A swing and a miss for me
The first three books were on a different level than this one.
At times I felt like a ping pong ball being swatted back and forth with as fast as the POV changed as well as dealing with all the different characters as well.
It seemed rushed and some even seemed unnecessary as well.
And while the final book should wrap things up, I find myself even more confused.

My rating is strictly from an entertainment POV and not necessarily from a technical standpoint. I will start by saying that what drew me to this series was the intensity of Bly and Charlotte's love and the author's ability to lay on the drama and leaving me wondering what would happen next. As the story progressed throughout each book, I felt the author lost sight of the plot and the books became more of a soap opera instead of a structured novel. I wanted to see more character growth and plot build up. The story felt scattered at times. Now that being said, I loved the love triangle between Charlotte, Bly and Finn. Although Charlotte chose Finn, she still can't completely let go of Bly. There was lots of action and deception and questions left unanswered that will prove to be crucial in Charlotte's relationships. Very fast paced book but needs more structure.

Book 4 left me feeling unhappy and disappointed.
It started off really good, then middle became somewhat of a turnaround and then closer to ending it was rushed and it didn't even get a chance to get my head straight before another headlong rush into more headache, heartache and of course disappointment.
How can yo torture me like this Miss Kimball Lee. Leaving me in denial and knowing that Charlotte will not be with Alexander Bly anymore.
All I'm curious though is that whatever happened to Bly, Charlotte was there every step of the way. Curious much. Yes. She has feelings, the girl has feelings. What I don't get is that she practically dragged Maddie and threw her under Bly. Well of course Bly obliged cause anything for Charlotte. Yes Bly left me sad, lonely and I just want to reach out and hug him. I know, I know I'm overly dramatic.
The last 3 chapters left me in a cliffhanger mode. Just me. I suspected that all was not well between Bly and Charlotte hence now I know. The feelings doesn't go away and it feels like again I'm left disappointed I think that Charlotte didn't get it right time. Should I be happy with the outcome, NO sorry cause no matter what Kimball Lee left me with a broken heart.
There goes my love triangle and I don't think I will get that HEA between the couple I chose. Yes you know who it is. I AM TEAM BLY sorry FINN.
I seriously wanted to give 3stars but because I actually have the series back to back on my kindle I thought 4stars for overall heartache. There I said it again. :)

Alexander Bly is missing and his new girfriend Natalie is involved. JP and Finn go out in the snowstorm to assist in the search party with Charlotte looking for answers at the lodge. Worried about the safety of her husband out in the mountains with avalaches, Charlotte does some searching on her own. She meets Maddie who is a war journalist and they go searching for clues as to what Natalie is up to. They find where Alex has been taken and drugged......Charlotte risks her own safety to bring Natalie down. Alex and Maddie has a short love affair that end with Alex proposing to her for marriage. Cassandra inherits her grandmothers plantation with the help of her father to make sure she gets what is rightfully hers and also the location of the upcoming wedding for Alexander and Maddie.
This is a very short story but keeps you wanting to know....wedding, December babies in the horizon for these couples, and what other surprises are in store for Charlotte.

Finn'i seviyorum en baştan beri de onunla olsun istedim ama Bly işine de üzülmedim değil hani.. Maddie'ye gıcık oldum bu yüzden.. Isınamadım kıza gitti...
Kadınların üçü de bebek bekliyor.. Baya şenlikli olacak her şey belli ki :D
Devam kitaplarının özetlerini okudum kafam karıştı.. Acayip şeyler bir sürü değişiklik olacak gibi görünüyor.. Ama pek mutlu etmeyecekler beni sanki..

This story put it all in place. The loves of these couples. It was so good I didn't want to put it down. I fall in love with Charlotte, Finn and Bly. I can't decide who I want Charlotte with.

Again very rushed. The whole book was about a 100 pages. I read the 4 books in 1 night and was terribly bored.
