Ever since that fateful night, he can't stop thinking about her. A timeless beauty in a nightclub, she moved across the dance floor like an angel, surrendering to the music - and casting a spell that could only be magic. When Phelan took her in his arms and kissed her, the Highlander knew this was no ordinary woman. This was a Druidess who could fulfill his every desire... or destroy him completely...
She is a mystery, a woman on the run, hunted by two different men. As much as she longs to be captured by the magnificent warrior Phelan, she knows she must resist the temptation. A vengeful evil is stalking her, watching her every move, a madman who will stop at nothing to possess her power. Once, she sold a piece of her soul for magic. Is she willing to risk Phelan's life, and give up her heart... for love?

Really enjoyed this story and the Dragon King's being a part once again. Phelan and Ashleigh's story was really good and the ending was awesome. Also, the surprise of Rhi popping up. That little sneak, I'm sure she stole that ring to give to Phelan and the Queen of the Fae has no idea, hahaha. I knew Phelan was special from the Dragon King Series but had no idea that Phelan is a Prince of the Fae. I'm sure this will play a part in what happens with the Queen of the Fae that Rhi has set herself against in the Dark King series which is still ongoing. Fans of this world are still waiting for the big reveal on who Rhi's Dragon King lover is. I have a feeling he is sleeping in a cave somewhere. On to the next story in the Dark World. Can't wait to see what happens next. This whole world is flat out fun to read about. The humor is great and is what makes this series a good fun read. Grant does a good job in writing battle scenes as well.

This book may be one of my favorites from this series. Phelan has suffered through so much over his long life and when he finally finds his HEA she is the one thing he hates above all else. Their story is one of heart break and loss but comes together with an incredible ending.
*Possible spoilers for series* So glad to read Aisley's story (and of course Phelan's). Phelan has always held himself apart from the rest of the MacLeod's and their chosen families. Phelan was kidnapped (by Isla) as a child (500 something years ago) and has been unable to forgive Isla for it (she was under duress). Aisley was also made to do things she didn't want under duress. Her cousin Jason (the new Big Bad) forced her to become a drough (a Druid who embraces evil and Satan). The Warriors have made it their mission to hunt droughs and evil. In the last book Jason was maybe defeated and they were dealing with a vampiric supernatural entity that feeds on magic (the Selmyr). I liked that this showed intent does matter. Phelan and Aisley fit well together. It does turn out that Wallace is stronger than ever. It takes Phelan the whole book to stop living in the past and find forgiveness. Aisley and Phelan's story is complete in this, but there is a bit of a cliffhanger to lead into Malcolm's book. The big events in the spoiler.
There will be spoilers and this is going to be a rant because this book pissed me the F off. But serious spoilers. Like MAJOR ones. So don't read farther unless you've read the book.
Okay so the first part of the book wasn't terrible... It wasn't good but it defiantly wasn't terrible. I hated that Aisley had to keep who she really was from Phelan. But she HAD to. He would have killed her if she would have told him. So I get it. Plus she did run away for 2 months AND she tried to get away after the first night. So I mean she tried. I was okay with her and everything else at this point. Whatever there is some lying but I figured she would tell Phelan and then sure he would be pissed. Because who the hell wouldn't be? But I thought he would at least listen to her explain!! But NOPE the fuckface didn't listen to a single word she said. He completely ignored her and walked away. This all happens after he plans to take her to his cabin and spend lots and lots of naked time together because he cares so much about her. He just walks away. I HATE HIM. This is something I can't get over because..
Duh Jason gets her and tortures her within an inch of her life over and over again. And did give away information? NOPE! Because she's a fucking good person and legitimately loves the asshole. And even later on in the battle, Jason has her convinced that he brought her daughter back to life, she still lies to him and tries to figure out a way to save them both. Meanwhile the douche is watching Aisley battle with her emotions over he daughter. It's written all over her face that she is in some serious pain and he doesn't fucking care. Because a woman who is in league with the devil can't feel that kind of pain so it must be fake.
