Haunted Houses of Pasadena
Limited to 1000 copies, signed & numbered by author. This is the author's 3rd printing of his first edition and it was his 2nd book. Filled with history, legends and lore, Michael J. Kouri was the first person to chronicle and investigate these allegations that the historical city of Pasadena, California was haunted. Since then this author has written and published over 50 titles including his newest book: The Ghost of Walt Disney & Me (2014), Haunted Houses of Hollywoodland (2013)True Haunting's on California Highways-Ghostly Motorcycle Riders of the West(2005)and many more. Haunted Houses of Pasadena was a research project that lasted nearly 20 years while Michael J. Kouri turned over every stone, crawled deep into caves where miners once searched for gold during the gold rush era. He spent thousands of hours interviewing old timers, searched in libraries, and read thousands of books penned by authors before him with their historical information on the Rose Parade famed city. This book ended up selling more than 5000 copies and it catapulted this author to Parapsychological Stardom Status among his colleagues in the paranormal world.

Mr. Kouri is a phenomenal author-I love his books and have read all 61 titles he has written during his illustrious career. Many of his books are small and don't have ISBN numbers, and are only available on his website, or can be found on Ebay and other sites, but his work is fascinating. He is a very talented man in many ways not just as an author, but as a psychic medium, a soloist, pianist, humanitarian, founder of several antique toy clubs, and is a fine human being. One of the aspects I find most entertaining with his books, is that many are written as if we the reader are having a private conversation with the author. He writes the way he talks in person at his lectures, which are always standing room only. I initially hired this author after having seen him interviewed by Meredith Vieira on Barbara Walters daytime chat show The View and he was "right on" when meeting with my husband, and family as we tried contact my deceased father to find important documents he'd hidden during his lifetime for safe keeping, that we needed before closing escrow on his home. We were absolutely astounded when we met with Mr. Kouri who not only gave us incredibly accurate information related to my father (that no one could ever know except a member of our immediate family) Even my doubting husband was shocked at the accuracy of the information Michael's keen psychic abilities presented to us that day. Michael found the deeply hidden documents just by talking with my deceased father in our presence. No other psychic medium could do this for us. We'd already hired 3 before him, who gave us nothing close to the distinct accurate information Michael J. Kouri provided.
I recently saw this author at a Sci-Fi convention and have met many other fans of his who are as memorized with him from the get go as I was. He not only shares his encounters with his audience, but allows them to ask questions, and interact with him. Michael J. Kouri is a fine speaker, and I know you'll enjoy his books as much as my family and I have through the years. We've taken his Historical Ghost Tours at Disneyland, in Pasadena, Ca., at several of the creepy old Missions in Southern California, at Alcatraz and aboard the Queen Mary Ship in Long Beach, California and can hardly wait for his next books to come out, and new ghost tours, as well. Michael J. Kouri should have his own television show, too.
Another book written by Michael J. Kouri, I really found fascinating was The Ghost of Walt Disney & Me. Mr. Kouri's Incredible dedication to detail, investigations of the historic homes, businesses, studios and theme parks is unlike most books written by the American legendary story teller. I bought the extra large edition, which includes 2 extra chapters. This book was dedicated to Marc and Alice Davis, two members of Walt Disney's favorite Imagineers. Marc was one of Walt's famed 9 old men, and he greatly encouraged Michael J. Kouri to write this book. Michael's acknowledgement page includes the Who's Who list of Disney employees, artists, world famous actors, movie stars, royalty, Disney family members, and other people who've written books about Mr. Disney. But in truth Michael J. Kouri captured the true essence of Walt Disney, the Man, instead of the Brand most people around know the Disney name for.

