About the author

Chase Walden initially got his start in the book world as a cover model for the popular Chase Walker series. He teamed up with author Lacey Weatherford to co-author the third book in that series.
Chase is well known in his home area of Arizona for his incredible athletic abilities, both in football and basketball. He enjoys going to book events and meeting readers.

Torn upon my feelings towards this book, i decided on a 3 star rating for various reasons. Biggest plus, many things that seemed absolutely foggy until now, are finaly explained.


Normally when i hear there is a new book to be released in a series i love, i can't contain myself at all. When the news of the final installment in Chasing Nikki series found me, i felt vivisected though.


Truthfully i wanted to read this one, only if Nikki was a part of it.
And by part, i meant an alternative-world scenario. Well as it turned out that wasn't entirely too far-fetched.


I have to say, i hated the second book. I hated Brit from the first one anyway, so it wasn't so difficult for me to absolutely loathe a character that was getting repeatedly on my nerves and felt like a cheap substitute for an amazing heroine, Nikki.


But even so, i have to acknowledge her efforts and respect her for standing by Chase's side when he was at his lowest. Even if i detested the second book, in my opinion it was a good conclusion to the story and it showed deeply how much of an impact Nikki had on Chase.


Here though, everything we thought we knew as true, is a lie. What really happened the night of the accident is reveiled and Chase and Nikki's love story has a second chance.. Alive and Well..





THOUGHTS ABOUT THE BOOK

- I know many readers feel weird about the srory's twist, but if i have to be honest, i liked it.
- It was strange initially to connect with everything and the first 50% was really hazy, but after the original shock, i had the feeling i was still inside the first book.
- The first half of the book is entirely different than the rest. All that happens is in a dream world.
- His grandpa is the best!!
- I didn't like that his mother had the courage to plan a wedding, so shortly after the accident.
- I liked the second part of the book so damn much.
- Nikki!!! I love that girl.
- I liked the ending. Very romantic, very fitting..

I'm not sure why I am adding this to my "tbr" list. I am not even sure why there is a third book. The second one ended nicely so why are we rocking this boat? I guess I am a glutton for punishment.

Sadly, I really liked where the book was heading until the 60% mark and then I was like "WTF just happened..." I felt like book 2 was irrelevant after reading this book. Kinda peeved me off.

And then the "end". It felt like the author got tired and just decided "F-it.. THE END"

I totally felt that this book was unnecessary.The way the second book ended was good enough.

The first half of the book as events that happened after the second book.The book was ok until it reached the second half.The second half of the book completely wiped off everything the first and second book was.I thought it was completely ridiculous.

This book was a serious miss for me.Even though I enjoyed the first 2 books,this book completely ruined the series for me.I would recommend readers to skip this book completely.

Just no. I skimmed just to get through but gave up at chapter 18 - the big reveal - which in all honesty made a farce of the first two books.

Omfg dreams do come true! With the way finding chase ended, I really didn't see the need for this book. I felt Chases journey had come to an end but after reading this book I can say I am sooooooooooooooo glad it was written and sooooooooooooo glad I decided to take the chance on it even though I wasn't expecting much from it. Can't say much without majorly spoiling it but poor Chase has gone through a lot!! It's sad his football dream had to come to an end and after everything he truly is an amazingly strong guy. I'm still in shock of the direction this story went.....the moment it hit I balled my eyes out! I went from just vaguely into the story to wide eyed and hooked!! Well done to both Lacey and Chase on this novel, and to those who are sceptic to read it.....you need to!

The first half of the book... Okay- it was okay. The second half the book the plot was just ridiculous. What was the point of Finding Chase then? Very unrealistic and just not what I was hoping for.

You know, I absolutely loved the 1st 2 books and this was well written also but I am so mad!! After all the emotions I went through in Chasing Nikki and in Finding Chase and have it end like this....I am totally pissed off. I was really getting mad at Chase in this book, I felt like he was betraying Brittany. I had become such a cheerleader for Chase & Brittany, even though I really liked Nikki too, I was so rooting for them and for it to end like it did, I feel betrayed. I'm just going to forget this book and go with how it ended in Finding Chase,

I love the first two books figured the third must be as good as the first two, but about halfway in i started to get disappointed. All I could say was "Seriously??!". The 3rd book was totally unnecessary. If you haven't read it yet, DON'T even bother. So not worth it. Reading this will ruin the series for you. :(

OMG! Talk about a crazy turn of events. Before reading this book I had wondered why there was a need for it because the second book ended with the closure necessary for a happily ever after. I loved the first book and although I did not like that he would not end up with her, I was okay with him and Britt together and actually really enjoyed the second book. I have read a lot of series where they drag out a couple's story far more than they should but I can say that anyone who has read the first two books MUST read this third one. I absolutely loved it. This book did something that most do not.... It totally surprised me and in the best way. So, anyone who is skeptical or on the fence about reading it because you do not see any need for there to be more to the story, put aside the doubts and READ the book. You will not be sorry! This is the perfect ending to Chase's journey!

The first book makes me cry for weeks and unable to read the second book and hate that Nikki died, i am so devastated and depressed that Chase lost Nikki, being his strength and inspiration after losing his Dad. Nikki gave Chase reasons to move on with his life despite all the tragedy and in the end He just going to lose her. I didnt continue reading the second book, i cant see Chase being with Britanny. Please i would like Chase to be with Nikki. And it would be great if the third book will give Chase and Nikki a happy ending together.