OH and the freaking best part. Jason throws some magic fire or something towards the douche and Aisley jumps in front of it. Clearly she's evil. It's so obvious by everything that she has done up to this point that she is just pure freaking evil. So she just keeps adding to her evil-ness by gasp learning the spell from the ancients that will trap those weird ghost/mist things while she is laying on the ground DYING . Only then does the douche realize that he loves her and doesn't want her to die. But too fucking bad because she does die.
Course she comes back from the dead because she has crazy phoenix powers or some shit. And she is totally fine with the way the douche treated her. Because who would be mad? Certainly not me. NOOOO. I would defiantly want to marry the douche 3 days after he wanted to kill me. Obviously she is 100% sane and most defiantly made the right decision. Freaking crazy bitch.
So this is the story of how the harebrained chick fell in love with the douche.

An action-packed paranormal romance filled with sensuality and adventure! Taken from my review at RomanceJunkies.com:
For centuries, Phelan and his fellow warriors have fought evil, even as they struggle to gain control of the god within themselves, while trying to keep humans safe. The warriors managed to kill the two most evil droughs, Deirdre and DeClan, who were trying to gain world domination, by any means possible…no matter how evil. But, just as the warriors thought they could have some peace, DeClan’s cousin, Jason, strikes. Although they attack him and kill many of his followers, Jason manages to escape them and now, no one knows where he is or what he is up to. The evildoer seems to anticipate the warriors’ next move and he has a weapon that the warriors are struggling to overcome.
As MIDNIGHT’S CAPTIVE ended, warrior Phelan and Aisley kissed and then she ran off. Phelan is now pursuing her, determined to find her, but he is also searching for her evil cousin, Jason. Phelan spent decades in drough Deirdre’s cave, being constantly tortured, before his escape and her eventual death. So Phelan has a deep hatred for droughs, killing every one he finds. With women falling at his feet while he enjoys life on the road, Phelan has been content. But lately, he feels as if something is missing. Being around Aisley, he feels content and doesn’t understand why her magic makes him feel the way he does. He only knows he wants her to stay with him forever. But she has secrets…secrets she has yet to share with him.
Aisley Wallace, cousin to the evil Jason Wallace, has been under her cousin’s thumb. She was born a Druid, with magic of her own, but when she was down on her luck, Jason took her in. However, he had forced her to become a drough or evil Druid, and give her soul to Satan. Jason had made it plain that she is expendable and she fears him. When Jason was attacked by the warriors, she managed to escape, but Jason also managed to evade the warriors and now no one knows where he is. She knows if he catches up with her, she will pay for not staying to help him.
Believing that Phelan wants to kill her, Aisley runs from him too. But when he catches up with her, their attraction to each other is something she cannot deny. They spend a few idyllic days together, but she knows that as soon as he discovers she is a drough, he will kill her. Aisley’s magic tells her that Jason is coming for her and there will be betrayal and death, but whose betrayal and whose death? The only person who can save her is the one man she trusts…Phelan. But when he discovers her secret, will he kill her himself? Or will he forgive her, allowing them to find a way to go on together?
A thrilling tale, MIDNIGHT’S TEMPTATION, the seventh book in New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Donna Grant’s DARK WARRIORS series, is a fast-paced, action-packed paranormal romance that is alive with sensuality and adventure. The chemistry between Phelan and Aisley is explosive and the romance between them heartbreakingly realistic. Phelan’s struggle between his love for Aisley and his hatred of droughs is touching, as Ms. Grant brings her story to vivid life. The secondary characters add a great deal of warmth and depth. I especially enjoyed a fae character named Rhi and would love to read her story.
Brimming with secrets, betrayal, passion, magic, dragons, druids, immortal Highlanders, primeval gods, imagination, romance and one-of-a-kind love, this story is unforgettable. I absolutely love this story and I have found that it is impossible to just read one of the DARK WARRIORS books. Although each can be read on its own, the books in this delightful series can be addictive. Fans of paranormal romance will take particular pleasure in MIDNIGHT’S TEMPTATION as well as the rest of the DARK WARRIORS novels. This is a story you do not want to miss!
