Often referred to as "Space Cowboy" and "Gangsta of Love" while still striving for the moniker of "Maurice," Sean Michael spends his days surfing, smutting, organizing his immense gourd collection and fantasizing about one day retiring on a small secluded island peopled entirely by horseshoe crabs. While collecting vast amounts of vintage gay pulp novels and mood rings, Sean whiles away the hours between dropping the f-bomb and persuing the kama sutra by channeling the long lost spirit of John Wayne and singing along with the soundtrack to "Chicago."

A long-time writer of complicated haiku, currently Sean is attempting to learn the advanced arts of plate spinning and soap carving sex toys.

Barring any of that? He'll stick with writing his stories, thanks, and rubbing pretty bodies together to see if they spark.

I've always been partial to a good ghost story and I do have a bit of a thing for paranormal reality shows so I know all about orbs, EVP' s and EMF readers... EEEK! I'm a ghost geek! So this quirky tale about two opposing paranormal investigators pretty much ticked my boxes straight away. Having had a few unusual and unexplainable things happen to me and members of my family over the years I'm very much open minded to the spirit world and as much as sometimes I watch these programmes with some healthy scepticism ( some of the tales do have me rolling my eyes a bit ) I also find some of the occurrences quite fascinating and inexplicable and let's be honest we all like to be spooked a wee bit if we're honest! Ghost stories round the campfire and all that!

" OMG!!! Did you hear that? "

So I really enjoyed this foray into the world of ghost hunters and haunted Inns in the Deep South, with its lovely little spooky twist in the tail which you'll probably see coming but which when it's revealed still gives you a nice little shiver. Wooooooo ! Not so much a story that will frighten you to death but certainly one that might have you picking up your camera and gathering a group of mates to go investigate that creepy old house on the corner! Lol.

The opposites attract/ enemies to lovers themed romance is spine tingly sweet and the ghosts in that inn get a nice little hot " show and tell " from Mason and Fort... If you know what I mean!

Great story for the build up to Halloween ...... " Is there anybody there? "

The relationships between the three men in this book are quite interesting. It's a ménage that builds gradually, starting with Jai and Bay, two subs who are very attracted to each other and are both flexible enough to adapt to each other's needs. When Master Storm is added to the mix, it gets really interesting, since Bay is looking for a Dom, but Jai isn't. What follows is the story of three men with very different needs who discover they are much better off as a threesome, than as any combination of two they could come up with. In this case, the three of them together are truly more than the sum of their individual characters.

Bay is a bartender, pretty happy with life, and the only thing that could make it better would be a Dom to take him in hand. He's had his eye on Master Storm, a customer at the club he works, for a while, but cannot seem to catch the man's attention. Then he meets Jai, another sub, and falls in love just a little bit. When Master Storm finally seems interested after seeing the two of them kissing, Bay is happy but will put Jai and Jai's needs first. He knows Jai isn’t into the lifestyle, and he won’t cheat, so that limits his options, or so he thinks.

Jai is deliriously happy with Bay. He knows about BDSM in theory (he keeps mentioning the Internet), but he has never experienced any of this and he's more than a little scared. He also knows Bay is interested in Storm, and is willing to step back so the two of them can have a relationship. After all, he isn’t anything special or so he believes. When they start playing together Jai becomes curious, and some of the experiences Storm and Bay give him together blow his mind. But he can’t have both of them, can he?

Storm is fascinated by the two beautiful men together, and doesn’t even think twice about wanting them both. Bay may be more experienced, and needs a more determined master, but Jai's inexperience and softer character have definite appeal for Storm as well. He plays his hand very well, gradually introducing Jai to some new things while giving Bay exactly what he needs. Storm is flexible enough to take it slow; emotionally with both of them and in the BDSM area with Jai, to make sure they're both willing to follow where he will lead.

With very hot scenes, and clearly growing love, this is an entertaining story with some interesting psychology in the dynamics of this trio. If you like three-way relationships, if you enjoy reading about three very different men figuring out a way to relate to each other, and if you're looking for a story full of hot action between three men, as well as some hot one-on-ones, then you will probably like this novella.

