Molly grew up in California but now lives with her husband and daughter in the oh-so-amazing state of Texas. When she's not diving into the world of her characters, some of her hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, traveling, and long walks on the beach . . . which roughly translates to being a homebody and dishing out movie quotes with her hubby. She has a weakness for crude-humored movies and loves curling up in a fluffy blanket during a thunderstorm . . . or under one in a bathtub if there are tornados. That way she can pretend they aren't really happening.

Sorry-not-sorry, but the cover is so... not great. *struggling to not be rude*

I totally understand Reagan when she get's all hot and bothered when Coen does something cute and fatherly with her son, what can I say, female hormones? Seeing a hot guy holding a kid, especially your kid is so adorable and completely hot at the same time hahaha

So yeah, when I see a hot guy with a baby/kid *coff Channing Tantum coff* I cannot help this urge to jump his bones like a cat in heat xD

Genius Molly McAdams, genius!

One thing annoys me though... Coen is kind of cliche, although his is Asian, something we don't usually "see" on a main male character (more male characters should be Asian, cause Asians are SO HOT), Coen is also the oh-so-typical guy who was in the army and has now some fucked up trauma to deal with aka nightmares aka flashbacks, whatever... So yeah I was hoping for more from him.

*SPOILERS AHEAD DON'T READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW*

Btw, do you know when you get to that part of a book where it's tittle connects to what you're reading, sorta "eureka" moment? Well when I got to that part where Coen surprises Reagan on her b-day with a photo exhibition and finally tells her what the hell had happened to him... again I found so "ohh ok... this is so... expected?" yeah I was already expecting for this to happen... Coen's trauma would get in their relationship's way, they would temporarily break up, Coen would realize his mistake and beg for Reagan's forgiveness. Of course then he would have to spill his beans about his "demons" and all would be ok.

- "A night of not remembering is heaven, but that”—he pointed to the picture of the three of us—“is my peace. You and Parker are my peace. You’re my life. My family. I can’t live without you, please don’t ask me to keep doing it.” - Capturing Peace by Molly McAdams

It was this moment I was talking about people.

I really loved the ending though! I love weddings!!

Ok, ok, I really like Coen despite everything I said, he's so sweet and romantic... When I was reading through that part where Parker calls him dad for the first time and Coen's like "holy shit, he called me dad, oh fuck I wanna cry like a baby cause this is such a touching moment.", yeah well that got to me! My stomach was hurting due to the butterflies... stupid butterflies, always messing with me when I'm reading something good.

5 stars is not enough for this book.

Just a few things to say...

I am so excited for everyone to be able to read this book. On release day grab your copy and have tissues ready. I know, I know, always have your tissues ready when your reading a Molly McAdams book right?!

Every once in a great while you stumble across a book that touches EVERYTHING you love in a book. And that's exactly what happened with Capturing Peace. I was hooked from page 1 and didn't stop until I was finished. As with every Molly McAdams book I've read, I've had tissues ready. I have no idea how she manages to write such emotional charged scenes that pull at my heart strings. I don't think she could ever top Taking Chances, but that is a hard one to beat.

I don't want to spoil this book for anyone because I went in without reading anything but the synopsis and I think that was great because I was able to feel what happened, not what somebody told me would happen. So I want to talk about the characters a little. Coen Steele. Holy hell, I'm a sucker for the men with troubled souls. And Coen Steele has exactly that! He is trying to live his life but he keeps having reoccurring nightmares of his time in battle. He has a heart of gold and it's so sad to see him struggle so hard with sleep.

Reagan is a single mother of a young boy, and is the sister to Coen's friend he went to war with. She is a strong person and could be super stubborn when it came to her heart, as well as her son's heart and I find that very heart-warming. She puts her child above her feelings foremost. The one character in this book that tore me to SHREDS was Brody Saco. We will get to hear his story in the next installment and I think it may give me a run for the money of breaking my heart worse than Taking Chances.

I've heard that people are docking stars based on how long the book was. That didn't factor in my review what so ever. It doesn't matter how long a book is as long as the story is being told properly and is heart-felt. You can tell Molly put her heart into this story because it's for somebody she is close to. When you get to the end of the book there is a link that leads to a website Molly had put up for Tyler's photo's. DON'T CLICK THE LINK UNTIL AFTER YOU HAVE READ THE BOOK! And I suggest listening to the song as you do. I had chills the entire time I listened to the song and looked at the photos. It was such a beautiful way to end the story.

