What exactly is the difference between a robot and a human?

In a dystopian future in which robots are becoming increasingly commonplace, a young boy named Hogu lives in near poverty with his grandmother and sister. 3 Level Combination has some elements from Ha Il Kwon's other works, but the art overall isn't that good. That's the main negative of this webtoon. Other than that, the story is very touching and has the tragedy element all over it (so you've been warned!!) The story is progressing smoothly and overall is pretty great with nice character development and many leyers that unfold gradually. Finally, the ending was good, but I do like when things don't go the way they usually will, so very original indeed!

Sinceramente no entiendo porque le gusta tanto a la cultura asiática hacer historias sobre desgraciados. Bueno, desde una perspectiva narrativa es entendible,siendo el personaje un perdedor todo lo que precede va a hacerlo mejor, lo que dará al lector satisfacción de una u otra manera.

En este caso eso no pasa! y me sorprendió (Negativamente) que decidieran hacer al personaje principal un perdedor durante toda la historia, sin ninguna característica que nos permita empatizar con él. Esto tampoco sería un problema si tenemos otros personajes al rededor que nos haga de alguna manera sentirnos conectados con la historia (No tiene porque ser de forma positiva, uno también puede entender un "villano"), pero no!, no hay en toda la historia todos son unos desgraciados.

Ok, acá quiero aclarar otra cosa, no esta mal que todos sean unos desgraciados, ¿porqué no serlo?(pregunta retorica), pero la historia se nota intenta hacernos sentir pena por el protagonista y que lo entendamos como alguien no tan malo, y no!, es tan miserable como los demás. Cae en un elemento que detesto, el cual es hacer exageradamente malvados a los que lo rodean(usa el elemento "violación", algo que creo es un elemento desesperado para hacer que alguien sea malvado) para hacer al principal más bueno, para mi eso no lo hace redimible.

Casi le pongo dos estrellas porque el final me pareció muy extremo, mientras leía pensaba "¿Qué demonios?", pero al terminar todo lamentablemente no se la jugaron para decir "pasó esto", sino que lo dejaron ambiguo, si se la hubiese jugado por decir que pasó hubiese podido llegar a valorar un poco más esto.

En resumen bastante malo.

Woah man this is legit sad and yet I'm trying to sleep for an intense online exam tomorrow lol (yeah it's doing it's job making me have insomnia great...). Anyways I always felt so sorry for the Hogu character because he's bullied a lot and he doesn't have any friends to relay on. I absolutely hate that Anna character though like she doesn't help Hogu at all while he's being bullied and just hasnt got a likeable personality tbh.

I honestly wanted to see more Vrolet and Hogu like these kids are so adorable together no matter what species they are. People should definitely check out this manhwa!

Interesting Web-Toon, like the colors but the art is so-so. The Plot is good but the story has many important questions unanswered. The main Character is also very weak and pathetic. Like the dark portrayal of the society. The author still has many miles to go in all department's of making a Manhwa but enjoyed his unique style.

i must already used to ilkwon ha's style. the wide color spectrum, the bullied mc, the indifferent girl, the shocking backstory.. but it's still a treat to read.
it's still very sad to think that all other students were just standing by and do nothing when someone is bullied, which brings up the theme of this story: what's the difference between human and robot? or even which of the two is more humane...

the huge female robot is designed very... interesting. it makes me uncomfortable but also serves comedic purposes at some serious scenes.

i like that in the final chapter, your emotions will be swayed panel by panel. you'd think it'll explode. oh it's not. perhaps anna is kind after all?? and one second later-- oh no nvm.
and it took me awhile to realize that the female announcer is a robot!
and i thought grandma's illness/condition will be more important to the story.. but it isn't.

I've read this back in early 2010 and cried. I read this back in 2018 and cried. I read it today and I cried. 3 level combination is a story that is filled with tragedy. You'd think it'll be bizarre considering the futuristic premise, but its relationship between characters had been realistic and a bit dramatic. Telling the story by mouth doesn't encompass the gravity of each stone thrown towards Hogu. And although it ended in such a tragic note, I still think that it had ended quite beautifully. The only reason why I can't give it a five is because there was a forced redemption arc at the end, and the story's pacing accelerated quickly as we find ourselves at the end. I think, if it was given some time, we would've appreciated the deeper exploration of the dynamics between the three former friends and the trauma they all carry. However, I think learning about Hogu had been an enjoyable journey even with the tears.

I loved this. One of my favorite Ha Il Kwon works ever. The story was dark and disturbing at times, but that's just reality. Highly recommend, even though it is a painful read
