Man Yuu Kitani's art is so good - so much of this reminded me of Otomo and like the AKIRA (hah coincidence?) art especially volume 1 with the swarm/swirling mass of goopy demons - and I kinda wanna read his steamboy collaboration with Otomo.

Also wanna read SAC manga but after I watch SAC.

Anyway I thought the OVA for this was super anime original but the 6th volume of this (which came out AFTER the OVA, way after) is surprisingly similar to how the OVA ends - both kinda confusing and gayer than the original manga's ending in a tragic gaypocalypse kinda way but different vibes...

Ryou's like heck yeah im crazy crazy for Akira -

Really not that great of a manga series, everything is really crappy with this especially the story but the art keeps it interesting 😴😁👌