This was my first Molly McAdams book. This is mostly because I tend to avoid love triangles, and she tends to write them. But this book/novella caught my attention because it's not a love triangle, and I love inter-racial relationships. Add in a strong Asian male, and I was sold. Too bad we don't get much of his background outside the military "incident." I would have loved more cultural things in there. But I loved Coen. He was a great character. Funny and sensitive, sexy and compassionate, and those scenes with Parker were the sweetest.

This was a heartfelt story with some trauma references, but not delved into too deeply to make this a dark read. It's light and lovely. The single mom story with the adorable son was great. Reagan has dealt with a lot, but I loved how supportive her family was of her and how much they encouraged her. Parker, her son, was nearly perfect, which made him slightly unrealistic (I have three sons, so I should know), but he was so adorable that I forgave it.

The romance was super sweet. It was pretty quick, but I guess with a novella, I expected it. But Coen and Reagan were really great together, so I really enjoyed their romance. The way they understood each other, were there for each other, and improved with each other, was heartfelt. Then add in the family aspect of Coen with Reagan's son, Parker, forming a terrific trio, and I couldn't help but root for these two.

I enjoy a good Molly McAdams book, so I was eager to read this novella that is a prequel to the start of a new series.

Reagan is hard not to love as a heroine. She is unbelievably strong and self sufficient. I always admire single mothers since I am not one and have a husband that does beyond his 50% and I still struggle. Reagan has sacrificed her life for her son's. She has closed herself off from men because she doesn't want her heart or her son's heart to be broken.

Coen is a man who knows what he wants and goes for it. He has an instant connection to Reagan and he doesn't let her push him away. Coen's only complication is he is a soldier with PTSD. He isn't dealing with it and it causes him many sleepless nights. Being with Reagan seems to lessen the despair but he doesn't talk about it with anyone. His love for Reagan and her son is truly heart warming and when he makes a huge mistake at the end, he fights to right it and win her back. Men like him don't come around everyday and I choose to believe they exist.

Coen and Reagan's story was easy to dive into and had a great HEA. People will enjoy this heart warming story. I look forward to the rest of the series.

Capturing Peace was a heartwarming love story about two people finding love and peace within each other. For Coen Steele, his peace came when a single mother and her son walked into his life and left a permanent mark forever. For six years, Reagan devoted her time to her son, Parker. She had no love life and put relationships on the back burner but all that changed from the moment she laid eyes on Coen. The instant chemistry between them was palpable. I really enjoyed this beautiful and heartfelt story of Coen and Reagan finding and letting love in.

When I heard Capturing Peace was being released and coming out, I got so siked for it! I love Molly McAdams and ALL of her novels! 5 stars to rate this amazing novel is just not enough so I am going to rate it myself over 5 stars and give it 10 stars!! It was just that great... Capturing Peace is a novella to start off a new series from Molly McAdams, and it is a terrific start to a new series.

Reagan is one of the main characters in this novel and she is in high school. She is dating the perfect high school dream guy. He plays football, and she is the cheerleader for the football team and also a dancer. She ends up finding out that she is pregnant with her high school boyfriend's baby and he just wants her to get rid of it because he doesn't want to be a father much less have anything to do with a baby at his age.

What a duesche?? lol..

She starts to think about all her options but she knows that the only option for her is to keep this baby because it is a human being inside of her, and she refuses to hurt it or do anything at all to harm it.

Is this a good choice for her? or will it be a terrifying experience that she will not overcome?

Another main character in this amazing series is Parker. Parker and Reagan have been living together ever since they graduated high school and ever since she moved out of her parents house. She didn't move out because of the reason your all thinking though... So don't get all sad just yet.. Her parents did support the pregnancy and her baby being born. They loved the idea of being grandparents and helping Reagan raise her newborn son. Reagan realized after having her new son that there was no way she could do all of this by herself, so thank the lord for her parents stepping in. She does though want to raise her son by herself in some sorts. She doesn't want to take help if she knows she doesn't need it for sure. Another person in Reagan's life is her brother Keegan. He is her best friend and will always be there for her. She knows that if she needs anything at all, just to ask him. He will do anything for her because he loves her.

