This boxset includes all books in the series; Verity, Clarity, Adversity and Purity.
Verity (Cursed, #1) Sixteen-year-old Perdita Rivers has spent her entire sheltered life being told what to do. Lately, she’s felt ready for a change, and the universe seems to agree. Her new best friend’s brother is the boy of Perdita’s dreams. Literally.
Even though he plays hot and cold, she’s sure there’s more to it, but she’s kind of distracted by the sense she’s being followed - not to mention the rumours of wild animal sightings that seem to mean more to her new crush’s family than they should. Perdy’s on a mission to find the truth, but maybe the truth is the danger she should hide from, after all.
Clarity (Cursed, #2) Perdita’s still dealing with the consequences of her actions when her enemies change their targets with no warning, but it’s the unexpected betrayal of those closest to her that hurts the most. When her world shifts beneath her, Perdy has to figure out how to stay standing without losing any more of herself to the werewolves.
Nathan’s watching everyone pull away from him, but he can’t control his destiny. He’s trying to protect his loved ones, but something always seems to get in the way. A public attack has everyone talking about wolves, and all eyes are on his family. His grandfather has lost his mind, and Nathan’s caught in the crossfire, but all of his choices will cost him a sacrifice. One way or another.
Nobody’s watching Amelia… Big mistake.
Adversity (Cursed, #2.5) Kali is the seventh of seventh, both blessed and cursed. With a father willing to sell her, and a life already mapped out for her, she’s desperate for an escape. But her way out can only come from the most unavailable person she knows, and stealing happiness comes with a price that many generations will bear.
Amelia’s haunted by disturbingly vivid dreams about a gypsy girl but ignored by everyone else in her life. She’s desperate to prove herself. To show everyone she can help. So when her brother and best friend display the influence of the curse on their free will—or lack of it—and a spirit warns of Perdita’s fast approaching death, she knows she has to do something. Yet she can’t ignore that something huge is happening to her too, and her journey leads her back to where it all began, but not everyone wants her help, after all.
Purity (Cursed, #3) Perdita’s life has gone back to normal in all of the worst ways, while Nathan doesn’t even recognise himself anymore. Still, they’re both trying to make do the best way they know how.
But when they finally catch sight of that flicker of light at the end of the tunnel, Vin plays his final, most deadly, hand.
So....I never give reviews but this book was awesome!! And the fact that it's a four in one pack...it's IRRESISTIBLE... I went through so many emotions from crying....to laughing. If you love a good read and you're obsessed with werewolves or just young adult romance..... DO READ
Such a fantastic series. Also has Amelia story. Loved the books. Happy with the ending. Felt it skipped way to many years at the end. I wanted to see the relationship with Nathan and Perdy they kissed a lot but that's it 😒. Overall great reads.
Teenagers! Was I ever that stupid when I was sixteen? I'd like to think I wasn't but fuck if I know...lol.
Perdita was actually a pretty cool teenager, a little naive, no thanks to her father and way to forgiving. What the fuck was up with Tammie? She sure was changed overnight and apparently for no reason at all. She was just so fucking rude and nasty to Perdita and she kept making excuses for her! I don't know if that makes Perdy a loyal friend or just a stupid one..
My thing is how the hell have the Evans family survived with no ties to other werewolves? Its just them and all they do is run from their problems, that's just so at odds with what I've always read about werewolves.
Overall aside from the teenage drama and angst, this was a pretty interesting and engaging story.
2) Clarity 4 Stars
This was unexpected. I honestly thought Nathan and Perdita didn't need the curse to know that what they felt for one another was real and true. Its not clear if their feelings will change after the curse broke, things were left muddled and confuse but it would be a shame if everything they felt was solely due to that curse. I feel like Perdita is really alone, her BFF Tammie turned out to be a complete bitch. Her father is kind of an asshole. Her grandmother is a bit delusional and her mother acts more like a friend than a parent.
What's going to happen now!
2.5) Adversity 4 Stars
This was a great little novella. It explained pretty much everything having to do with the curse. Though I felt bad for Nathan and Perdita, I would like to think if they are really meant to be mates, then they'll be mates. No curse needed nor required.
I'm wondering what else will Amelia be capable of now that Kali transfered her essence into her...
3) Purity 4 Stars
Perfectly cute ending to a very interesting and engaging series.
The beginning was a bit slow but as the story progressed the storyline got better and better. The book is filled with intrigue and suspense and has you second-guessing each character trying to determine who is enemy and who is foe. As I was reading I was talking to the characters, at one point even yelling, that's how involved I got. Perdita is about to discover that some myths are real, VERY real and is pulled into the paranormal world head-first. Werewolves, Gypsies, Curses, yip all real. This all has to do with a handsome new boy in her class, Nathan, that is intriguing (and quite annoying at times) that seems to be interested in her but danger seems to lurk around him. Is it worth it, is HE worth it? Read on to find out
I can say I wasn't sure about this series but once I started there was no way I could stop. This family isn't like ur original family. They are fantastic and caring.Perdita is a shelted girl ( sheltered by her own father). He doesn't let her do really anything. Perdita Is a human that gets caught in something bigger then she over thought possible. Werewolves, gypsies and curses "oh my". Nathan is a werewolf that is learning truths and how to be himself.. This series has many characters and u fall in love with most. It is a must read.
One of the best werewolf books I've read in a long time!
I loved how the plot flows and that the characters kept evolving and growing, I loved the ending and how their love turned out to be true. My daughter would definitely love this book. Well deserved five star rating because I didn't want to put the tablet down.
This series is about an ancient curse, involving soul mates, tragedy, kidnapping and loss. It’s entertaining and riveting at times, with unexpected twists. I really liked the characters, but there some of twists left me confused. Overall a good series.
This series right here OMG it was amazing from beginning to end anybody that knows me knows that I love my paranormal reads and this is one series that I highly recommend this to any and everyone trust when I say you want be disappointed
You may fall out of the wagon in middle, still the story catches up and holds you to it. Highlights: The romance and affection between the characters. The supernatural part and the wolfhounds.
A well written new take on werewolves. Takes you on a trip in several point of views and keeps you on your toes. The characters are fun and the emotions real. Couldn't put this book down!
I loved the series. I've never really gotten into werewolves before, but now I really want to read more stories about them. It was hard to put down, made me want to see what was going to happen next.
This was a terrific series to read! Full of action, twists and turns and Werewolves!!! Couldn't ask for more. I honestly couldn't put it down until I had read it all the way through to the end. This was really enjoyable!
I received the books for free in exchange of a review. I gave it a 4 because I really enjoyed the 1st book. 2 was good. By #3 the author changed the pov so many times. Plus keep jumping time lines. Made the story choppy. But I would continue to read the series.
This series started a bit slow for me, with the first book feeling more MG than YA (all the school drama!) but it actually progressed in an interesting way. Perdita is an interesting character with a great development.
I'm a sucker for the supernatural but this has to be one of the best series I've ever read! I wish there was one more about Perty and Nathan's children but I will just use my imagination to write a mental story about them.
Very exciting, tense and fun read. Love the Evans Pack can’t wait to read more. The all seem like friends and you want to stay in the town to see what happens next😀
