CONTAINS SOME SPOILERS.

Oh wait Dallas Knox, you are attempted to be killed every hour!

I was lured into reading the first book to this series because I stumbled upon the amazing cover for the sequel, Saving Dallas. I found out fast how much I really hated the writing style of these book as well as every character. They all just felt fake and I couldn't relate to anyone. Did I waste my precious time finishing this entire series and hating it more with every page turn? Yes. Yes I did. What's even more crazy to me is how high of a rating each book got. If I could rate this zero stars, I would do it in a heartbeat. It was THAT bad.

Dallas Knox is described to be this gorgeous, filthy rich, spoiled brat from the very beginning. Okay, got it. But did I really have to be reminded of that all the time the entire series with everyone, I mean EVERYONE, wanting a piece of her?

Kim Jones just had to go and make Charlie, a 40 year old man I might add, be infatuated with Dallas too? Let's not forget that she has this complicated love-hate relationship with him. I was about ready to slap her when she said

REALLY?! Are you crazy?!! He made her KILL someone and that's the first thought she has when she's finally free? She's crazy. And let's not ignore the fact that because of that thought, she does something really stupid. I mean seriously. Can you get any more stupid, Dallas?

Her dumb decision earns her a not so happy Luke who's ready to spank her. So he does. And it was horrific. There was BLOOD. That's my cue to leave the book alone for a few days and conclude that Luke is crazy. How she accepted that he was right for spanking her, I don't know. She's delusional. That must be it.

This brings me to her bi-polar feelings for Luke. She's constantly contemplating on whether it's better to leave him or stay with him because she's "in love" with him from the moment she met him, ignoring the fact that he physically punishes her to the point that she's in tears. Love?

Of course she's not only bi-polar towards her relationship with Luke, but being a submissive as well. One minute she's high on him being this alpha male dominant who gives out punishment sex, then the next second she turns into Medusa when he says something simple as "Stay inside while I'm gone." She goes off on this rampage about him being too controlling. Then she has time to cool off and comes to terms that he's just looking out for her safety. But of course that doesn't stop her from throwing more tantrums over and over again endlessly.

Then there's the issue with how fast and easy it was for her to accept her new "family" that she could easily "die for" and yet she was jealous of so many of them because she thought they had a thing for Luke. I was exasperated at how many times she pulled out the "I'm jealous of everyone" card.

Thank god I'm done with this series. This was the first book I read about motorcycles clubs and just motorcycles overall. Kim Jones did NOT give me a good impression of these books. Now that I'm finished, all I can do is celebrate the end of this stupid book.

So that wasn’t me.

Like… at all.

I felt like Dallas talked a big talk but didn’t have anything to back it up.
She whined. Got jealous. Got nervous. Got embarrassed. She just annoyed me.
The whole “I can handle this, I am not weak” got old real quick because she didn’t prove herself to be strong.
At least not in my book.
And the reasoning for some of the things that happened did not sit well with me.
Look. I am not against a punishment that’s considered a little darker. But ehm.. I was not particular fond of the reaction AFTER the belt scene.

I also strongly disliked her “sisterhood”. I did not see what Ms. Kim Jones wanted to portray as a sisterhood. To me they felt like backstabbing old ladies & always trying to set another one up to fall. No trust.
I didn’t get the sense of family. And that is one of the things I adore most about the MC genre. And when I missed that… well… then you are getting a low rating.

I don’t mind a foul language, but some of these things were just mean.
I know this is gonna sound stupid because it’s an MC book but I missed a little class.
Like you can tell your old lady to shut up, but at least don’t make her feel small when you do it. Then to me it’s not on the “ that’s so dominating and sexy-“ way.

