When I first started reading the Brie series, I didn't really know what to expect. I was just starting to encounter the BDSM world with books and I heard amazing things about this author. What I didn't expect was to fall in love with each and every character (even Ms. Clark and Mary). Brie reminds me of myself when I first discovered BDSM and throughout her journey I felt like I was experiencing everything she was with her. I can't say that about many stories because each have an alpha male and usually the story line would never happen in the real world. But for some reason, I felt as if I understood Brie and could relate to a fictional character.

Red Phoenix is just an outstanding writer you doesn't sugarcoat anything when it comes to her stories. She tells you how it would be in the real world and for that I am extremely grateful. I can't believe this amazing series has finally come to an end, but let me tell you it was a FANTASTIC ending! I can't wait for more of Red's books...you have a lifetime fan Red :) Master and Brie will be forever in my mind.

I loved this series and I'm truly sad that it's over. I will definitely be buying the whole story once it's released as a full paperback novel. I had so many emotions siphoning through me while reading this and so even though I don't feel enormously satisfied after completing it, I am definitely content with it. The only reason I'm unsatisfied with the ending is because it was the ending! I knew Thane and Brie's story had to come to an end but I really didn't want it to. There were so many things that I felt I could relate to in the different characterizations within this story that when I "closed" the book on the final page, part of me felt like I was closing the book on myself. Not always an easy thing to deal with. This story opened up so many avenues for me and answered many questions. I also really appreciated the different personality types that were introduced throughout this whole piece. I would dare anyone to read these stories and NOT come away with a character that they feel inexplicably drawn to for one reason or another.

I will say my favorite part of this novella was how the release of Brie's documentary was handled. It was so sad and horrific to see how some people would react even though I did expect it, and would've been offended if it hadn't gone on that way being that this story has felt so realistic all the way through. Having the general public act in any way other than how it was portrayed by Red, would've been an insult to the readers. Red handles it with such aplomb and sensitivity. Part of me wonders if this lifestyle is known to Red personally as it would be extremely fascinating to really get to see from someone in the lifestyle's pov that knows what they are talking about without resorting to the preconceived notions and judgements of the ignorant masses. I would've watched Brie's documentary if it were to really happen. I think stories like this are wonderful because it shows people that just because something is considered outside the "norm" doesn't make it wrong. We were all born to love and how we express that should be our choice.

I'm terribly sad about this being the end of such an amazing world. I fell in love & lust with these characters. I watched them grow & learn about themselves, each other & the world. It was an amazing & emotional journey that I will treasure & miss. Thank goodness I can read them again & again.

This ending was perfect. A wonderful conclusion to an amazing journey. I loved so many things about it. I thought it was interesting how Brie's film consequences played out as well as the Beast, even Faelen, Lea, Mary, Tono... Sir was so insightful & wise (forgive, me dear Thane for using that word!). I fell even more in love with him! There were surprises. Some funny moments. Many smiles, sighs, pants, moans & so many poignant moments that touched my heart & soul deeply.

Please, Red Phoenix: continue this amazing journey! I want to see what happens to Lea; Tono; Mary; Mrs Clark... Any new collarings, babies or weddings? I'd LOVE to keep visiting this world & its characters! Maybe you could do the entire series from Sir's POV? Anyone else! Faelon's, Lea's, Mary's? Please reconsider this being the final book! I want everyone that I love from these series have their own HEA.

I highly recommend this book as well as ALL of the Brie books (both series) to people that are open minded about sex. But please read them in order to get the full emotional effect & enjoyment of this journey.

It could be that voicing my little issues in my previous review was therapeutic, or perhaps it was the appearance of Boa and his... let's say set of skills... but this went well. Better than I expected.

This being the longest part, it allowed for some scenes to be included that reminded me why I liked Brie's journey in the first place. There was a lot of reminiscing happening on these pages. It was like a reunion of a sort.

Brie and Sir's relationship had another milestone. Weird still calling him Sir after everything that's been said, and happened. It was a nice conclusion. Admittedly, there was a part at the beginning that threw me off. It was so at odds with all of this, and Sir's, I mean Thane's behavior was very un-Domly, and overreacting. In Brie's place I'd start doubting the stability of my relationship, but that's just my opinion. Not to mention it happened after a very intense scene that left permanent marks on them.

Never mind. All in all, a nice wrap-up of all the drama, and an ending of the series. I think my reading preferences have moved in a different direction now, but for the most part I've had fun with Brie and her googling.

It's the end and I want to cry happy tears.

This book was...perfection. Red has never disappointed me in her writing skills. When I begin this series with Brie's First Day of Submissive Training I was hoping for a lot of kink and hot sex. Boy did I get it, but I got so much more. I feel in love with the story and the characters. I was routing for Brie and Sir from the begining.