At the end of Midnight’s Captive readers got a tiny glimpse of Phelan and Aisley together. It’s quite obvious he has no clue who she is. He feels her Druid magic. He sees her beauty. He wants her. He chases her for months. Phelan has mad skills when it comes to getting women. The fact that Aisley continues to run from him keeps him chasing her. Aisley knows exactly who and what Phelan is. She has a pretty good idea of why he is chasing her. She also knows that she has to make sure that her cousin Jason has been permanently stopped before she can let anyone near her. She knows the atrocities that he is capable of and she is determined to prevent them. From the get go Phelan and Aisley were going to have a rough go at anything resembling a relationship. Both of them have some major trust issues. They may be fighting the same evil but there are so many unknowns between them it makes everything difficult. Luckily for them and the readers the one thing they are good at, they are exceedingly hot at. Aisley and Phelan know how to keep the pages hot. The more I read of the Dark Warriors the more I want the Dark Kings books to hurry up and get here. The Dragon Kings had a huge presence in Midnight’s Captive. Several of them made an appearance in Midnight’s Temptation. I am so totally ready for their books! Let’s face it dragon shifters are sexy. Donna has given them a Scottish accent and a mysterious past. It’s guaranteed awesomeness.
Loved the action, the romance, and even the cliff hanger of this book have me enthralled, wanting to read the next one. (And since it's Malcolm's turn....goodie, goodie, goodie!) Phelan...oh so many things come to light about Mr. Suave and Sexy, now we know why. And how he learns about his past and now his lady love, a drough, something he has sworn to rid the world of...YIKES! But I love how we got to see how love can change him and in turn how he feels about his place within the MacLeod family. Aisley, another one whom we suspected is more than just meets the eye but DAMN, that much more. With all her secrets revealed I understand why she had to be the perfect match for Phelan. Only someone with her heritage could take on all that is Phelan and was rattling in his closet. Wallace...with that thing ever die?!?!?! I know, can't have good without some evil but this guy takes the cake! Larena..what is going to happen to her? Will Britt and Aiden find something to help her or will Fallon be lost without his mate? Malcolm...our dear damaged Malcolm, will he lose himself or just be just be another pawn for Wallace as the ending foreshadows.
All in all, this is one I'll probably re-read a few times. Quick paced, witty, romantic and even makes you shed a tear or two; in other words, a very good book.
I Felt Aisley’s love for Phelan but after feeling nothing but his total hatred of her for being drough after he found out who she was Donna didn’t rebuild the love in him in the few pages between her taking the magic meant to kill him and her dying. He just suddenly started loving her again? I really thought he was falling for her before they met up with his friends and he did a total 180 in seconds...I felt his hatred of her after he found out she was drough and Jason’s cousin, and was so disgusted with him. All I wanted to do was strangle him. He was so wrapped up in her so-called betrayal, thinking only of himself...He knew of her past, knew she was afraid of who she was running from...HE CHASED AFTER HER and practically forced her to come with him, not the other way around...and then he puts all the blame on her for not telling him who she was when he found out. She even tried telling him on several occasions but things always got in the way or there were times he told her he didn’t care about her past and so she took the opportunity to have a little more happiness for herself before she did tell him and who could blame her? He verbally abuses her in the streets after she tells him when they meet up with his friends - like she hasn’t gone through that all her life - and she just takes it - ends up dying to save him and his friends from the selmyr, comes back to life for him even though he didn’t love her enough to believe in her. He was not one of my favorite warriors at all. I don’t care what kind of past he had - all the Warriors have a bad past with droughs! Granted, he was chained the whole time he was with Diedre, but every warrior there had a past to get over and none of them abused his woman like Phelan did. To me he did not show himself to be a real man by verbally abusing her and then leaving her by herself in the middle of the street and to walk those streets alone only to be captured by the very devil she fears the most. I love Aisley and I felt every bit of the emotions that she went through, especially those of losing her baby. And for him to think she used that to get to him sickened me. He’s no prince. I can’t believe of all the handsome, sexy, delicious, luscious warriors, they chose Phelan to be a prince. I didn’t think I disliked him so much until his story came out and proved him to be a warrior with too much baggage. I enjoyed all the side stories and Aisley’s story. I felt for her. I wish she hadn’t taken him back however. She should have been stronger and decided she deserved to be treated like a goddess instead of evil and had Phelan at least win her love back again. Now if she were evil I’d feel differently about her obviously but I didn’t feel any evil in her just some desperation to maybe escape her grief at the loss of her baby is what brought her to go with Jason, but even if she didn’t go with Jason willingly he would have forced her anyway, and tortured her until she did what he wanted her to do.
