The Benevon Model for Sustainable Funding: A Step-by-Step Guide to Getting it Right

Rate this book
Designed for small to mid-sized nonprofits who want to get started implementing the Benevon Model for Sustainable Funding on their own and who want to do it right. With significant edits to nearly every page, this second edition gives you our up-to-date metrics, easy-to-follow scripts, templates, checklists, rules, and formulas. This book synthesizes Benevon s state-of-the-art work with more than 5,000 nonprofit teams of board members, volunteers, and staff and makes them available for first-time implementers. While this will not take the place of working with Benevon directly, if you are willing to take on and carefully follow the tried and tested directions here, you will avoid the biggest mistakes of self-implementation, and you will be rewarded with a breakthrough in sustainable funding for your favorite nonprofit organization.

Extremely informative handbook to the Benavon model. The tone of the author is obnoxious and off-putting. However the core information is invaluable, well explained, and resourceful.

I admit I didn't read this book cover to cover, but the sections I did read were brilliant! This is a wildly beneficial guide to fundraising. Really, the model they lay out could be applied to a for-profit or a non-profit.

I appreciated the information on the follow up and how to attract more donors once a contact is made. Not to mention, they advice on dealing with rejection and avoiding pushiness.

I really suggest this book for anyone starting an organization.

Very valuable and well done.
