My Review: I am really into this series now! I have grown to love Sallis and want the best for him. I really enjoy all the characters, even with their flaws and sometimes evil or selfish ways. Heck, I even love Glyder the horse. Sallis is filled with so much goodness, it is hard to see him suffer, but I did enjoy the development of not only the storyline but of Sallis himself. I really hope the story continues because it will be hard to say goodbye to all of the characters if this is the end.

I enjoyed this series of a young boy with some unusual Gifts, even for his time and place. Although young, he was a well developed and interesting character. I liked all three books, but it was clear from the ending that there are more to come. I encourage the author to continue writing books in this series, and publish them soon.

Short

I like the trilogy but it was to short and never fully explained the sorcery the gift. Or what his gifts were and why he was shunned by his own kind