Then Phelan just all of a sudden is able to forgive Isla for her part in kidnapping him and taking him to Diedre. When all throughout the book he still was not able to really look at her. He answered her once when she asked a question but he didn’t look at her and I believe he still felt some ill feelings toward her. I think some things just happened too fast, and others too slow in this book. But I am happy for Isla that she finally got the forgiveness she so wanted from Phelan.
I ENJOYED ALL THE PREVIOUS BOOKS UNTIL Charon’s even though I love Charon. There were just too many errors in his book as if I were reading a DRAFT copy. I don’t honestly know how it got published that way. Was it self-published? I don’t know. It didn’t have just a few errors. From the first few pages to the end of the book it had so many errors, at least an error every few pages it seems. I think she was trying to do too much in that book - however, shouldn’t an editor or proofreader have caught all the hundreds of errors in the book? She couldn’t have had an editor in Charon’s book - impossible with all the errors or the editor needs to go back to school.
I don’t think I’m going to enjoy Malcomb’s story either. I don’t like the man he’s become. He uses the excuse that he was protecting his cousin Larena and that’s why he worked for evil...he can use that excuse all he wants but they were doing fine for ages and did he really take the word of evil itself to protect his cousin? If she were human it’d be more understandable...but she and her husband are warriors who live in a house full of warriors and they held their own against Diedre pretty well. His saving grace is that he ended up betraying Diedre and helping to weaken her so the Druids and Diedre’s sister could kill her.
But I really don’t like Malcomb’s attitude all but I will be reading it since it’s the last of the series. If she didn’t include side stories of other couples and plots I doubt I’d read it but since she does I will give it a shot and hope for the best for Malcomb. Hopefully he becomes a real man, a warrior I can respect by the end rather than one who continues to pity himself until the last 30 pages. I used to like him when he was human. He was a man and a warrior as a human and I even felt for him for a time after what happened to him. But after he killed Duncan, though no one else blames him, I just never understood how he could kill a friend and still claim he’s doing it to keep Larena safe and still have no feelings...he was truly dead inside. He knows Diedre and how she is - he knows in his heart that she wouldn’t keep her word about keeping Larena safe. I think he would have been better off had they let him die. His soul and conscience obviously died that night he was attacked. But I guess the warriors wouldn’t know that...I would have done everything I could to save my loved one too. It’s just a shame how he turned out. We’ll see how Malcomb turns out...hopefully it’s better than Phelan!

This story made me cry in a good way! I have followed this series from the very beginning and I always wanted Phelan's story. From the very beginning my heart went out to him from all the things he suffered as a Warrior from childhood through adulthood. Aisley was a surprise because of everyone he could fall in love with she was someone he would hate more than any other. I love all the twists and turns of this seemly ill fated love that kept me enthralled to the heart stopping end.
From the very beginning, I was captivated by the rich world-building and the incredibly well-developed characters. The chemistry between the leads was undeniable and their journey was a perfect blend of high-stakes action and tender, heartfelt moments.