He was in the military and has some friends named Coen and Saco. They were all stationed together overseas. Coen just got released from the military and is now back home where he belongs. They formed a bond while being overseas and always were there for one another. One day something really bad happened though to Coen and ever since he has never been the same. He has been trying to overcome his fears and battles but nothing has worked so far except for his photography. That seems to help him a lot in some ways, that nothing else will.

Will he get past his fears and overcome everything in his path?

I think so... lol.. One day while running to get some coffee at the nearest coffee shop he runs in to Reagan a beautiful girl, like no one he has ever met before. She catches his eye, and for some reason everything just clicked for him and he knew he has to have her.

Capturing Peace to me was just a unique story with so many bold and detailed moves. It got to me emotionally and I just wanted more! I do want more! lol... If you are out and about or sitting at home wanting something to read next, then go get this book and you will absolutely adore it! I know I did anyway...It is one of those books that you look at and you want it on your TBR list and say you will get to it, but it is there staring right back at you saying READ ME, READ ME! lol♥ Go pre-order NOW below...

We all know that I'm a huge fan of this Author and with this book my fangirl status grew in leaps and bounds! I am so excited to be getting the back story on Brody from "Sharing You" It's making the anticipation all the sweeter.

In Capturing Peace We meet Coen and Reagan. Coen is a friend of Reagan's brother Keagan and Brody from "Sharing You." All three have recently left the Army for other lifestyles. Coen is a photographer and finds solace in his craft. He's tortured by an event that was beyond his control. He barely sleeps and when he does he has horrific flashbacks. Reagan is a single mom raising a son by herself after she finds out she's pregnant at 16 and the father walks away without looking back. She's terrified but not about falling in love for herself she's afraid her son Parker will be traumatized if she brings a man into his life who will eventually leave.
When they meet accidentally there are immediate sparks that Reagan tries to ignore only to have Coen show up at a lunch date with her brother and his girlfriend. She's so livid she walks out on all of them. Only to have Coen run into her again while she is at the park playing with Parker. After a minor freak out she gives into the pull between them and decides to hang out with him. That's when things get interesting......

This story was more than just a romance. It deals a little with PTSD and the fears that anyone with a child can relate to. The book moves along at a great pace and even though the couples feelings may develop quickly it's not in a cheesy unbelievable way.

"No, why did you do all this? It hasn't been a week since we actually started talking, so why would you put up with me......" "I don't do relationships Reagan. I've just never been that guy... I've always thought they were pointless, to tell you the truth. I didn't want to deal with the headache of them. And, Duchess you are proving to be one massive headache that I can't seem top get enough of." "Then why?" "Because I found someone who chases away my demons just by looking at me. I had a girl more or less fall into my arms who can make me forget everything just by saying my name. Why wouldn't I push for this.... I'm not declaring my love for you because I'm not in love with you.....Yet!"

I had so many moments during this book where I just fell in love with this couple.. that's saying something since it's only a 182 total pages! This book was heartfelt. I loved that even though there was depth to the characters it was a breezy read. This one was a five star for me and I don't give them out to often. I felt it deserved it because it had all the components I love a super hot swoon worthy guy, a strong smart heroine, and a story filled with love and passion with no excuses! Way to go Molly!!!

We've all seen the Aristrocats right?
Good because this book could be the human version of that.

Reagan got pregnant while in her school and her boyfriend wanted her to have an abortion, she refused and he broke up with her. 6 years later she's sworn of men, except for her 6yr old son, Parker. Coen just got out of the military, he can't leave behind his war demons but he still tries to live a normal life. They meet by chance and there starts their awkward relationship.

Earlier I compared it to the Aristocats
For one Reagan is a single mother and Coens “Sweet” nickname for her is Duchess. When Coen and Reagan first meet she is not impressed, she's sure that he's just trouble and she doesn't want to start introducing random guys to Parker.

While Parker is ecstatic to meet Coen and finally have a daddy figure

Parker is an absolute sweetie, he's the best part of the book!

“Because Jason has a dad, and he said everyone has a dad. But I don't. Uncle Keegan's my uncle. And Grandpa is my grandpa. And I like Coen. So can Coen be my dad, mom?”

