The Amazon Rainforest still contains a few secrets.
One of these secrets is a hidden village of women whose history is filled with the horror of conquering men. When the princess of the Amazons falls in love with a weretiger biologist, the tiny village will be changed forever.
This collection contains the four previously published novellas in the Amazon Chronicles series: Jungle Heat, Jungle Fire, Jungle Blaze, and Jungle Burn.

The Amazon Chronicles contains four novellas that are a quick and fun read. It tells both the perspective of the characters which is enjoyable.
Jungle Heat: Tells the story of the Amazonian princess Adara and Rei's meeting. How Rei desires Adara as his mate. The feelings for the both of them grew quickly despite Adara's reluctance in the beginning. She may be naive but she has a strong character and Rei is quite a patient weretiger. Although they have to overcome an obstacle from the werepumas who is jealous of Rei and Adara's mating.
Jungle Fire: Tells the story of Kyle, the leader of the werepumas/ Rei's friend and Rubia, the childhood friend of Adara. In this story, Kyle wants Rubia as his mate and Rubia has conflicting emotions were Kyle is concerned. Although that doesn't stop Kyle from pursuing her until trouble starts brewing within the werepumas because of Kyle's pursuit.
Jungle Blaze: Tells the story of Eduardo, the second-in-command of the werepumas and Sol. Sol wants to find a mate in the werepumas like the other Amazonians but she feels that she is of no importance and the were puma who has captured her attention doesn't even noticed her until one evening and when he finally noticed her, Eduardo didn't want her as a mate. Eduardo has his own secret which makes him doesn't want to be in a relationship until he meets Sol. Unfortunately, despite ignoring what he feels for Sol, his beast know what it wants especially when he needs to overcome his fear to mate in order not lose Sol.
Jungle Burn: Tells the story of the children of the previous couples. Sabina, the daughter of Adara and Rei; Tiago, the son of Kyle and Rubia; and Rafael the son of Eduardo and Sol. Although it focuses more on Sabina's and Rafael's feelings for one another despite it being unknown to them until an opportunity for Rafael opens up. The fourth novella actually makes me crave more despite it being the last installment of the series.
The Amazon Chronicles: A Collection, contains four novellas. They are Jungle Heat Jungle Fire, Jungle Blaze, and Jungle Burn. These are paranormal romances that take place around a tribe a of warrior women. In Jungle Heat we meet many of the characters that appear throughout the series. Adara is a Princess of the Amazons. The Amazons are a tribe of warrior women. Adara meets Andrei (Rei) when she is outside her village. Rei is a weretiger. Rei wants Adara to be his mate. Adara character is very naive. Rei and Adara's characters fit very well together. Jungle Fire is Kyle and Rubia's story. Kyle is the ruler of the werepumas. Kyle wants Rubia as his mate, this causes trouble for him as the ruler of the werepumas. Jungle Blaze continues with characters we have previously meet. This is Eduardo and Sol's story. Edaurdo is the second in command for the werepumas. He likes Sol but doesn't want to mate. In Jungle Blaze we find out if he is able to overcome his fear of mating before it's too late. Jungle Burn is the story of children from the couples in the first three stories. It was a great way to end to series but it also left it open for more. All four stories were very short. Read together they were great. I enjoyed reading about the characters. 4 Amazeballs Stars!
My Thoughts: I enjoyed each of the short stories. I like how the characters intermingle within each other's story. The characters are interesting. The emotions run strong throughout all the stories. I felt that I didn't have a grip on the timeframe or the passage of time during the book, it appeared as if "true love"was quick to come to each couple, but that could have just been me. Each short story has the mating theme, so this isn't a young reader anthology - mature readers only. I have always been a softie for a happy ending, so this short story anthology fit that.
