This the first of two books. I like the character Juliet June (JJ) and her Rottweiler,Bacon. JJ gets herself involved in a murder and typically gets into more trouble. There's an ex husband that she in good terms with and because of the murder, there's a detective character. It's easy reading and enjoyable. JJ does make dumb decisions that you know will only get her into more trouble. She helps solve the murder and there is some intrigue and mystery as to who committed the murder.

An FBI cadaver dog named Bacon? Really?

Great fun read. A good who done it and a wacky heroine and her doggy companion make a great team.

Not as humorous as I thought it would be--but Bacon is a dog of character!

Boring

I really wanted to like this but lack of concise writing and boring plot with cardboard characters made it impossible. And the dog was barely in it
