Even if you know nothing about Greek Mythology I am sure you have heard of the legendary Pandora's box. This box was said to have held evil and released on the world when it was opened by Pandora thus earning the name Pandora's box. Ms. Rose used her extraordinary imagination to add a twist to this epic tale by having the decedents of Pandora forever cursed for her curiosity. Vara the Conqueror struggles daily with the curse of Pandora and the taunting of the fates. Accepting of her fate she relishes in the vices that control her actions. Nikolai is a demi god sent by Hera to retrieve the vices controlling Vara, have her give them up willingly, capture them , return them to Pandora's box and save the world. Should be easy right, the catch is Vara can not find out. Seeing the goodness hidden in Vara and the feelings she inspires makes for a very interesting interactions. Given that Vara is a decedent of Pandora she has the curiosity of a cat and when she gets something in her head she is like a dog with a bone. The interactions between the two strong willed characters are very entertaining and I enjoyed watching Vara turn into the women she was meant to be.
