Daniel has been broken in every way for as long as he can remember. Will his wife and baby be enough to piece him back together? Can he break free from his past, when his father's sins still strangle his heart?
This was a great ending for me for this story...I got all my questions answered in it and as much as I hate to see stories end especially when I love the series, this was the perfect way to end it. The book starts out with steamy scenes and never leaves you wanting in that department for very long. We finally get to meet Sarah officially in this book as well (I was skeptical at first of her relationship with Seth only because they are both so damaged by their past, but you quickly see that they heal one another) and we also see Dara again who I didn't care for in the beginning because she lied in the beginning to Sofia about her weight the first time she came to visit . Ohh and I can't forget Gammie...who I LOVE, she is SOO rude at the right times and I laughed SOO hard reading her parts especially in context to Dara...not to mention when Dara and Sarah met for the first time....Gammie has no filter on her and doesn't care what she says in front of either of them and I LOVED that about her. I kind of wish we got to see Lucas pay for his actions against his sons past but I'm also glad we didn't because it would have made me so mad reading everything that they were put through as children.
My kudos to Azure Boone for a great series...if you decide to write more I will definitely read more from this series, but as I said I think that the end of this book was a great way to end the series.
this book was in my waiting list for quite some while. And after the last ending I was disappointed because of frustration. short story but unexpected ending. The first one was all about desire and physical. the second about secrets. the third more into feelings and discoveries. The last for me was acceptance, loving, caring, embracing life. when I ended this one, I got surprised with the interrogation mark. For me would this one be the last? yes for sure. if there is another book I hoped it would be pretty good something unexpected. you know like bad things very very very. I don't ever think that something will happen to their love. because Daniel is a man who is pretty solid and sure of himself even with doubts because of his past.
This is a almost perfect ending to a great story. Only things I would like to know would be what happens to the murder conviction? Does Sarah go to jail? Sofia and Daniel are still fighting his demons and she helps him every day. The love they share is undeniable and the chemistry between them is great. Daniel has Sofia, Seth has Sarah and Gammie is along for the ride. It will make you laugh and cry. I loved this series and you should read them too. Azure Boone has a way with a story and it will pull you in and you will not want to leave. Great job Azure, looking forward to reading more from you!
This is a continuous story of Dr Daniel And Mrs. Sofia. This is a story of love, happiness, sadness, and torment. While reading this u will see that no matter what life give u growing up , that if u have a true love u can make good over ride the bad. I love the ending of this story. It was perfect ending. Sofia and Daniel have the kind of love everyone wants but can they get through his past to stay happy.
Thank you Azure for taking us back to their story. And first of all NO NO NO it is not the end. You have to tell us how the whole murder charges thing turns out and what happens with Daniels and Seths father. I love how you make me laugh, cry and blush all in the same book. I look forward to the next one.
Daniel, Seth and Sarah have been through so much in there lives! It was nice to read that they were finally rising above all the trauma. For Daniel has Sofia and Danny. And Seth and Sarah have Anna and each other. Oh, not to forget about Gammie!
Well we're at the end??? I'm not sure because the author does leave an option for more.
What I liked: Daniel, Daniel's vulnerability, Daniel's loyalty, Daniel's scepticism... Did I mention Daniel? I liked that we also got some perspective from Seth through his own POV. Along with Daniel, he definitely deserved some HEA. And I'm so glad they both got that.
What I didn't like so much: Sofia's blindness/naïveté/stupidity. This really irritated me. A lot. Especially when it came to defending her "best friend" Dara. I saw that conclusion a freakin mile away. Idiot. I also didn't appreciate her outlook on every day situations. She came off uneducated sometimes. IMO.
Overall, this was an enjoyable read once again. The sex scenes were still HOT!! Damn the things Daniel liked in bed were unexpected a bit but no less freakin sexy as hell. This author writes good sex lol!! I wish we had more closure with Daniel's dad. Maybe if there's a book 5 I'll get that.
Well this book took a pleasant turn. It became funnier and revealed more secrets. While there was still a lot of sex, in all different ways, the maturity of their relationship was evident.
I didn't like the fact that the author went into Seth's POV (that could have been a whole new series).
There was the authors question as to weather or not I think its the end? I'm not sure...I love novels that leave some things to the imagination, and on the other hand there is a lot more unanswered questions that can make a great spin-off or a complete Epilogue novel. So I'm not quite sure.
Great series coupled with good writing makes this an interesting read!
I really enjoyed this series. I really liked the storyline and the characters. I really liked how the book ended. It could have another book that goes into the healing process and what Dara story was. But it could end with this one as well.
I didn't read the other books and I am glad I didn't because of the subject matter. I probably would have thrown the books. I do wish something would have happened to the father.
