After reading the synopsis I thought to myself that this book is going to be worth the read. Unfortunately there was not much action throughout the book until about the last 100 pages. Overall not a bad read but the synopsis should change to add Gwendolyn and the love story that I feel the book was mostly about.

The story was entertaining enough for me but I'd never recommend it to anyone who was looking for an "ACTION ADVENTURE" book. The first 300 pages was more along the lines of a harlequin romance with a military setting. It was only the last 100 pages that had any real excitement and action. Hopefully that's enough to get people to read the book(s) that follow. Thank you to Goodreads First Reads and Ida Haig Janis for the book.

GREAT BOOK, with an unexpected twist. Ida Haig Janis pulled me into her story from the very first page. With her mix of martial arts, Navy, and boy meets girl romance, the book sped by. I look forward to the next one!
