Good overview of the wedding photography business, so far as I can tell. As the title would indicate, the author speaks from the digital perspective, thereby allowing him to better concentrate on one of two camps. He walks through all the aspects of the business I could think to want from a book like this...he talks about equipment, what kind of shots you want to be sure to get, considerations to be made in getting those shots, the business side of the operation, even suggestions for setting up an office (down to wall color, which is something I hadn't thought of but can see why it would be important).
Overall, if you're looking to get into this business, I think this book is an excellent place to begin.
An incredibly informative book, not just about wedding photography, but photography in general. Easily the most comprehensive book I've read on any subject without ever being boring or stuck on unnecessary detail.
Although I initially borrowed it from the library I was so impressed I went out and bought a copy to keep as a reference.
I think it's a great book for someone getting into the digital wedding photography industry.. but no for one who's a veteral. It does have alot of content, great section on lighting but nothing too new or refreshing!
A very good book to help get to grips with wedding photography as a beginner or as a pro. I have highlighted some sections which I like to read as a reminder the night before I have to get to a job. Some good topics on good practices and things to generally avoid.