I mean how heartbreaking is that?

Now I had some serious problems with this book, because basically the first 10 chapter's she's talking about how she's sworn off men, she can't trust them, and they wouldn't be good enough for parker and she goes OOON and OOOON about this but she hasn't been with Coen for 3 weeks when already she's trusting the rest of her future with him... Which I guess is better than The Aristocats because they were inlove after hours

Once again Molly has left me a wreck! A wreck I tell ya!!

Reagan got pregnant at a young age and her douche boyfriend at the time told her she would ruin both their lives and to get rid of it. With the help of her family, She was able to care for her son. She got a job and became the best mom she could. She wasn't looking for love. Heck, she didn't even think she had time for love! All she wanted was for her son, Parker to have the best.

Coen Steele is her brothers best friend. He has demons and tries to fight them. He rarely sleeps. He's heard all about Reagan from her brother, but hasn't met her. Until she turns into him. Literally!! That cracked me up! Coen is just.... how do I explain this? Sex on a stick? Swoonworthy? Hot? Arrogant? Alpha? Hell, he is all of the above and then some!!

Reagan and Coen definitely had their ups and downs. There fights were not pretty at all. You put an alpha and a stubborn woman together and what do you get? Peace. At least for them .

This story just hit me hard. Just like all the other books by this absolutely amazing author, she captures EVERYTHING!! The emotions, the story.. just everything. You cannot help but fall in love with her books and characters!! Once again, Molly has done an OUTSTANDING job. Her books just get better and better!!

In this, you catch a glimpse of Brody, Coen's other best friend, who will be in "Sharing You". My heart broke for him so bad. I am looking forward to reading this!

Molly, you have once again kicked ass with your amazing skills. And this cover!!! OMG!! It is just beyond words for me!! Its amazing and Tyler is just sexy as hell! You are a favorite author of mine and each time I read a book of yours, I am completely blown away!! Seriously, a standing ovation for you because you deserve it!

5 million Stars for this book!!!!!

I always love a good Molly McAdams book, so I was eager to read this new series. Molly never disappoints with her characters and heart wrenching plots and this one was no different.

I love love love Reagan as a heroine. She is soooo strong and self sufficient, but to a fault. She's close herself off from men in general because she doesn't want them to mess with her or her son and their family dynamic which is completely understandable after what she's gone through. She is snarky and witty and I just adored her love for her son and her family.

Coen simply melts my heart... I loved him from the beginning to the end and even when he was being a moron I still loved him. He's been through a war... And I don't mean like a war of the heart I mean real live war the ugly kind where you see things you can never erase and he is fighting some truly ugly demons. But his love for Reagan and her child are truly heart warming. That this man that is fighting so hard to get through every day can love so willingly and be so caring, it was beautiful to read. Men like him don't come around everyday.

Overall the book was well written and flowed beautifully I would have liked a longer story honestly I thought that theirs was too short and I would have liked to have been longer but it does say Novella so I was expecting it.

I give Capturing Peace 4 stars. I think it's a good read that many will enjoy and that Coen will steal the hearts of single moms everywhere...

Ive have to say i really got this book, ive been where Reagan has been and know the feeling behind the characters need to put her child first and not wanting to parade a string of guys through her sons life. Reagan is so strong and self sufficient but to a point it was ruining her. She's close herself off from men in general and has forgotten how to let someone close to her.

You can really connect with he characters.

Coen is the man, he new right from the start if he wanted a relationship with Reagan that she came as a duo and he still went in feet first. He showed Reagan how to open up again and how to share the great things and hard times in life, that it wasnt bad for her to ask for help. The connection he found with Parker was beautiful and the whole scene at the hospital reception really pulled at your heart strings.

At times i felt Reagan was a little to clingy with Parker but being with Coen helped her to get to a healthy place in her life and a better relationship with everyone they all seemed to blossom together.
The tears poured for Saco and the accident omg that poor man my heart ached for him, but the way Keegan and Coen pulled together for him was beautiful.

All in all i loved this emotional realistic read, another hit from the great Molly McAdams.

