The book was actually ok if you want to learn more about how to take care of your skin and how to actually slow down aging. It also gives a lowdown on the different treatments you can undergo, be it surgical or non-surgical.

What I liked:
1) the author actually tells the readers the appropriate stuff to put in his/her skin (be it oily, dry or combination skin type)
2) the author also makes it a point to inform readers the possible advantages and disadvantages of a procedure or taking medication
3) there is a part during the end of the chapter that tells the reader he gist and the important facts to be retained from the chapter

What I didn't like:
1) there was a lack of discussion of skin diseases (e.g. dandruff and other hair diseases and cures was not explained enough)

Basic, simple, great. Just what I would look for in a book with that title. I love the complete idiot series.
