Ehh... These books are okay. I first read these books when I was ten in the fifth grade and, now, 3 years later, most of the stories fail to catch my interest (me being a very avid reader, and when in the fifth grade, read at an 12th grade level)when I first discovered these books, I thought they were going to me exciting stories like in the 'Dork Diaries' books, but when I finally read the Mackenzie Blue books, I was very disappointed.
This series is about Zee, a middle school girl, and all of the things that she goes through with friends, family, crushes, school, and music. I remember reading this series a few years back, and I decided to reread it. Unfortunately, the books did not meet my expectations. I liked them much better the first time I read them. I ended up being really frustrated with these books especially the last one. I gave this series a 2 out of 5 stars and a 4/10.