Being in the war can lead to having demons and not trusting those around you, but so can being left to survive and on your own. Coen Steele has just returned home from War and is now living as a civilian doing the thing he loves most - photography, but being home isn't easy as he finds himself unable to get a good night's sleep. That is until he meets Reagan Hudson , when she was sixteen years old she fell pregnant with her son and her boyfriend Austin at the time gave her an ultimatum - to get rid of it or else he's gone as he didn't want to be a part of it. This caused her to never trust a guy or anyone else for that matter and has vowed to be the best mum she can be for her son. What will happen in this novella , when the two people who have everything to lose decide to take a chance with each other ? Will the relationship work or will it be disaster from the get-go ?
Has a chance finally arrived for both of them to "Capture" the "Peace" that they need to become happy and complete once again ?
Find out in this awesome Novella by Molly McAdams and if you loved Capturing Peace , then check out Book #1 Sharing You and of course, be prepared for watery eyes as it wouldn't be a Molly McAdams book without them.

This was so much better than I first thought it would be. I related to Reagan and got why she his herself more than anything. I think any single mom can say we've all been there, where we're to afraid to go back out into the dating world only to be hurt. But she also was a little too clingy in the beginning with Parker. Like she was almost too afraid of not being needed by him anymore she would have shattered. But being with Coen helped her to get to a healthy place in her life and a better relationship with everyone in her life.

Coen was a great guy who went in feet first and didn't realize how much he was invested in Reagan & Parker till it was too late to do anything bout it. The love of a child is for more powerful than the love its parent and when he realized how much of a grip it had on him he was done for. When he realized his mistake I felt so sad for him cause he didn't just lose Reagan he lost Parker too.

As for Saco oh my I felt so horrible for what he went through only to lose everything he held dearly. I can't wait to read his book it sounds interesting!

In true Molly McAdams fashion, she wraps you up in this novella and brings your emotions to the surface. The characters are fresh and real. Although fictional, their struggles are ones that happen in everyday lives.

Coen is a a military man just getting used to settling into civilian life. He's not looking for anything serious, relationship wise but when he meets single mom, Reagan, his plans start to change. He craves being near her and her son.

Reagan has been a single mom since she was sixteen. Crushed by her high school sweetheart after he refused to be a part of raising her baby, she has trust issues with men. She doesn't want to let Coen in, but he just keeps pushing through her defenses.

Can Coen and Reagan survive their past demons and capture their peace?

Although this is a novella it reads like a full length novel. I Reagan and Coen were wonderfully written three dimensional characters. Their emotions poured off the pages. The love scenes were tame and implied. And of course there were tears. Molly seems to have a knack at making readers cry. A quick and enjoyable read, I would definitely recommend it.

A look of shock crossed his face for all of two seconds before he was glaring at me again. 'Just remember:You're the one who threw us away. You're the one ruining your life. Try to bring me down with you, and I'll say that thing isn't mine.'"

Of course no one ever plans on becoming pregnant at the age of 16 but Reagan sure thought her boyfriend Austin would have reacted a little better. Reagan loved her baby and couldn't bear the thought of 'getting rid' of it as Austin had put it. Thus ended her brief history with men. Six years later, she is a happy single mother independent from her very loving and supportive family. Never wanting to allow someone in, with the risk of hurting her or her son Parker. Reagan never had an interest in another man either, that was of course until she literally runs smack into Coen. The connection was instant, and if not for her brother Keegan she never would have seen him again. Coincidentally Coen is the man her loving brother had already been trying to set her up with.

"I didn't want a man in my life, and had been fine without one ever since Austin. But since I'd run into him a week ago, something about Coen and his dark eyes had left me craving him."

Coen has dark past. Having served in the military and having seen things that no one could possible imagine or have to see. He is plagued with night terrors. This however all changes when he meets Reagan who brings him a sense of peace. Coen isn't the relationship type of man, well so he says but honestly the way he was loving for the most part and patient with Reagan has me believing otherwise. Lol. I adored his bond that he had with Parker and his friendship with his military buddies.

"Reagan, I crave you. And I can tell you right now it isn't just because you silence my demons. I crave the peace you give me, yeah...but I crave your laugh, your love for your son..."