We got some really hot scenes between Luke & Dallas (bathroom scene was my fave), but I am not feeling them as a couple.
I especially did not like them hiding things and lying to each other. This is book 3. Aren’t we over that?
So yeah.
A total miss for me. ☺️

I was disappointed with how Saving Dallas Forever turned out. I can't help but be annoyed with Dallas in this book. She was such a huge disappointment to me, like she really wasn't fit to be by Luke side. I can't figure out how Dallas can change so much from books 1 & 2 and not for the better. I had to stop reading after a lot of scenes, that's how annoyed I was. I really loved Saving Dallas and Making the Cut but unfortunately Saving Dallas Forever didn't work for me.

The Hero beats the h with a belt and she is angry at him for about 5 min and then just explains it away as a spanking and he did a right thing . Since she was the one who did a mistake. Add to it her frinds think its funny.

Dallas may have been the queen of chess photo Queenofchess2.jpg but after book three, I am totally convinced, she was nothing more then a pawn!
 photo Queenofchess.jpg
Throughout the trilogy Dallas was lied to, betrayed by everyone closest to her. And Luke you may think this biker is the hero, the ultimate love of her life, but hell he is just as bad as everyone else. Their entire meeting and getting together was a farce, a shamble of a relationship. Yes he plays the whole white knight and shining armor coming to her damsel in distress, but nothing was ever sufficiently dealt with. Nothing! Everything that happens to her with the big exception of life altering events, were callously swept under the rug, ignored... forgotten with lusty sex. Man ooooo man was that part smokin!!!
 photo Luke.jpg
As far as I'm concerned, Luke is also the bad guy. Everything he does was for his own gain. Money, creating businesses for his brothers and the club. The way he throws Dallas into his world and manipulates her, is infuriating. I had more respect for Charlie, than Luke. Could I love either of these men... hell to the big fat NO! But at least with Charlie, he stepped up to the plate when he wanted something. The man wasn't ashamed of the things he did. He enjoyed the art of head games, freely demonstrated them. Then later pointed out how ignorant everyone was for not seeing them. Luke through and through is a hard ass biker. Nice, loving and wonderful, but he's also a manipulative, controlling, condescending lying bastard. I love his character, truly I do. But his lies; when he expects honesty from Dallas. Give me a break!
I'm down with the whole BDSM, who doesn't enjoy a good spanking with a belt, ridding crop or cane? But he deliberately hurt her in a fit of rage. Excuse me, reality check here! This chick has never been hit in her life! She was practically born with a diamond studded spoon in her mouth! And suddenly she's forgiving... bullshit!
 photo Dallas.jpg
How far does Luke's acts of betrayal go? What other secrets is he hiding, who else is in on it? So many unanswered questions, and too many unresolved issues. I hope the author does another book to address them.

I am so glad I have finally finished this book! Ugh! When Luke beat Dallas with a belt, it ruined the entire series for me. Why would you do that to a "knight in shinning armor." I would have given it a 5 star rating if that scene wasn't in the book.

Would have been a higher rating but due to something that happened in the book I couldn't give more than two stars. It totally changed what I thought of Luke and I couldn't get it out of my mind.

SPOILER ALERT

Here are my comments from while I was reading...
At 39%… OMG!!! What he just did was no different from beating her with his hands!!! This wasn't a sexual experience. This isn't a BDSM relationship!!! He just released his anger!!!!! I would kick him to the curb!!

At 40 %…WTH!!! How can the author justify what he did??? Umm...Heck No!!! I am so disappointed!!

Then to top it all off, from Luke, "She needed to be taught a lesson, and I wasn't a man who put my hands on a woman, I had to find a way to let her know I was tired of her sh°t. Spanking her brought out my dominant demons, but at least I got my point across." Um...this act was no different than using your hands. A beating is a beating!!

I was enjoying the book until this went down. She didn't deserve that!!! And then for it to be a joking matter in the book?? Really??

Another thing, Maddie is never with Logan!!

The ending was so different from the rest of the book. Having Dallas handle that on her own wasn't believable. No way Luke wouldn't have been there spying or something!!!Then letting Jeff and Charlie's men go???