The journey with Brie and Sir has been spectacular. I feel so lucky that I stumbled across Red Pheonix well over a year ago. She has brough so much joy, sexiness, and excitment to my reading.

#8 feels like a brittersweet ending simply because I never wanted it to end. I'm selfish like that.

Thank you doesn't feel like enough to say to Red, but thank you for bringing this story to the world. I loved each and every novella in the Brie Series. Everyone is a 5 star read. This one however I wish I could invite the 10 star review because I would certainly give it to you.

THIS IS A MUST READ....but make sure you start from the begining first.

I feel like I'm losing my best friend! Brie Bennett, I will miss you! Thane Davis, I will continue to dream about you!! This series has entertained me for the past eight months (yes, I was late finding these gems), and I have been so excited for each new release. I bought this final book the first day it was available, but I had a very difficult time opening it because I never want Brie's story to end! Could this final book be any more perfect? My thoughts are....absolutely not! Is it a fitting ending for the entire series.....oh it most definitely is!! Ms Phoenix is a genius at allowing the reader to see all sides of her characters and to feel their feelings deeply. As much as it pains me to say this, she has told a complete story. I am left not needing more to feel satisfied, but just wanting more because it's so good! Believe me, you will not be disappointed in this final chapter of Brie and Sir's story! Thank you, Red, for creating this perfect ending!

I started this book with bittersweet feelings knowing it was the last installment of Brie. I have grown to feel like I know her as a friend and was feeling I would be upset at her leaving me. I absolutely loved the book! There was alot of expectations on Red Phoenix to wrap up all the loose ends of the series. She did us proud!! I am very happy how the book played out and how each character's stories completed! The story wasn't rushed. It just flowed nicely. There is even room for a spin-off series! Hint hint! Reading the Brie series has changed me personally. I view some things much differently now because of reading Brie, and for that I will be forever grateful. Brie's story is a rollercoaster of a ride and she ultimately does get her happily ever after she deserves. It was a perfect ending to a spectacular book and series!

This was a wonderful conclusion to the after graduation series! It also leaves the door open to revisit Brie and her Master in the future if Lady Red is so inspired.
She also has inspiration for story lines for Tono, Mary & Felan, and the new training center in Colorado (not gonna mention which characters are going to move there). Many possibilities for the future, even the Training center under Master Cohen.
I guess what I am saying is these have become such beloved characters, that I hope Lady Red will revisit them from time to time so we can catch up with old friends!

This has been an amazing journey i had along with Brie!!! At first i was a bit skeptic when i started the Brie series but i have come to love Brie and all the other characters in the story. I will really miss reading about Brie and i wish there was more books i could read about her story but i guess all good thing have to come to an end and what an end indeed!! I thought as i was reading the ending that the author gave a good closure for all the characters in the series leaving me more than satisfied.

So many emotions occur within me as I read this newest book. How each of the individual stories of the characters can be told and consume you, yet bring you right back to Brie and Sir's story as if you never left their side. Brie's documentary premiers and gets quite a reaction. Brie redeems her birthday presents from the many guests at the party. I am a little scared but excited to see what the future holds in store for everyone in the community. A beautifully intoxicating well written story.

Can you believe this is the very last instalment of Brie? I have loved both the Brie and After Graduation series and won’t hesitate to read them all again and again.

Starting on this journey with Brie you wouldn’t have anticipated the conclusion of the After Graduation series. The Brie books were seriously hot, funny as hell at times (I love Lea and I will miss her terrible jokes) and certainly covered all aspects of BDSM life and in their own way addressed a number of misconceptions about the D/s lifestyle. The After Graduation books took the reader in a new direction and demonstrate life after the training centre for Brie and Sir as Brie comes to terms with the life of a sub and her overwhelming feelings for her master. Faced with challenges along the way, their journey is both sexy as hell but warm and tender. The relationship which has developed throughout both series provides readers with an in-depth experience of a D/s relationship and without necessarily expecting at the outset, a touching love story emerged.

AG8 continues after Brie’s birthday party and you finally get to see what presents she was gifted, some of which were scorchingly hot, especially Lea and Tono’s “erotic surprise” but also touching, especially Mary’s present. The premiere of Brie’s documentary is the culmination of her training centre experiences and her new lifestyle and whilst not wishing to hide herself away with Sir’s help, Brie tries to make people understand her choices, especially her parents.

The supporting cast in both series are dee-lish and it would be hard to choose a favourite Dom but personally, I would be torn between Sir and Tono but then again, I loved Faelan and Rystar, but Doms aside, let’s not forget the scenes involving Boa, phew!!!

I’ve got to say, and not wanting to give anything away, the ending brought a tear to my eye. I simply loved the way Red Phoenix wrapped up Brie’s story, every outstanding facet was addressed and it was nice to see HEAs all around.

Red Phoenix has once again exceeded my expectations and delivered a great story.