This was the first time I have ever ready anything by Molly McAdams and I loved it! So beautifully written. This novella tugged at my heartstrings. I could relate to Reagan and seriously Coen was the perfect person for her and Parker even if at times she didn't realize it or was too scared to see. I felt like a fly on the wall inside these people's lives and loved every second of it. I laughed, I cried, I cheered on our hero and heroine and cringed at times. I cannot wait to read more of the Sharing You series. I was generously gifted a complimentary copy of this novella in exchange for an honest review.

This is a short book or a long novella however you like to look at it, but either way it is a really fast read because it is a really good read.

Coen Steele has spent the last five years in the military and now he is out and has to learn how to be a civilian. He is a photographer and has his career goals planned out, what he doesn't have is peace of mind. Coen has seen things that haunt him and keep him from sleeping. He also doesn't have any social life, something he hopes to fix, if he meets the right person.

Reagan Hudson did not follow an easy path. Her life changed when she found out she was pregnant when she was 16 and then her boyfriend dumped her and informed her he wanted nothing to do with the baby. Reagan was determined, finished school, and got a job, which she excelled in, and supported her son on her own with her family's help. Luckily the one thing she always had was her parents and brothers love and support. The one thing Reagan knew she did not need was a man in their life. Reagan would always protect her and her son.

Reagan's family tries to set Reagan up on dates but she refuses. However her brother, who is in the military, has the perfect guy for her to go out with, his best friend, Coen. Coen and Reagan do not have an easy start. Reagan is resistant and bitchy but Coen is determined to get to know her. IT isn't long before Coen starts knocking down those walls. However with Reagan comes her son, instant family, is that something Coen is really ready for? Can Reagan trust Coen not only with her heart but her sons as well?

I loved this story and these characters. I felt for Reagan and understood where she was coming from and Coen is sweet and hot, and what a good male lead should be. There are points in the story where one of the characters would make a mistake and even though you would want them to forgive and move on you would also understand and want them to stand strong. You can't help but to love these characters, it is a sweet touching love story. I also love Molly McAdams' writing, her books suck me in and wring out all your emotions. I cannot wait to read her next in this series.

Every time I read a Molly McAdams book she just manages to leave me speechless....she writes with such emotion and feeling, and every story I read of hers she manages to capture my attention and her characters capture my heart and touch me because they seem real! Now Capturing Peace is listed as a novella but Molly's book are long ya'll...so a novella to Molly is like a full size book...and I loved it! No complaining out of this girl either way she writes, because each time she manages to include all the elements of a great story and wrap it up just right! 4.5 stars.

"Letting me help you doesn't mean you can't do this alone, Reagan. Everyone knows you can, but you shouldn't have to."

Reagan is damaged. She doesn't trust men after a high school boyfriend broke her heart and her trust. She works and raises her son and hasn't dated in six years, choosing to be an independent woman and not rely on anyone. Coen is damaged. Coen is a soldier trying to escape a traumatic event. When Reagan and Coen bump into each other accidentally there is no denying the attraction between the two, but Reagan will have none of Coen's advances. Little do these two know, there is more of a connection between them then they can imagine, and their paths will definitely cross again. Reagan and Coen quickly form a relationship but they have plenty of obstacles to battle. Capturing Peace is a novella about second chances, family, and learning to trust and let go to find love.

"I knew that I'd fallen in love with him, and anything less than forever wouldn't be enough."

"Because I found someone who chases away my demons just by looking at me. I had a girl more or less fall into my arms who can make me forget everything just by saying my name. Why wouldn't I push for this?"

It's no secret that I'm a HUGE Molly McAdams fan. If you haven't read a Molly McAdams book, add her to your TBR list....her books are a must! Capturing Peace was sexy, romantic, heartbreaking, and oh so sweet. A bit of advice....always keep tissues, wine, and chocolate handy when you read a Molly McAdams book :)