You kind of know what you’re going to get when you read a book by Sean Michael. Sex. Lots of it. Well written sex, not just cheesy come-ons and up against the wall fucks. Though there were a few of those, they were well written. When I first started reading M/M, I wanted to learn all there was to know about gay sex. Books by authors like Sean were what I wanted to read. Then I got bored. I could only read the sex so much without wanting it to involve more. I wanted feelings, character backgrounds, dates, relationships. Plots.

Pour Me a Triple had no discernable plot. There were often paragraphs in between the sex scenes, but the were there strictly for the purpose of directing the mind to why the next sex scene was going to happen. Or how, or where. No actual story involved. This is the kind of book that people who don’t read M/M romance think we read. They think it’s all sex, all the time. Pour Me A Triple would not go very far in changing their minds.

In a nutshell, Bay is a bartender at The Bending Willow (creative name BTW), a BDSM bar. He has casually been looking for a Dom since he started working there, but an opportunity hasn’t presented itself. Jai moves into an apartment across the street and can tell by the clientele that it is a gay bar. How he doesn’t notice all the leather and leashes is beyond me. He wanders in one evening looking for a way to pass the night. Bay and Jai are immediately drawn together. The attraction is that mythological instant chemistry, complete with sparks. Though Jai knows nothing about the BDSM lifestyle to which Bay aspires, they wind up together anyway.

As soon a s Jai entered the bar for the first time, Bay wasn’t the only one to sit up and take notice. Master Storm did also. He had been watching Bay for a while, but approaching him hadn’t felt right. Suddenly, now that they are a couple, Bay and Jai are much more attractive to Master Storm. Evidently he wants bookends.

They proceed to do BDSM training for Dummies, and Jai is immediately into it as much as Bay and Master Storm. It just wasn’t plausible for me. Jai had never felt leanings toward, nor did he have any knowledge of BDSM relationships. A week later he is involved in a ménage BDSM relationship, being told when to come and accepting and doling out spankings.

The Three Stars are as laid out above. Sean Michael wrote a hell of a lot of sex scenes for this book. It is BDSM-lite, nothing approaching hardcore. This book would have benefited from a little less sex and a little more plot. A little less insta-love and a little more character development. For what it was, it was okay. It just wasn’t for me. Sean Michael has written some excellent books which include real in-depth character studies and exciting plot lines. I think I’ll stick with them in the future.

This is a cute little Halloween short. Nothing like some ghost hunting on Halloween. I've always been kind of a sceptic about ghost, but I love reading about them. And one ghost in particular in here just makes my day.
Mason and Fort are on opposite sides of the spectrum as far as ghosts are concerned. Mason used to believe but so many fakes in the world have left skeptical and cynical. And now his job is to debunk all the fakes. Fort, on the other hand, still believes, but understands where Mason is coming from. Fort just wishes Mason would stop making fun of him. But what Fort doesn't realize is Mason is trying to flirt with him. Both are misunderstanding the other and are interested in each other but can't get past the tension. With this live web show, they are able to talk a bit and clear the air, and the tension becomes a different kind. With sounds and beings around the house, Mason discovers he is wrong about a few things and just maybe he shouldn't be as cynical as he is.
Communication is definitely a key thing. And these two needed it in spades. Both are just so cute with their little quips and snarkiness. It's so obvious they are interested in each other. And it takes a 'little old lady’ to get through their heads. This is such a sweet story. Mason learns there's more to life than he thinks and Fort learns not to be so stuffy. It's so adorable the way they hang on to each other. The little touches and stuff. They had to behave a bit since it was a live web show they were filming lol. Although I think the audience wouldn't have minded. And they might have had a different kind of audience ;) . But it was good to see supposed enemies turn to each other and finally try to make things work. All they needed was to get on the same page.
I know this is more of a Halloween story, but it's one you can read anytime. Ghosts and chemistry and Sparks fill the air. It's a good little short to make your day.

Not my favorite of this author’s BDSM stories

Warning: This review might contain what some people consider SPOILERS.

Rating: 5/10

PROS:
- The mix of dynamics and personalities is amusing. Bay is like a puppy dog, Jai is willing yet cautious, and Storm is steady and confident. I liked how different the two submissive partners are, and I liked seeing how differently Storm treats the two.
- Jai’s concern for others is sweet, and I found it endearing that he kept offering to go away so Bay could have Storm to himself. (Naturally, I also liked that neither Bay nor Storm took Jai up on his many offers.)