Donna Grant masterfully weaves a narrative that is both exhilarating and deeply emotional. I found myself completely invested in the outcome and couldn't turn the pages fast enough. This book is a must-read for anyone who loves a powerful, passionate, and unforgettable story.
This one had me on an emotional roller coaster like not other in this series. Phelan book lived up to what I expected and even more. I enjoyed Aisley character a lot, she is strong yet liked being taken care of by Phelan. In turn, Phelan did not fight his connection like all the other but was hard headed enough to let the relationship all most slip away.
I gave this book 5 stars because it was well written. The characters were well developed and the plot was excellent. I was mesmerized by how the story progressed. I felt the pain of Phelan and Ashley. What a dynamic ending to the story- a Phoenix rising from the ashes!!!
Phelan's story was so heartbreaking and wonderful. New magical beings were introduced adding a whole new level to the series. Don't miss out on this one. I found it to be the best book in the series!
“We never lose our demons, Mordo. We only learn to live above them.” - The Ancient One, ‘Doctor Strange’ (2016)
“Tell me about it, Stud.” - Sandy Olsson, ‘Grease’ (1978)
This was a well written book that elicited a whirlwind of emotions. Within the story there were well developed characters, a captivating plot with supportive subplots, an immersive setting, good pacing, conflict and tension of all kinds, and a satisfying ending. As well as romance and a good dose of steam, of course.
To say that Phelan Stewart and Aisley Wallace are an unlikely match is perhaps the understatement of the year (or, for a Dark Warrior, century) when speaking of this couple. Phelan’s hatred of droughs has driven him to want to kill such Druids while not being able to let go of his anger since Deirdre captured and tortured him in Cairn Toul Mountain. Aisley is not only a drough but also cousin of the nemesis to those at MacLeod castle, Jason. Fortunately, as more of Aisley’s history is revealed by the Warriors and Druids it becomes apparent that it’s a matter of ‘before judging a drough, walk a mile in her shoes’ which lends empathy to her plight. Thankfully, though doubtful, love prevails in the end.
As in reality, all the characters in this book experience both the sunny peaks and dark valleys that happen in life, making their various situations all that much more relatable. In addition to new allies - the Dragon Kings - introduced in the previous book, other magical characters make an appearance in this novel. As if there wasn’t already enough suspenseful adventure, Phelan and Aisley are launched into a Dark World version of the genealogy series ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’ as they investigate their own respective family trees for the purpose of helping to vanquish both the selmyr and Jason Wallace...to further discover jaw dropping knowledge about themselves and their ancestors than anyone would’ve expected to believe let alone be possible.
I must full and well have fallen under the magic of the Druids in this series, the drums and chanting slowly growing louder as I am compelled to read Malcolm’s story in the hopes of eventually answering a burning question:
Midnight's Temptation rocked! After centuries hating and wanting revenge, Phelan meets a woman that changes his focus completely. She is on the run and doesn't trust easily - much like himself. She is also enticing, captivating, and driving him wild with need. When they first met, Aisley believed that Phelan was there to kill her. After all, that's what warriors did. She was an evil druid and she was running from the greatest evil their kind had ever seen. Jason Wallace was not dead. She was hearing him in her mind. Soon, he would find her and by the time he was through with her, she knew she would welcome death. But as Phelan keeps appearing and saving her again and again, Aisley surrenders to him. For one night, she will be in his arms, then she will tell him the truth about herself and her plans to destroy her evil cousin. She knows she will not survive this final battle, but she is not afraid to die. Phelan knows she has secrets. Secrets she is afraid to share with him. He will give her time, and he will earn her trust because nothing else matters except keeping her safe and by his side. More than once, I wanted to smack Aisley over the head for holding back her secrets. Phelan has been betrayed before. A betrayal that took him from his family and made him a prisoner of Deirdre for 150 years. She knows he won't take her secret well. He will hate her and kill her. Still, it is the right thing to do. Aisley's made too many wrong choices in the past. Now it is time to face the consequences of her choices and go out with a bang. The end of Midnight's Temptation is the best I've read in this series so far. So many secrets, so many discoveries, and a finale worth its weight in gold! Definitely, a must-read if you are a fan of the Dark World books!
