Nonfiction for young readers. An overview of how a kangaroo grows. Never mentioned “marsupials” which seems like a given with kangaroos, not where they love.

Great photos and clear, concise text. This is perfect for the pre-K to first grade set. My 3-yr-old said that the pictures of the newborn in the pouch were "gross and yucky." Oh well, the pictures really do teach a lot.
While nothing fantastic or "living", this is a solid choice and one of the better books out there for the younger kids.