CONS:
- I didn’t feel the connection between the characters in this story like I do in so many of Michael’s BDSM works. Bay is so eager that he seemed less specifically interested in Jai and Storm and more broadly interested in whoever-would-have-sex-with-him, and Storm came off as a bit cold to me, possibly because there aren’t too many scenes from his perspective.
- I think the author might have the world of this story slightly mixed up with the world of his Hammer stories. I don’t know of many bars that serve lobster and filet mignon (as the bar in this story is supposed to), especially not ones that have such a down-to-earth feeling about them. Such luxuries are more at home in the Hammer club, with its sky-high membership fees and well-to-do client list.

Overall comments: I didn’t hate this, but I didn’t love it either. Part of me appreciated the restraint when the guys first meet--that is, that they don’t all have an immediate connection and jump into bed three minutes later, as often happens in this author’s books. The early interactions here are more realistic, but they’re also lacking the magic of some other Michael stories. Caution may be realistic, but it’s also a bit…I don’t know. Boring.

2.5 stars I liked the first half of this story better than the second. The set-up was cute and we got to know a little about Mason's history which was sweet . The beginnings of their hunt at the old plantation was fun and a smidge spooky, but honestly where it lost me was their relationship and interactions. Once they ackowledged their feelings the dialogue got soooo cheesy. A couple example for ya:

"Then com over here, Dr. Fortenberry, and let's see if you kiss as sweetly as you talk." UHG, gag me!

"Why, doctor, I do believe you've got the cure for what ails me..." this line given before a blow job.

And there's way more where that came from. So if they had continued the story as it had been going and it had ended on a hopeful note, I think it would have been great. But despite it only being 51 pages, I ended up skipping the sex scene (aka: cheesy-line-fest) and then skimmed most of the rest of it too

Undecided on 2.5 or 3. Enjoyable but the characters didn't really mesh for me, I couldn't really see why they were together. There was a glimmer at the beginning with Bay and Jai but then we moved directly into sex and dove right on into the bdsm. Either a longer story, or less sex so there was more room for story and a more gradual easing of Jai into bdsm would have made this a better story for me. Also, something I find very frustrating about reading Sean Michael's stuff, while I generally enjoy the books, I also feel the need to go read something epic afterwards, something with full sentences. I swear sometimes I feel like my brain is regressing because the little words are left out. We get nouns and verbs and adjectives, but nothing to join them. My brain starts to shrivel and curl in on itself to avoid touching the glopping ooze spreading towards it... Or something. Either it isn't in all Michael's stories or just not as noticeable, otherwise I would keep picking them up and torturing myself.

A bit disappointing. I was hoping for more on the ghost hunting front, especially as these two were supposed to live streaming over the internet at the time. On the other hand, a lot of nothing usually does happen on a typical ghost hunt, so maybe it's just as well the author didn't spend much time on that part of the plot. Still, it felt curiously underdeveloped.

The relationship, for all that these two MCs have been acquaintances for the past several years, moves too fast (in the space of a few hours, in fact) - to the point that it comes across more as insta-lu-er-love than anything else.

I enjoy watching Ghost Adventures (I admit I was hoping one of the characters in this book would use Zak's "Did Someone Just Scratch Me?" line) so this was a great little read for me. I loved the slow build-up of the sexual tension and all the subtle touches and caresses between Mason and Fort while their investigation was streaming live to a viewing audience. Too bad they remembered turn off ALL of the cameras before they got busy afterwards though ;)

It's near Halloween and what better book to pick up than an MM romance set in a haunted house? This is just the right thing to do especially after getting to have to watch The Conjuring with the kids. I thought, why not extend it all the way to the books I read? However, instead of the usual romance, I went for a haunting.

Ghost Of A Chance is a haunting read. It literally reads like the Ghost Hunters series we love to watch, its like having a not-too-scary Warren Files in your hands sans Annabelle. It has all the usual suspects of ghostly screams in the middle of the night complete with lightning and thunder reflecting a ghostly apparition. It helped set the scene when, of course, we had to have a storm last night and a cat screamed outside. Yeah, scared me good.

This was a great light-but-scary read. Especially when reading of Miss Violet. That sent chills down my spine and my hair to stand up. The romance between the two men, Mason and Fort, was, of course, a given and the way they teased-romanced their way into each others' affections was cheesy at best, too.