This is the 13 book of this complete series and i just love them! I love the world, the characters and the plots.... Donna achieved something really extraordinary.
In here we see the story of Phelan and Aisley (and what a couple they made) and again their fight against evil. Phelan his someone who always intrigues me and he has suffered so much that i think he finally deserves his HEA, Aisley is a character that i never understand completely so it is so much fun to see her explanations and discover her background story. Of course he needs something like her to be able to let go of his past, but come one.... poor boy! I confess that from the beginning of the book i was expecting the moment when she told him the true and when it happens..... OMG!
The final.... wow i was not expecting something like that to happen! This book literally broke my heart so many times and make me cry like a baby. It also made me laught, in resume it made me feel all the emotions that an excellent read should. I end up giving 4.8 out of 5* to this, it is one of my favs from the series and i could not wait to continue it. I really recommend Donna's books to every fantasy lover out there.
Story: 3/5 World Building: 3/5 Enjoyment: 3/5 Relationship Style: MMC stalker/FMC lonely (mate) Sexual Level: 3/5 Romance: first half- 4/5 second half 1/5 Series: Book 7 POV: multiple Audio Narration: Female 3.5/5
Haha. Phelan was literally a stalker at first. And based on his inner thoughts considered kidnapping and raping her even though it wasn’t said in those words. But he grew up alone in a dungeon and uses women as sex dolls for 400 year before finding one who turns him away and in turn sparks his obsession so forgive the guy for not understanding how relationships work? 🤔
And the way he treated her when he discovered the truth? Unforgivable. I ached for Aisley’s hurt. And then she tried to unalive herself to get away from Jason but nooooo he of course is right there and saves her to take her and torture her. And still she doesn’t betray Phelan even though she knows he wants to kill her. And then when she is given the allusion that she could have her daughter back? Heartbreaking. I actually cried. And then she dies for the prick who calls her evil? Unforgivable. But wait. She chooses to come back to life for him. And she DOES forgive him. Without any groveling. When he tries to with the absolute bare minimum she tells him not to and that she understands? Well now I’m just appalled. I guess marry the ass, whatever 🫠😵💫

I struggled with this one in the series. I do not like to read books in a series where 1/2 of the book is about everything that happened in the past books. It ends up pulling together a lot of repetitiveness that I feel if you are committed to the storyline then you should read the other books in the series versus having a 100 or so pages that regurgitates several paragraphs from other books. I almost felt in several places that I had just read it and was worried that I lost my place in the book because of serious deja vu. I do have to admit that since I am coming at this series so late from when the other books were written that I have a lot of the history very present in my mind.
Also the sex/romance scenes need a little bit of variety on the dynamic. But I guess that is the problem with series as they all just get to repetitive. I wish the author would change it up just a little so that is wasn’t so predictable.
This book gives you all the feels. Grab a couple tissues, cause you'll need them.
Aisley is on the run for her life. She's made some bad decisions, and now that things appear safe for her to leave, that's what she's going to do. Except there's a sinfully handsome Warrior that keeps following her. If he finds out who she is, he will end her existence.
Phalen has had one rule with all the women he's known over the centuries. Love them, and leave them before they awake. There's just something about the druid he's following that makes him want to toss that rule away. He's on the hunt for an evil drough, and anyone that is associated with the evil needs to die.
Ms. Grant can weave a story so well, you are immersed deep into it and find yourself ignoring life as it goes around you. You feel what the characters are feeling. You cry with them, you feel their pain. And most of all, you feel their love.