I love Dallas and Luke and I'm glad to have shared their journey. There are parts of this book that I loved, some I couldn't really care much. But this certainly satisfies your need for their HEA. There was a scene that got me tearing up, another had me laughing, and one that had me at the edge of my seat. Not to forget the Epilogue that gives you closure.

Dallas has grown even more here by learning and accepting the biker's way and proving that she belongs. She made a real stupid decision at the beginning of the book, which I couldn't really grasp as to why she would go there after what she went through with that person. And her nightmares... seems like it's been dealt with... somehow...

And Luke, well, he is hot as always. He did a pretty stupid thing towards Dallas, I didn't like him much with that. But I gotta give it to him, he didn't so much as apologize with words, but he made amends instead, worth a thousand more than words of apologies. But still.... I get why the reaction of those who are mad about it...

As for Red and her POV... I'm not so sure yet... her story does sound interesting, can't wait to hear about it Summer 2014!

This book is written in multi POV.

Best of the three!

It felt like all of the characters in this third installment really came into their own. Dallas is learning her way into what it's like to be part of an MC, she's relatable because she messes up at times, but then faces things and learns how to make them right. She's not one of those heroines that enters into a new environment and immediately handles it all with perfection, frankly I liked this about her, I could see the vulnerability that most of us would feel in certain situations and yet she handles it with courage. She may get knocked down but she gets right back up again.

Luke really shows what he's made of in this book, what makes him a leader. He's not just a bada$$ on a power trip. The author doesn't just tell, she shows how tough he can be if you cross him, so you can believe that he can keep an entire MC in line. How he handles the prospects is with a firm hand but his reasons are solid and he teaches a good lesson. There is a theme of Luke keeping promises he makes and it's not to be taken lightly, this is good in a man that leads an MC. She also shows us a very loving side of Luke and a wisdom that comes from experience.

One scene that stands out came when Dallas makes a mistake in how to handle another sister, that was a hard scene, I was cringing on her behalf and felt her shame and embarrassment. Yet, it all felt so very real, we all make mistakes and say or do things we wish we hadn't -

****"Ya feeling like you lost your best friend?" Luke asked from behind me. I nodded, my eyes still focused on the closed door. "Wishing you'd done something different?" I nodded again, feeling my eyes burn, as tears formed at the back of them. "Is the shame so heavy in your chest that you feel like an elephant is sitting on it?" This time, the tears spilled over my eyes as my bottom lip involuntarily poked out, trying to stop the sob that was soon to come. Luke wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my neck, resting his chin on my shoulder, and following my gaze to the closed door. "That's good, babe." I turned into his chest, letting my tears fall freely, as I searched his eyes for a reason.

"How is that good? How can anything about this feeling be good?" I asked, choking back another sob. Luke smiled that unbelievably handsome smile that said he was proud of me, although he had no reason to be. "Because it means you care." ***

Lest you think Luke might be too soft a touch, there is a scene in this book in which Luke follows through on a promise he made to Dallas regarding using his belt for a spanking she would not enjoy if it ever came to it. She does something really foolish, sort of jaw dropping foolish, and brings in two of her sisters in a way that puts them in danger as well. Before this Dallas had been flirting with the idea of being spanked through the first couple books. Let's just say she found the punishment as unpleasant as Luke warned her she would. I'm pretty sure that took care of that little fantasy, haha I never understood the idea of authors introducing spanking as a punishment in books and then having the heroine enjoy every moment of it, I guess this would be a way to make it acceptable but I always wonder what the point is then? It makes much more sense to me that this might not turn out to be so enjoyable and thereby would really be a deterrent. In this again the author did not disappoint.

Bringing this around to the sisters, yes they find this quite hilarious and it's not surprising they are more amused by it then outraged when you consider the MC environment of a woman's place, these are all strong, intelligent funny women but they recognize for the most part that in certain things their men are in charge, this they knew going in. I was glad the author didn't sugar coat it, not everything has to be perfectly feminist PC. I'm sure the reality is that many woman are probably abused in these types of environments and I found the spanking to be far preferable to a man using his fists. Some people might see it as the same thing but although this is not something that I think anyone would condone in real life with a straight face, I didn't find it the same thing at all.