I loved this book and couldn't put it down. I've met Mr. Kouri in person several times. I've taken his Haunted Houses of Pasadena Tour, heard him lecture at several venues and had a private reading with him and I found his psychic abilities to be phenomenal! I don't live my life by what Psychic's tell me, and with Michael, his readings aren't like that at all. He doesn't use a crystal ball, Tarot cards or any typical gadgets or tools as common fortune tellers do...Michael connects with "our" spirit guides and translates their words and information to his clients. If he can't answer your question, he simply tells you so, and we move on to the next one. I was stunned when Michael mentioned a very unusual name, and told me that this person was around me a lot.
He also told me things he couldn't have possibly known about me - unusual things. For one, he knew my Russian grandmother's real name and he mentioned words to me, that only a Russian born person would know, it's totally a language he doesn't speak and the words came out in an old fashioned style and tone, that isn't used anymore, yet it was exactly the way my grandmother would say them. He also told me that my grandmother used to love to do certain things with me and my mother, that I've never told anyone about, not even my husband. So how on earth did Michael know these things? I believe my grandmother was with us during my reading with him. No other psychic I've ever been to has ever given me such accurate information on the normal aspects of my life before Michael J. Kouri.
No psychic or medium can read people 100% accurately all the time, and since they are human, I'm sure they have off times, too. But with me Michael J. Kouri has come pretty close to being 100% accurate each time he has read me.
I was highly recommended to him by several of my colleagues who work in the entertainment industry in Hollywood and New York. They all gave Michael rave reviews of his ability to "read" them clearly and with much accuracy. One of these women was shocked that Michael knew exactly where she could find her lost house keys, even though he'd never been to her house. She'd called him the day after her session over the telephone telling him she'd lost them and was frantic to find them again. Michael told her he'd meditate on it and within an hour, he called her back, told her where to look and with him on the phone, she found the keys, wedged in between some heavy boxes, in the exact spot he told her to look, near Jasper ware blue walls in her foyer. ow did Michael know that the walls of her foyer were painted like Wedgewood Jasper Ware Blue? He'd never been to her home. We both feel this is pretty AMAZING! She lives in New York and he's all the way across the country in Los Angeles. Michael has read for many movie stars, royalty, and average people alike throughout his career and has many repeat clients who love his books, as well as his ghost tours.
The first time I met him, I'd never heard of him or read his books, but listening to him talk of his amazing life, and sharing his personal encounters with the supernatural world was mesmerizing and I started to see an Aura around him. I asked my girlfriend if she could see it and she could only see white light where I saw gold around him. Michael lightly read the audience and called on me and seemed to instantly know that I'd lost my favorite pet, a Golden Retriever, to Kidney Cancer. My friend and my husband looked at me in astonishment because there was no way in the world Michael could have known this before he met us. He also described some special bedding we had custom made for the dog and told us that the dog told him that he was very appreciative of our special bond that our family had with this dog of 25 years. Again, it was Amazing!
Michael is an awesome story teller and all of his books are as fascinating as he is. I highly recommend Haunted Houses of Pasadena, Haunted Houses of Monrovia, and Haunted Houses of Hollywoodland, too. If you love a good ghost story, you're going to fall in love with this author and his unique style of writing and sharing his true life adventures with the ghosts who haunt the earth.
Now I can hardly wait for his new book to come out called: The Ghost of Walt Disney and Me, due for release on Halloween day of 2014. I'm sure it will be as fantastic as all of his books are.

Haunted Houses of Pasadena is by far my most famous book to date. I thoroughly enjoyed writing it and investigated over one thousand so called Haunted houses and historical sites, then took 100 of the most interesting experiences and wrote them in my book.
It has been so incredibly popular, it's now going into its 5th printing this summer and it's sequel "More Haunted Houses of Pasadena" is soon to follow.

I think I'm still the only True Psychic Medium in the world who writes and publishes his own books. I'm not just a Psychic person, I can actually see, hear and communicate with spirits and have done so since I was 8 years old. In my past, I was part of a study of Psychic children held by Dr. Thelma Moss PhD., out of the UCLA campuses and through Thelma, I learned what my "gifts" were for and the proper way to use them. There have been times when I've offered private readings that people don't hear what they want to hear, instead I give them spiritual information about their lives, why they are here and what they're supposed to be doing with their lives, but that just doesn't seem to satisfy them, and they claim my gifts are questionable.
But in the "real" Paranormal world, no psychic or Medium or Psychic Medium for that matter has all the answers or can read people as exacting as the potential clients hope they can. No one should ever live by what any psychic tells you. You are in control of your own destiny and should live by your dreams, and hard work. If you ever hear of someone claiming to be psychic and 100% Accurate "RUN!" LOL
In my books, I spend countless hours researching in libraries and book stores, interviewing people who live in or near the site/house, in question to get a better understanding and to give you my readers a better idea of why the site/house could be haunted. I write my books the way I would like to "read" other authors books on the subject and began writing after reading dozens of other "Ghost" books where the authors never seemed to "finish" their stories. What did they do to help the families who lived in the homes, or how did they try to help the spirit? and stuff like that. In my books you'll read [the beginning] why the site is rumored to be haunted, [the history] what has occurred on the site to prompt those living or working within it to believe it could be haunted [the Paranormal Research] and [the end] how the situation was solved, what we found after investigating, and more.
I believe my gifts were bestowed upon me by God just as my gifts to sing and play various musical instruments as I have most of my life without training. I take a down to earth approach with my all of my projects including my books and know my fans enjoy them from the thousands of emails I receive each week.

It's a fun book to read. But I met the "psychic/medium" and I'm questioning his "gift"
