[Siren Ménage Everlasting: Erotic Ménage a Trois Romance, M/F/M, HEA]
Antoinette ‘Toni’ DeLuca owns the coffee shop, Bliss. She doesn’t trust easily—she has her reasons—and then she meets two billionaires who want to share her. The idea is completely arousing, but she has her reservations. Emerson Pierce and Stone Ryder appear too good to be true.
Her ex won’t leave her alone. He wants the business, and so does his criminal type family. She lies to protect her heart. But Emerson and Stone, two billionaires who want her, lie to protect their hearts as well. In mass confusion, everyone is a suspect in her demise. With the help of their family and friends, Emerson, Stone and Toni come clean so they can be together. But ultimately it’s the one person they dismissed too early that threatens to end their lives.
People seem to be more interested in my name than where I get my ideas for my stories from. So I might as well share the story behind my name with all my readers.
My momma was born and raised in New Orleans. At the age of twenty, she met and fell in love with an Irishman named Patrick Riley Dwyer. Needless to say, the family was a bit taken aback by this as they hoped she would marry a family friend. It was a modern day arranged marriage kind of thing and my momma downright refused.
Being that my momma’s families were descendents of the original English speaking southerners, they wanted the family blood line to stay pure. They were wealthy and my father’s family was poor.
Despite attempts by my grandpapa to make Patrick leave and destroy the love between them, my parents married. They recently celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary.
I am one of six children born to Patrick and Lynn Dwyer. I am a combination of both Irish and a true southern belle. With a name like Dixie Lynn Dwyer it’s no wonder why people are curious about my name.
Just as my parents had a love story of their own, I grew up intrigued by the lifestyles of others. My imagination as well as my need to stray from the straight and narrow made me into the woman I am today.
Antoinette "Toni" Deluca as no interest in getting involved with another man, her last boyfriend seemed more intent on getting the property her bakery is on then her. Although he has not given up, Toni doesn't want to feel that vulnerable again.
Emerson Pierce is needing a coffee and snack, when he happens upon a delightful bakery called Bliss. The stunning barista catches his eye immediately but he believes she is too young and probably would use him for his money like the other women in his life. When he shares this detail with Stone Ryder, his best friend, Stone is intrigued enough to help Emerson make a decision and seek her out again.
Emerson is hooked where Toni is concerned, now he has to figure a way to introduce her to Stone and hopefully find a partner they both can love. Toni is receptive but when all three confess to what they are hiding, it may destroy their new found relationship before it even has a chance.
I liked this one a lot, of course I am a sucker for books that showcase food. Toni is a fun character, she is tough and not willing to be put in a vulnerable position again. Emerson and Stone both have issues with trust where women are concerned, especially now that they have a women who is turning out to be a stalker, but they know that Toni is it for them now they just have to convince her.
What Worked For Me: I freaking LOVED Toni. I don’t know why this character appealed to me so much but she has to be one of my most favorite written heroines…ever. And her coffee/pastry shop? Let’s just say I would love to have someone here locally create a place that sounded as warm and inviting as Bliss. Toni had moments where I thought she was completely too stubborn for her own good but she’s so charming and flirtatious I didn’t even care. Emerson and Stone have to also be some the most inventive men when it comes to subterfuge and hiding their identity. They are rich, accomplished and every time Stone opened his mouth, my panties got wet. Throw together these three and you get some pretty intense and erotic encounters that make you forget that you aren’t actually in the book….you are simply reading it. Then we have our villains. I’m beginning to think that Ms. Dwyer is a pure genius when it comes to creating crazy, off-the-hook villains and one of these is completely off their rocker! Throw in a fast moving and entertaining plot and again, some zany and crazy secondary characters and you have the perfect recipe for another outstanding book.
What Didn’t Work For Me: I know that keeping secrets was part of the premise of this book but these characters are masters of secret keeping and lying. While it was resolved and even understood, I expected confessions sooner than they actually happened.
Wow what a story. Three people all unwilling to trust and open up about themselves, each afraid the other will only want the other for what they have and not the person they are. Loved the fact this one had a different twist with the mafia ties. Toni such a sweet and good girl trying to make it with her little coffee/bakery and her sleaze of an ex Vince and his family won't leave her alone. Even after all they put her through she is still a good person. I love Stone he doesn't mince words especially when he wants something. Emerson is also a great guy as well little more reserved. All in all another great book in a series leaves you wanting the next one in the series to come. You Rock Dixie!
This story was just eh for me. I never saw the connection between the three and I thought the heroine was way too stubborn. She needed a good spanking. lol