In this final installment of Brie After Graduation all of the lose ends are rapped up very neatly. We see an end to the chaos wrought by "Elizabeth"; Learn the full story behind Rystar and Mistress Clark; a contentment flows thorough The Blond Nemesis when she accepts her match in Faelen;and discover what happens when a condor finds his mate.

Through the release of Bries documentary about the training center and the D/s lifestyle, Brie finds personal success and learns what it it's too make a difference in the lives of those around her. Though Bries success is not without some discourse, Sir helps her to see the bigger picture and proves his love and belief in her.

As always, Red had provided us with with a sensual picture of the BDSM world. We are titillated by the tools and tricks of the trade. Not to reveal to much, the Wartenberg Wheel and Kinbaku ropes bring to life the sexy and playful sides of this couple we have come to love. Tea and Sir have seen strife in their time together but as with the condor they will soar together and plummet as one. Theirs is not the classic love story of our mothers, but it is a love story for the ages.

With that I say thank you for this story and bow before Lady Red in request for a revisit in the future.

Everything about this book radiated love, security and closure. Lady Red had quite a challenge in front of her by ending this precious gift of a continued series to the die hard fans like myself. She mastered (pun unintended)this book brilliantly. Obviously, I could read about Brie and her Master the rest of their lives, but like any talented author does, Red had to find a stopping place that did her characters justice as well as sated her readers. I am always impressed with how inventive and exciting the sex scenes are. This is after all, an erotica novel even though I have begun to fall in love with this story of love. Just when I am sure that Red can't send me anymore tingles, she out does herself. The scenes in this last installment are so erotic, that I honestly can't pick a favorite. This author is so full of imagination and delight, that she leaves me breathless and wanting with each turn of the page. As much as I will miss these wonderful characters, I am at peace with the way the book ended. As usual, Lady Red never disappoints. ;)

RED has done it again! The whole series was wonderful, but this ending was perfect. I laughed, I cried, my heart was racing and I felt the love for all the characters. Got a since of closure at the same time as a feeling the lives of the characters will live on, and hopefully someday read books that extends their lives. Maybe even an extension of Master and Brie. Would love to see what their actual wedding would be like, and with the intro in to parenthood they get from Mr. Gallent in this book that pushes hope that will be apart of their future as well.
My mind now wonders with hope!
But I must say this is the best series I have ever read. RED really has a way of writing that draws you in and gets your emotions so involved, that you feel yourself apart of the characters.
Excellent job, well done! Highly recommend this story on so many levels.

This was a beautiful ending to an amazing adventure. I cried, laughed, needed B.O.B and swooned several times. Red Phoenix takes you into the hearts of her characters. You become apart of their world. I fell in love with Brie from the first novella and enjoyed watching her grow as a submissive, a friend, an artist, a daughter, a lover and a woman. Not to mention Lady Red is a skillfull erotic author that can teach us all a thing or two! The concept of a training center-if only. Red writes about the dynamic of a D/s relationship like no other author I know. You are able to explore it along with the characters, it's amazing how she does that. This whole series is an absolute must read. All the past characters make an appearance, making this final installment even more special. Just wait until you read the chapter on Lea's birthday present! Thank you, Lady Red.

Ok so this book was bittersweet but oh so wonderful and I am hoping that this is not the end of Brie' story. Reading the entire series I can honestly say that Red connects to her readers... I personally connected to the book on a level that it was actually freeing for myself from the demons that Mary has conflict with. I can't say enough praise for the way Red has introduced this series and also the after graduation as well. I love all of the characters and I have read several BDSM series and this is one of the more real life ones I have read! I praise Red for everything she has shared thru her books!! I highly recommend the entire series for anyone who has demons of their own, has a desire to know about the BDSM world and if you want to be enthralled all together!!! LOVED IT!!

★★★★ Brie Surrenders Her Heart by Red Phoenix (After Graduation #8)

This is so bittersweet. I loved the journey, and truly hate to see it end. The final installment gave us a bit of all the books. It was heartbreaking and wonderful all wrapped up. However we do have a few unresolved details, so maybe there is hope for another novella. A girl can dream, can't she?

My only complaint would be my copy seemed to be all over the place. Pages repeated, paragraphs not matching up, so I had to refresh it often. This also made the editing issues stick out.

Oh heavens! I just finished the last page, and not only am I touched to the core with tears in my eyes. I'm also so proud, amazed... This is real hot. Not only that, it's also very deep and profound. I feel that you get a clear insight into the inner workings of the characters, and that goes for not only this book, but also all the previous books in the Brie: After Graduation series and the Brie series. I've loved this series and glad it ended with the question I've been screaming at Sir to ask for the whole After Graduation series. The Brie series in general is not only hot hot hot, but it's also actually very educational about the true side of BDSM. I feel enlightened. So glad I found the series by accident!
