Rate this book
Taylor Caldwell is a sixteen year old who’s struggling with her own personal demons. Constantly feeling left out and struggling with depression, Taylor frequently looks toward the worst in life, with the exception of her high school crush, Mason. When assigned to a project with Mason, Taylor is surprised when their relationship grows much bigger than expected, and the young couple ultimately decides to marry. Disowned by her family yet saved from her old ways, Taylor soon enters the happiest time in her life…until it all begins to crumble. As her newfound life falls to pieces around her, Taylor must fight to find purpose or succumb to the darkness surrounding her because, as Mason states, "truth is we are all tragedies waiting to happen; we just have to remember to have the rescue crew nearby when it strikes."

This book is told from 3 POV's. Mason and Peyton, who are cousins and Taylor, the girl they both love.

It took me a little bit to get into the story but once I did I was hooked. It reminded me of a soap opera. Have you ever seen someone watch one? My best friend does and at times she gets so frustrated she'll be yelling at the tv "Wtf are you thinking?" but she can't stop watching them. There are a lot of them moments in this, a lot of them revolve around Taylor.

Taylor is a girl looking to be loved which I think is some of how she makes her decisions. When her and Mason are put on a school project together they move their relationship way to fast. When they start having problems she turns to Peyton, who is also her best friend, for comfort.

This is one of the most touching, happy and depressing books I've ever read.

The ending was incredible. I saw part of it coming but not everything and I was shocked by how it turned out. I will definitely be reading the sequel.

I was sent a copy by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you.

First off I want to say do not judge this book by the first 50 Pages!, I did and was truly wrong about the book! I think everyone should read this! It will give you a new perspective on life, family, friends and even people you don't like.. it will teach the readers about forgiveness, and even the signs of suicide, I won't sugar coat anything, this is a depressing very sad book. But the happy times these wonderful Characters had made up for all of that.

I really loved the multiple POV's, I prefer to know how everyone's feeling in a book instead of just getting a view from one person. The way this book is written makes it very different from most books. I love it's creativity.

I enjoyed every character in this book for their own uniqueness even though I did not agree with a lot of the things they did, everyone makes mistakes though, they are what friends, brothers, and boyfriends are suppose to be..

And all I have to say about that ending is

I can't wait to read the sequel "RED" to see how things go after this ending!

I want to thank the author S. Elle Cameron for allowing me to read and review her great book :).

This book was nothing like I expected which is a fantastic thing. There's not too much I can say about this book without giving away most of the plot, but it's mostly an emotional drama. Although there was a relatively slow start to the book, once it got going, it just didn't stop. For some reason (regardless of the title), I went into this book thinking it was going to be a light, cute read. Man, was I wrong! This book makes you feel every emotion possible, from anger to annoyance to extreme sadness. Although the writing wasn't the best, it did its job of conveying the stories of each of the characters. There are so many dark topics that are touched on within this book, so I recommend it to older teens who are looking for intense emotional books.
