THE POODLE TALES: THE MODELING POO by Toni Tuso Faber is an exciting Children's Books/Animals/Modeling. I suggest ages 6-9. #9 in "The Poodle Tales", but can be read as a stand alone.
"A portion of every Poodle Tales production will be donated to a reputable charitable organization"
Twelve poodles who grow older each week, find they can do anything they set their minds too. The illustrations are beautiful, the storyline is engaging as well as entertaining. A quick, sassy read for all ages. These poodles are so cute, they are adorable. A fun read for young readers who enjoy playing dress-up, and for those who are interested in the modeling career. A great read! Received for an honest review from the publicist and/or author.

The Modeling Poo: Book Nine in The Poodle Tales, by Toni Tuso (Mindstar Media, 2013, 20 pages, $10.99)
Poodle Power!
Available through Amazon as well as Barnes and Noble, The Poodle Tales series introduces an adorable premise but an unfulfilled promise. Toni Tuso will publish a new book in the series every 60 days – 24 in all – an admirable feat! In addition, each is written in rhyme (a bit stilted and no Dr. Seuss here, but a commendable elementary attempt, nonetheless).
The Modeling Poo
Book 9: The Modeling Poo stars Vogue, the silver-bowed poo (poodle), and is the most recent Poo book (2013). Vogue is a while poodle, one of a dozen in a litter of many colors – white, brown, apricot, black, silver, black with white, and black with spots. This book will appeal to the little girl whose favorite color is pink and who wants to be a princess when she grows up – or a modeling poo, if she can say that word with a straight face. However, it is not a book for the independent reader since it contains big words (multi-syllabic). I would also recommend that adults who want to read the Poo books to children to first practice out loud in order to find the correct rhythm of the rhymes.
Will Vogue be a Modeling Success?
Vogue carefully selects her outfits to model and accessorize, and practices for the big modeling show, hoping to be a success in the eyes of her brothers and sisters. She even wears high heels.
Bonuses
I love the all-inclusive colors of poodles and how each one will have a book. On www.thepoodletales.com, your child can play poodle games, color poos, and join the Poodle Club, adopting his or her own poodle. The website also has the poodle song and dance plus a music video.
The Series
Book 3: The Poodle Talent Show begins the story of how the poodles, as older pups, choose their families and introduces us to the various poodle-pups and their special talents which include a large nose on the poo who becomes a detective, a shy poo who becomes a ballerina and Vogue, the poo who loves to dress up and, therefore, becomes a model in the ninth book.
I only hope that future titles depict service poodles and therapy poos and SAR (search and rescue) poos, as well as cute-career pups.

I was thankful and excited to win on Goodreads giveaway. The author also signed the copy.
I loved the "Modeling Poo" of the Poodle Tales series, book 9, which this poodle struts the latest fashions on the runway. A diva pup who walks in heels is a steal! Once she finishes the modeling gig, she shares her accessories and clothing for others to showcase their diva poses for the cameras.
The story was short, sassy, and sensual for all the little princesses and future children models to strut what the Good Lord gave them. I believe this book will also display class, self-esteem, and surely put a smile on the child's face, because it did for me. I also enjoy watching Fashionista, and other Fashion reality TV shows. The illustrations are simply gorgeous too.
Little Poodle puppy has always dreamed of being a model. Her biggest dream was to have a runway show and star in her show. She carefully picked out each outfit and set the stage. The rest of the book tells all about her runway show.
The illustrations are cute and funny. My five year old daughter loved this book. She's read it through several times and I've found her just looking at all of the details in the pictures. We haven't seen the previous eight books, but this didn't seem to affect the story at all. The story was sweet and sends the message that you can be anything you want to be with hard work and the right attitude. My daughter is requesting we get the rest of the books in this series.
I received this book free of charge from Kelley & Hall Book Publicity in exchange for my honest review.
I got this book as a part of the 'first reads' program-- I highly recommend trying it out, it's great fun!
My 5 year old girl read this although I think it's probably for the 6-9 year old set because of the difficulty of words. Would be a great read aloud for any little(r) girl (or boy!) who likes to play dress up!
In this book, a happy go lucky pup who loves to dress up fulfills a dream of modeling for all her friends. Written in rhyme, it's great for kids learning how to sound out harder words, because they'll know that the book goes in a certain rhythm and can come to predict the sound that will come at the end of the sentence, great for those who need a confidence boost!

I couldn't relate to this one as I could to the Ballerina Poodle, but I still enjoyed it very much. This is written in the form of a poem, and is nice to read. I love how it had a 'lesson' at the end. It was that you can accomplish anything, no matter who you are. An adorable book for young girls, I also think adults could enjoy this.
Very cute story, perfect book for my diva 7yr granddaughter. Her birthday is this Saturday, she'll love this book.. I won this in a giveaway.. Nice win