I wasn't sure what to expect with this book when I first started reading. I felt like it could be just the same old story with this theme and not set apart with its differences or it could be different, totally engaging. I'm happy to say it was the latter. This story really reached out and grabbed me from the very beginning and wouldn't let me go until the last word. I love reading stories with the theme of the tortured (by memories) vet trying to find his place in the civilian world; there's just something about the theme that appeals to me. And Coen Steele was so tortured not just by his experiences in the war but by what he perceived as his guilt in what happened over there. How he deals with all of that is kind of unique and very interesting. But despite his experiences in the war, he is sincerely just a decent guy looking for his place in the world, carving it out with his talent for taking pictures, and really, just needing to be loved. Then along comes Reagan and his world is changed forever. Okay, there were some things about Reagan that kind of turned me off - like her stand on men, for instance. There were times when I thought she was a little over the top with her view on them and her insistence on doing everything herself and not letting one in. I thought, at times, she was doing more harm to her son by shutting them out than by allowing the possibility of letting one in. Frankly, sometimes I wondered why Coen tried so hard to get her. Still, when she started to lighten up, she was much better. When Coen and Reagan get together, they just work, somehow, and they fit together, and this allows for a very beautiful, very sweet love story not just between them, but between Coen and her son Parker and the three of them as a whole. I just love how Coen interacted with Parker, it was just so sweet. Allin all, this was a beautiful, engaging, totally hot love story.

It seems that no matter what Molly releases that she always succeeds and this book is one more example. Not only do you have Reagan who was destroyed when her boyfriend dumped her when she found out she was pregnant at 16, but you have Coen, who was one tortured soul that I was pulling for throughout the book.

Reagan was one strong heroine to me in this book. Not only did she take on the responsibility of being a young mother, but she succeeded at it and you can really tell she puts her child before anyone else, including herself.

Coen was just discharged from the Army and was surrounded by his demons. He had thrown himself into his work and never thought he would find his 'peace' until his friend's sister, Reagan, came along.

Reagan and Coen have this instant chemistry that you can feel and really want them to be together. Even though they are both scared of giving their heart away, I loved seeing them struggle with their feelings and learn that the other one is what makes them whole.

This book will make you happy and sad but you can really see how much Reagan comes out of her shell with Coen and he does the same. Molly never fails to amaze me with her books and I can't wait to get more from her in the future!!

Probably 3.5 because I really liked the storyline and the characters.

To start off, I didn't like the cover, but at least it's better than the cover of Sharing You.

I think Coen and Reagan might be ones of the most likeable characters that Molly McAdams has created so far. Coen was thoughtful and supper sweet, even he was sort of an ass later on, but at least he made up for it afterward. I liked that Reagan was independent and a devoted mother.

The storyline was not much different from other new adult books, but somehow it was entertaining in its own way. I loved the ending, but it was a little rush. Oh well, it was novella so it wasn't that much of a surprise.

What I didn't like about this book was the errors. There were several of typos and I really, really annoyed when the apostrophes were missing. Please stop confuse "its" with "it's". And that one time, the author got the name mixed up and I was like what the heck.

Overall, I kinda enjoyed reading this book. Can't wait for Sharing You.

Don't take me wrong, the book is good. But when you say "It's a Molly McAdams' book" I expect nothing but amazing... And this book didn't amaze me.

It tells the story of... Jesus, what's her name? (see? It didn't make an impression). Reagan! Ok! The story begins with Reagan and how she got pregnant at the age of sixteen and her boyfriend told her to get an abortion. His words were "Get rid of it" (douchebag... Seriously, who says that?). A few years later, she's growing her son, being independent and running from guys. Being just her and her son is enough.

Coen Steele is Reagan's brother's Best friend. His time in the army was over and he's trying to get adapted in his new civilian life.

As a sucker for kids in books, this one didn't disappoint! Parker (Reagan's son) is "super cool" and super cute!

HOWEVER, the part that could be the Prologue of "Sharing you"... Well, that part made me cry a lot and made the next book sound really promising! Can't wait to read it.

I truly loved this book! It had everything I love about a book! The only reason it's not 5 stars is because there was a few things that felt left out, not that they made the story bad or anything but I could have dealt with a little more.... I'm scared to read sharing yo.... After Brody's part in this book I'm not sure I can handle it.... But I will anyways :)

Molly is one of my favorite authors, it started with taking chances and the way she can make you hate that you love her so much! But I do! I love her story's and live that she can make me feel everything I feel when I read her books! This one is my second fav book by her I haven't read sharing you so that could change, but still it's up there!

I wish that this book would have been a full novel instead of a novella. I liked the story between Coen and Reagan and their relationship blossomed and how Coen felt a connection to Parker on a subconscious level. I am also glag that Coen's demons were revealed instead of hinted at and left untold. I hope to see both of theses characters in the next book of this series.
