This book is a thin textbook. It has more than I’ve ever cared to know about Colorado.

This book contains an amazing amount of information. Everything you would ever need to know about Colorado is in this book. This book would be an incredible resource for any upper grade elementary or middle school classroom. For a school report on Colorado this would be a must have book. Not only does it give a full history of Colorado all the way up to present times but this book gives every fact imaginable about the state. I especially like the "Word to Know" that is frequently seen throughout the book as well as the "WOW Facts" seen on almost every page. The mix of real life photographs along with diagrams makes this not only an extremely informative book but also a pleasure to read. This is part of the "America the Beautiful" series published by Scholastic. If I were going to be a middle school teacher I would start saving now so I could buy this collection for my classroom.
