I write what I love to read—irresistible romance, from sweet to steamy and everything in between. I grew up in a small town and was once a landlord of two uninvited squirrels. For notifications on all my book releases, subscribe to my newsletter: http://eepurl.com/rx_AL
Man oh man was this a great story. How Willow is able to change Colin's views on life, how she teaches him that you can't only plan for the future if you don't take time to enjoy the present. Loved it great story.

Gosh I am really trying to find out how to write this review. I haven’t really heard much about the heart condition that Willow had, but reading this book has made me want to read more about it. I believe that everyone deserves a chance at a happy ending. It doesn’t have to be for a long while just enough for everyone to live with a chance to be loved. In this book Willow helped Colin see that he needed to think more about having fun then working all the time.
I about cried several times while reading this book. I want to be able to give this review an extra spin. Somethings we have to sit back and just think because sometimes words aren’t enough. You’ve got to put a little feeling into what you are thinking. I would love to say that this book has a happy ending but who really knows? Just as long as Willow and Colin have a little time together. With this condition you’re not guaranteed a happy ending. Willow tried to let Colin go and fall in love with someone that he could be with all his life and have children.
What Colin says though is very true. I could just walk out the door and be hit by a car as you can about your heart giving out. These aren’t his exact words; I wanted to put it in my own words. So everyone could die at any time. I could die tonight in my sleep, but I would love to think that I did something in this world that at least one person would remember me by. Just because something is wrong with your body doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t have a life and maybe have your happy ever life for at least as much time as you have on this earth.
I am truly glad that I read this book. I would love to say that my review touched someone just like the book did. I can’t read minds and predict that anyone would like this review. What I can say is that I hope it will and that someone reads this review and wants to read this book.
I loved this book! I honestly think it is the best romanerotica that Decadent Publishing has put out so far. Willow is such a likeable character and Colin the most driven CEO of a company I have ever met. When Willow meets him for his first massage, he won’t even loosen his tie or unbutton his shirt. He demands her total silence for massages and won’t even get off the phone or turn off the computer to relax and enjoy it. Don’t think for a moment Willow isn’t reputable. She runs an honest business, but she’s attracted to the handsome, uptight businessman and she figures since he’s only into facts, figures and business he’d make the perfect companion for some after business play. She isn’t looking for anything serious, because for Willow even the next day isn’t guaranteed and she’s not about to enter a relationship when she feels she has nothing she can offer. I loved this storyline and I couldn’t put it down, part of it was wondering exactly what medical condition Willow had that made her so determined to shut people out of her life, but most of it was the sizzling chemistry between Willow and Colin. Willow is constantly putting him in his place although he doesn’t agree at all with her live for each day and each experience philosophy. I felt the storytelling by Sara Daniel was superb. She did a great job of realistically portraying Willow’s health problems, and of keeping you guessing as to the particulars of it clear to the end of the book. She gave hints as to what was wrong, but she didn’t give it away. She builds the attraction between Willow and Colin very organically and has you hoping things, will turn out for the best, but honestly you are never sure what will happen until the end. I give this romance my highest recommendation.
I really enjoyed this book. I thought that even though it was similar in story to other books I’ve read recently, it had it’s own uniqueness which I loved. I felt for the characters and could relate to their feelings. I liked the themes in the book and thought it was original. This book is part of a series of books called ‘The Challenge Series‘ where the challenge must take a central role in the characters’ romance.
It’s my stop on the blog tour for Captivating the CEO and I’m glad I read this one! It’s a light read, but has a heavy topic interwoven throughout the book. It’s also a quick read romance that had me turning the pages and not wanting to stop! I needed to know what happened in the end!

This emotion and passion filled novella proved satisfying. I thoroughly enjoyed the immediate spark between earthy Willow and corporate (work obsessed) Colin and the progression of their relationship into something deep and potentially substantial.
Ms. Daniel did a marvelous job of conveying Willow’s need to spare Colin from the loss he would endure if he fell in love with her. I thought this was one of the most selfless gifts a person could give to another. To spare him the pain of loss.
But her selfless act ends up hurting him and the way Colin deals with Willow’s heart condition had tears in my eyes.
A wonderful story that I recommend to everyone, especially if you want to learn a little about the life of someone living with congenital heart disease.
I give this book five out of five heart shaped chocolate bars.
This was a short read that tugged on your heartstrings. Colin was a big time CEO that was all work and no play. Colin wanted to be fully prepared for the future. When he called Willow in for massages, they quickly realized they had different goals. Willow cherished every moment as it might be her last, she was also strong, caring, compassionate, friendly and giving where as Colin was completely worked orientated. Neither realized that one moment could change opinions and thoughts. This was a good quick read.

Willows zest for life is so wonderful, her need to live life to its fullest. Having spent her whole life living with a heart disease and not knowing what is going to happen next with her health, she’s learned to appreciate the little things. Something she is hoping to teach a certain CEO.
Colin is so focused in ensuring that his future is secure he forgets to live for the present. Not wanting to have a future that his grandparents ended up having, he works hard. He works so hard, that he doesn’t have any time to get a massage, hence the need for one to come to him. This is the events that will change his life.
This is an emotional story that has you pulling for not only Willow’s life but her happiness with Colin.
Great story! I can't imagine living with or having a family member with a congenital heart problem that required multiple surgeries at great expense, untold anxiety during and after the procedure, painful recovery and little prognosis for an extended 'normal' life. Sara Daniel has written a wonderful tale of Willow Jefferies enduring just such a fate but was able to include hope and love in the telling in addition to reminding us to "live in the moment and not take life so seriously" because none of us will get out of it alive. Cherish every moment you are given. Good job!
This is my second Sara Daniel's book and it totally reminded me why I fell in love with this writer's style a couple of years ago. All the character are so 'humane' that it's simply impossible not to like them (main and secondary) The plot is interesting and despite the heroine having a serious heart condition this is not used to blackmail you into liking the story. Dialogues are very believable and so is the love story between Collin and Willow.
So I don't really know how I feel about this book, I love it but I hate it too.
I just don't know what to think. This is all due to my opinion on the matters of the heart and love. I enjoyed reading it, but my own views conflicted with the words on the page. but from a normal perspective I would recommend this read to those who love a good romance.
A classic opposites attract story with a modern medical twist!
This is a story of a whirlwind romance between a workaholic CEO and a gypsy masseuse. It surprisingly packs a lot of emotion in the span of a few weeks.
The author does an excellent job of writing a sweet story that manages to give you fully developed characters.