I have to admit that I haven't read the second book, although I know what happens there. I had been spoiled about the third one and it was the reason I decided to read the second half of this book. It was a nice twist , but the epilogue was short and disappointing. Like the author got bored or tired and wanted to get it over with. The first book remains my favorite nonetheless.

Ok, so let me just say I read reviews but they never make my mind up for me. If I'm going to read a book I'm going to read it and I'll make up my own mind on how I felt when I read it. If I enjoyed it and what I loved about it. I always find he good in every book I read. That being said, I was a little upset at reading this one review that gave away the whole plot of he book. No warning nothing.. I couldn't believe it but it made me even more determined to find out how the book went myself.

I loved this book. The whole entire series was just awesome and heartfelt. Yes, Chase went through some really hard really real life. He had to learn to overcome many obstacles and change some things around but in the end everything that happened to Chase made him a better person. He learned that not everything went exactly as you planned it and that it's how you deal with things that truly matter. I loved that each book was a real part of Lacey and Chase. I loved reading Lacey's life story as well as the written one. I know that everything can't always be roses and sunshine but isn't that what we all want? We want to be loved and for everything in our life to be perfect.
This book was a bunch of messed up stuff mixed in with so much love and friendship that you just have to read them all to know what happens next.
I love this family. This was a great great series and I'm so glad I finally sat down and read them all.

At the end of Chasing Nikki I was heartbroken. I refused to read book 2 because it just wouldn't feel right.
I started to hear rumours about this an I thought "how the hell??!!!" So, obviously, I one clicked! I had to. I needed to know if it was true.

I found Chase rather annoying. Fake even. I didn't feel any chemistry between him and Britt.

I wanted to swear a lot because, well, Chase needed a reality slap a few times.

I was so totally in love with Chase and book one, but this? I'm gonna sound so repetitive, but HE. WAS. ANNOYING!!

And then it happened! BAM!! I actually cussed out loud! Too loud even. It was way too unbelievable. I dunno why, but it felt like a slap in the face really.

I'm really angry right now because this shouldn't of happened.
For those who loved book 2 then, yeah, the series should of stopped there. For me, Chasing Nikki was enough, the end, goodbye.
Fair enough real Chase wanted his turn, but, this just wasn't it.

I feel real bad about this review, but by the looks of things I'm not the only person who feel this way.

Now, don't take my word as gospel, go read it.

But for me? It's ruined.

For some reason my emotions were too attached from this series. I really hated how book one started so good and then it just ended into a blackhole. I read book 2 for the sake of hoping that there might be a miracle, but the story got worse. You married the bestfriend of your ex-dead-lover?? I hated it. I really really hated it. But book 3 was the miracle that I was hoping for. Although I thought book 3 was unnecessary since book 2 sucked big time - I read comments on how worth it book 3 is gonna be, especially to frustrated Chase-Nikki 'fans' like me. And so I did.. But I thought book 3's going to be all about how Chase has finally moved on and answers or justifications will be explained and that I'd end up rooting for Brit and Chase together but then that's not the miracle! The miracle is... NIKKI IS ALIVE! Albeit the 3rd book was rather forced for the sake of a peaceful post-read emotions, I'm glad the author was able to back up everything and finally gave me a happy ever after. 5 STARS FOR CHASED DREAMS.

I've read all three of the books now and after Nikki died in the first one, I was heart broken for Chase but was glad that he found his HEA with Brittney in the next. With all that being said, I couldn't stop wishing that he was with Nikki instead.
So Imagine my surprise when I read this book!
I was starting to get a little bit annoyed until about half way through because even those Chase was with Brittney, he couldn't stop wishing that he was with Nikki. Brittney was pregnant. I know if that was me, it would be a kick in the teeth to be second best.
I kept on with it though, hoping that he would stop wishing that and I'm glad I did, because wow, I definitely wasn't expecting that to happen!
I've not read a book like that before and I can say that the twist made it redeem itself. I am definitely in love with Chase again!

Ok so I'm rating this a 4 because Lacey can't write a bad book. But I'm not sure I liked it. I mean this just wasn't what I expected. I'm having a what in the heck did I just read moment. I'm not sure how I feel. The first two books really knocked me on my butt however this one didn't. I understand why she went in this direction but I'm not glad she did. I wish she would have done something different. I'm feeling a lot of sadness for the what could have beens as far Brittany and Chase's "dreams". I dunno. Maybe it's the freshness. I still love Lacey & Chase but I want to shake them right now. lol

I hate rating books badly but I just couldn't bring myself to give this one more than 2 stars.
I actually don't think there was a need for this one and think the series should have stopped after book 2 which ended nicely.
I loved the first 2 books but found myself skimming through this one just to get through it. I didn't enjoy the plot twist at all, it actually left me a little confused and when I realized exactly where the author was going I wasn't sure if I wanted to keep reading. I just felt this whole book was unnecessary.
It's a shame as I've read a few of her books and liked them all.... But not this one.

I really don't know how to properly rate or review this book. I loved the first book, but the ending broke my heart. I liked the second book, but could not fully commit to the Chase/Brittany relationship. I loved the idea of this third book, but it all just felt too forced and far-fetched to me. The 3 stars were for the writing, that's still stellar. Although I didn't LOVE Chase and Brittany together, I still think the story should have ended there.

Ugh! What a way to ruin a series. I'd been waiting so eagerly for this third book even though I wasn't expecting another book. But it just ruined the whole series for me. It just made the first two books seem like they were based on some stupid irrational dream. I loved Chase and Brittney together, so this book was a big NO for me.