What set me to drop a star? End.

Yes, End. It was too abrupt! I really expected more out of this. I want more, like an added chapter or two. Other than that abruptness, this is a great light read - if you are one who likes to dream of haunted screams and crying ghostly images! Way to bring in the coming haunting holiday!

2.5 stars Review coming soon from The Blog of Sid Love.

If you are new to M/M BDSM, you will most likely find this quite enjoyable. Bay is a bartender at a gay BDSM bar. Jai goes to the bar, not realizing that’s what it is, but he hits it off with Bay, who hasn’t really experienced much but definitely has the desire to do so. The two begin dating, even though Jai is clearly not able to be what Bay is looking for. He seems willing to give that up though for the opportunity to be with Jai. These two were extremely sweet together.

Then Master Storm notices the couple. He has apparently been keeping an eye on Bay but only becomes interested when seeing him with Jai. They go to dinner where Master Storm immediately takes charge, encouraging them to play with him for the rest of the evening. Things heat up quickly, and there are some pretty hot scenes.

What didn’t work for me was how fast everything happens with these guys. Insta-trust, insta-love, insta-just about everything is prevalent here. Bay was eager to experience the lifestyle, and Jai remained somewhat apprehensive. I did like how neither pushed Jai to do anything or even stick to protocol with the Master and Sir.

Again, those looking for a sweet, fast, taste of BDSM with a side of romance, will probably really enjoy this.

Mason and Fort are both in to the supernatural. Mason tries to prove there's no ghosts and there's a scientific reason for the bump in the night moments and Fort tries to prove there is ghosts and that's what the bump in the night moments are. Both men are attracted to each other but think the other one isn't. Mason and Fort get the opportunity to spend the night alone at a B&B that's reputed to be haunted. While setting up their equipment the men lightly flirt back and forth and realize that they are both attracted to each other and there's definitely chemistry. During the night there's paranormal activity but it is missed on their equipment. That doesn't bother them since they know what they saw and heard. They also have time for a little sexual activity and they can't wait for more.

This was a short paranormal with a little romance thrown in. I would have liked for it to be longer as I really enjoyed the story and the chemistry between Mason and Fort. The epilogue is too short but does give a little story of where the guys are a year down the line. Great read for a couple of hours.

Wow... OMG.. LOVED this book. Mason and Fort are incredible characters in this story.. Mason had heard ghost stories since he was a young child. Now he's 32 and involved with a group of ghost hunters investigators. He's a non-believer of the psychic world and loves to debunk any suspicions sightings.
Dr Haywood Fortenberry is a true believer but personally hadn't seen anything himself. Fort is with another group which revivals Mason's group. Since he was a professor he often gave speeches, but if he knows Mason is in attendance he knows he's in for a haggling from the gorgeous man. An opportunity arises where both Mason and Fort investigate Wisteria Grove House which is reported to have numerous attendance of them. Halloween Night may seen a brilliant idea to host a live tv ghost hunt showing. This is a an awesome book I loved the twisted ending I'd had loved to see Mason's and Fort faces. lol Highly recommended I love to give this a 10 star..

I really enjoy short stories that are well rounded. In other words, Ghost of a Chance wasn’t choppy, rushed, and didn’t leave me hanging. Both Mason and Fort had some real depth into their characters and the story itself was very believable, if a little predictable. For me, it’s a solid 4 star.

Mason and fort have things in common they both both ghost catches. But mason has lost his ways and this might be a chance for him to believe again. So when They decided to go live streaming on Halloween night, he never thought this one night would be a great night. Mason and first have known each other for 4 years but they thought of each other different ways you can say maybe misunderstanding on their side.

I must say i was getting chills while them in a dark house and haunted and all.

This was a great little novella for the Halloween season. I loved the interactions between Fort and Mason, it was a little awkward at times which only heightened it's realism. The ghost hunting was humorous, genuine, maybe not creepy but very enjoyable. Overall, this is a great addition to my paranormal library.

This is a fine, short novella with ghosts, humor and with bit of romance. I liked both MC's but the sex, near the end of this story, in a haunted Wisteria Grove just didn't feel right for me. I mean you are in a creepy hunted dark house, but you have sex? No way, I don't but it!
