Jingle All the Way is the tale of a loveable, obedient pup who wants nothing more than a place to call home for the holidays.
Little ones will love hearing this story as a narrator reads to them, page by page. And if he's nearby, the Jingle Story Buddy stuffed animal will respond when you read key phrases from the story.
Very short but super-cute children's book with such adorable pictures. It's about a dog named Jingle who's all alone at Christmas and what happens to him.
Loved the story and the adorable pictures but the Jingle talking feature didn't work. I tried and tried and I couldn't get it to function. Too bad, it sounded like a great idea.
This is the story of an adorable pup named Jingle who does not have a home. He hangs out near Pineville Elementary School. Suddenly the boys and girls disappear; everyplace appears deserted. Christmas break is about to begin. Sadly, Jingle falls asleep. Soon he is awakened by a most pleasant surprise visitor who changes his life forever.
The art work in this book is excellent. Unfortunately, the story text has many repetitive sentences that begin with the words but and and...not a stunning example of proper sentence structure. Also, the book is advertised as interactive. It is not made clear that one has to purchase the stuffed bear at Hallmark in order to hear the various responses of the dog when the text is read.
Basic Plot: Jingle is a puppy who wants a family of his own.
This was another free Nook download. Apparently, there is actually a toy dog you can buy that will interact with the story, but we didn't have it and my son still liked the story. Of course, he's kind of Christmas-obsessed right now and would probably have loved the story even if there were only pictures of puppies in Santa hats on all the pages. Hey, I think I may have discovered how to sell a book...
The art looked kind of like old-school claymation figures being photographed. There was a lot of detail, and it was overall really cute and a sweet story. Well worth the free download.
Jingle All The Way is an adorable story about a loveable and obedient puppy named Jingle who does not have a home. Jingle hangs around an elementary school and soon all of the boys and girls begin to disappear. Everyplace becomes empty and Jingle realizes that Christmas break is about to begin. Jingle falls asleep but soon awakens to a pleasant surprise that will change is life forever. Jingle wants nothing more than to have a family of his own. This was a very heartwarming story with a happy ending. The imagery in this book was beautiful and had an old-school feel to it. The illustrations reminded me of classic Christmas movies like Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. The animations are great and very interactive for the reader. There is a dog that can be bought to go along with the story. This Jingle buddy stuffed animal will respond when you read key phrases from the story. I noticed that Jingle did not have very much personality in the book himself. I think that you would have to buy the interactive stuffed animal in order to add that dimension to the storytelling.
This was an adorable book with cute pictures. My son loved it. About a dog called "Jingle!" Who wanted a place to call home. Awwww. Cute Christmas book.
Jingle All The Way, written by Tom Shay-Zapien, is a wonderfully interactive story book about an adorable little puppy named Jingle who does not have a home or family of his own. Because of this, he hangs out at Pineville Elementary School every day in the hopes of playing with all the kids when the bell rings. When the boys and girls disappear for Christmas break, Jingle finds that the school is empty. Sadly, Jingle falls asleep alone on a cold winter night. Soon afterwards, Jingle awakens to a pleasant surprise that changes his life forever.
What made this story so special was that you can buy a stuffed animal dog to go along with the story of Jingle. When you read key phrases from the story, the stuffed animal will respond in a fun and engaging way for little kids. Seeing that Jingle does not have much personality in the story book, it is refreshing to hear the playful stuffed animal because of the interaction it has with the audience. In addition, it adds a unique dimension to the storytelling that makes it entertaining for all ages. With clay-like figurines, the animation illustrations remind adults of classic Christmas movies such as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. With a happy ending, this heartwarming story is interactive for any family who enjoys the spirit of Christmas!
Jingle all the Way is a cute story about a dog who wants nothing more than to be with his friends and find a warm home for the holidays.
The book works in conjunction with a stuffed animal of Jingle the dog that reacts to your reading from highlighted lines in the story, which adds a truly innovative dimension to children's story telling. Each page features creative use of modeling and photography to tell this story in a life like way.
Jingle discovers if he comes around the school each day when the bell rings he gets to play with all the kids. As winter break comes along he finds that the school is empty and goes off to search elsewhere for his friends.
Still alone on the cold winter nights, this cute pup gets some help from a very special visitor.
Jingle all the Way is written by Tom Shay-Zapien.
This books chases down a rating of... 5 cozy pups snuggled in a blanket!
For several Christmas seasons I had seen this toy and book being sold for a high price so I was interested to be able to find the book for free. The story is cute, simple to follow so probably a good option for any child who is beginning to read on their own and definitely one that fits the Christmas season.
The characters including Jingle really don't have much of a personality (more than likely the personality for little Jingle came from the interactive toy) or much description to fall back on. Instead the book more or less is cause-and-effect: Jingle comes to school so the school lets out and due to school lets out he finds kids who award him. etc.
The best part of the book in my opinion is the animation illustrations that will remind adults of Gumby or the classic Christmas movies such as Rudolph with the clay-like figurines.
This book was a Christmas gift from my mother to my son. He isn't quite old enough to appreciate being read a book, but he loved the dog that came with it that makes sounds to certain lines in the book. I thought it was a cute story, and dog stories are just great. Great animations; reminds me of the old Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer movie.
My youngest son got this book along with the interactive Jingle the Husky Pup stuffed animal for Christmas. Very sweet story of a dog who needs a home and a boy who really needs a dog. This will be a holiday favorite in our house for many years to come.
Cute story of a puppy in need a home and a boy in need of a puppy. Along with the interactive stuffed puppy, it has kept my daughter entertained all year long.
