца и бананите ;) )!

C'est un livre très utile pour les débutants de la langue française. On s'amuse bien avec les petites histoires de Nicolas et ses copains. Malheureusement, pour les lecteurs à l'âge adulte, je trouve qu'il n'y a rien de messages profond, et qu'ils sont tout simplement des histoires amusantes et légères.

This series of Le Petit Nicolas is great for taking a break between more challenging books. The vocabulary is simple, and the stories are self-contained, funny, and brief. The formula starts to get old after a while, but there are still a lot of good laughs, and maybe even some insight.

My favorites: En voiture!, Mots croisés, Les merveilles de la nature and Papa a des tas d'agonies.

Nice drawings, funny little stories, although little violent (un coup de poing there, une claque there), almost at the end of the series, but still not bored by it... 5/5.

Alceste en a eu un peu assez et il a demandé si on ne pouvait pas faire quelque chose de plus utile, comme cueillir des champignons, qui sont si bons dans les omelettes. M. Blédurt lui a dit qu'il fallait être très prudent avec les champignons, qu'il y en avait des dangereux qui pouvaient vous empoisonner. Alceste a commencé à ramasser des champignons, et, pour savoir s'ils étaient empoisonnés, il a trouvé un truc: il les goûtait.

И макар, че сме писали както за комиксите за Никола, така и за серията от малки книжки, адаптиращи епизоди от анимационния сериал, така и не сме отдали дължимото на основната поредица! Хвала на изд. „Колибри” и Венелин Пройков, благодарение на които вече можем да се насладим изцяло на купищата весели анекдоти, които ни помагат да видим и собственото си ежедневие под един далеч по-духовит и забавен ъгъл!

This is another timeless classic filled with warmth, love, laughter and mischief. I don't which one is more attractive: Nicolas's endless love for his mother or his deep devotion for mischief always filled with good intentions. A true wonder!

И това е поредната книга от поредицата "Малкият Никола". Отново много ми хареса. Няма и 1 книга, която да не ми харесва. Даже ще ми е малко тъжно като ги прочета всичките книги. Но ме чакат още много, много книги които съм сигурна, че ще са забавни.

Re-reading the Petit Nicolas books as an adult brings out a type of nostalgic comedy where I can't help but laugh at the simple logic we had as kids. Makes me miss those days a bit...
