Pack Shaman and wolf shifter, Reece, has been mated to Sean for years. Even though their love for each other is true…there has always been something left unspoken, something missing between them.
With Sean’s hybrid body warring between his vampiric thirst and his wolf’s need, he can’t believe it when the one thing he secretly wants yet can’t give his mate literally falls into his arms. How is he going to hold it together long enough to understand and accept the cost it brings, when all he can think about is getting five minutes alone with Reece?
I am a mum of five boys, who lives at the beach in a little Northern NSW town in Australia. I have been writing erotic and gay romance exclusively for EXtasy Books for the past ten months, and love it.
I have a passion for all genre's, particularly gay paranormal and sci-fi, and write within each. I especially love the underdog--the characters who think they are unworthy, or have been cast aside as being undeserving of love. They will not only find a home within my books, but find their happily ever after as well.
I have several books in the works, and hope to share the news of their impending releases in time as well.
Pack shaman and wolf shifter Reece has been mated to wolf/vampire hybrid Sean for years. Passion between them is still sizzling hot, but there's one unfulfilled wish each of them shares.(Spoiler alert). A desire for a child to call their own. This wish is suddenly fulfilled when they rescue the pregnant bear shifter Tehya and agree to fulfill her dying wish to adopt her child as their own and raise her as part of their clan.
The writing is compelling and I was immediately drawn into this new paranormal world. I read the book in a single sitting, unable to put it down. The relationship between Reece and Sean was well-developed and delightfully erotic. I'm not usually a big M/M romance fan, but the sex between Reece and Sean brought my blood near the boiling point! I felt emotionally attached to Reece, Sean and Tehya almost right away because Cross didn't rush through introducing the characters - the fault I often find in shorter works. Don't miss this delightful novella. It's a big time winner. I'm glad Cross left room for a possible sequel and I hope she writes it soon.