Aisley: I know Phelan will be furious when I tell him my secret but I'm going to start a relationship with him anyway and then make it worse by letting him take me to his special place and still not tell him, and sleep with him (several times) and still not tell him, and let him tell me all his secrets and still not tell him, and let him tell me all about the warriors/druids plans and STILL NOT TELL HIM! And I only told him in the end because his friends were about to tell him for me. He should understand right?
Phelan's friends: You know she lost a kid right? Why are you mad at her?
Phelan: You're right that totally makes up for the fact she basically lied to me for our entire relationship, made a fool of me, and then ripped my heart out.
Me: SMH

I’m a huge Donna Grant fan. Her mix of heat, myth, and action usually hits. But I swear, the first 55% of this book was pure agony. It’s an endless loop of “I should tell him but…” that gives edging a new—and deeply frustrating—meaning. I kept waiting for something real to happen, but it just drags through secrecy and hesitation. My eyeballs got a workout from all the rolling.
But here’s the thing: once they get to the fairy pool, the story finally wakes up. The connection hits, the plot actually moves, and it starts to feel like the Donna I love again. Everything before that, though, felt like she burned through all her creativity in the previous book and was running on fumes.
Still love her. Still finishing the series. But this one seriously tested my patience.
This installment brought the series back in a big way, especially since I felt the last book suffered with too many story lines and a lot going on, and I didn't feel the connection between the main couple as much as some other books. I've always been interested in Phelan's character, and even though DG was still setting up Dark Kings this one just flowed a lot better. This one had an interesting story line, and way more emotional connection between the couple -- I loved seeing them get their happy ever after! Logan and Gwynn are still my favorite though ;-)
I am loving this series in audiobook. Each book is thrilling, action packed and laced with romance. Midnight"s Temptation was even more. The " I didn't see that coming" moments were frequent. The shocking twists had me finding excuses to stay out side and work just so I could listen even more. The battles had me on edge. I didn't want to think what could be happening in the future. I was rewarded for all the tension with a beautiful ending. Time to download the next audiobook. Squeeeee!
Phelan doesn't know that Ainsley is a drough. He can feel in magic and knows that she is a driud. Phelan feels her power differently because she is his mate. They travel to the Isle of Skye in order to find out how to get rid of the Selmer. More druids are found as well as an introduction to the fae and Rhi. What happens when Phelan discovers that his Ainsley is a hated drough? Only one more book to go til the end of the warrior series. I am so excited! These books are awesome!
Midnight's Temptation is Phelan's story and Aisley. Grant introduces more characters in this story. We will meet the Druids of the Isle of Skye, along with my favorite Fae Rhi. This is the second time I am Reading this series. This is the first story we will see the interaction between Rhi and Con which is a prelude of what's to come in the Dark Kings Series. Phelan and Aisley's story will break your heart and then put it back together again. So enjoy the ride.Happy Reading!
Phelan, such a torchered soul. He meets a mysterious woman and falls, hard. Anslie has been lied to, torchered, and used by Jason. When he fell, she took the opportunity to run and save herself. She meets Phelan at a bar. The two are drawn to each other. She knows who he is, but he does not know her. She runs, he chases. They spend time together, face many trials and challenges. Heartaches and HEA. What is yet to come?
Jason needs 2 stay dead!! Ainsley lost so much in her life she was desperate 2 believe anything that was told 2 her by her psycho cousin. She realized that phelan helped her 2 b a better person and change her enough 2 sacrifice her life 4 the only warrior she ever loved. Its good that she can become better in the future now.
Not my favorite characters of this series. MMC is frustrating and not in a good way. He is so rude towards the end and then it’s like ‘jk, I’ll accept you.’ No way. MFC can’t communicate and flip-flops so much it drove me crazy! Still amazing storyline from Donna Grant and I’m heading straight into the next one to see what happens!!!

Phelan is drawn to Aisley and hunts her while hunting for the evil druid Jason. He doesn't realize she's drough and she's afraid to tell her secrets. They also search to find a solution to capturing/containing the selmyr. Not only their story, little peeks into the other couples and new druids.