Speaking of the sisters, they are so much fun in this book! The banter back and forth is a riot, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I also loved to see Dallas build a better relationship with Maddie. Logan really isn't present but that's ok, I'm not big on having children or babies play a big part in these kinds of stories.

What I Loved:Well let me just say what a way to begin a book!!! Kim Jones definitely knows how to start things off with a bang! I’m convinced now that Kim Jones is an evil genius when it comes to this series and I want more!!! I really enjoyed this book because instead of the biker life being explained to Dallas, you get the life of an ol’ lady mapped out for you. After reading this one I am convinced that I would be the best ol’ lady there ever was!! I just have to find a hot sexy biker president like LLC and that should be a piece of cake; right?
After you finish chapter one you are instantly hooked wanting to know what the hell just happened. Of course you eventually find out and oh boy is it good. My stomach was in knots the entire time reading this book, I was up till one in the morning last night reading and I only stopped because my eyes were closing every five minutes. The sex scenes in this book were out of this world amazing and the desire between Dallas and Luke was through the roof every time they even looked at each other.

Not So Much:First of all the grammar mistakes were plentiful to the point that it took me away from really enjoying the story the way I should have. I get that in almost every book there are some, but this one had tons of them in every chapter and it was a little annoying after a while.

Second, there is a scene in this book that is just very hard for me to wrap my head around. I read a lot of dark books where a lot of bad things happen and sometimes there are anti-heroes that do bad things that are abusive so I don’t know why I wasn’t okay with this scene all I know is that I wasn’t. I think because to me Luke was never really this scary anti-hero to me in the rest of the series so for him to take on a new role in this book even if it was just for a scene was kind of disturbing. I am all for BDSM relationships and I love reading them but when it comes to punishments there are safe words, they are safe and consensual and it is never done in anger. You never hit a woman in anger, and if she says no you listen to her if you do not have a safe word set up, but none of those things happened in this book. Luke abused Dallas in a scene and if I felt that it was a necessary evil in their relationship that it lead to a bigger purpose then I would be okay with it, but I feel like all it did was bring humiliation and regret and then it was swept under the rug. It didn’t teach Dallas a lesson other than to be scared of her own boyfriend who is supposed to love and respect her. I get that he was upset about it later on and I appreciate it but for me that scene didn’t have a purpose, nothing about it was safe, nothing about it was consensual, and nothing about it was fun.

Ok...what to do what to say...I'm so conflicted! First let me say that I loved the first two books in the series and I think Kim Jones is a terrific writer and can spin an awesome tale, no doubt about that! My feelings are torn because of a particular scene in the book (which has already been spoiled in other reviews) and when I got to that point "I" was almost in tears with Dallas and for Dallas and became so enraged that the action went in the direction it did.
The book did start off with a bang...Dallas is being held captive in a hotel room by some masked men and then is subjected to the kind of torture you read about in military situations. We are left wondering WTH is going on and then the story takes you back to explain how she got to be in that position.
What I really DID like a lot about the book was how Dallas tried to fit in and figure out how to be the Prez's ole lady...the rules, the protocols, the politics...and when she gets it wrong it's almost funny and when she gets it right things really turned around for her.
The big issue in this story is trying to figure out if Dallas is now safe after all the Frankie drama or if someone is still contracted to kill her...and this becomes the main focus of the book alongside some club business which deals with disrespect and crossing territorial lines by another club.
For the most part I really liked this book (the sisterhood Dallas forms with Maddie and the other old ladies was fun and there was plenty of sexy time as well) but the torture scene in the prologue and another vicious and abusive chapter left me reeling and upset...not to the point of not reading the rest of the book, more to the point of cringing and tearing up.
If you read and loved the first two in the series you will definitely want to read this one to see how it all ends but be forwarned...it is not always pretty and the life in an MC is portrayed with grit and no holds barred honesty.

***** 4.5 ***** "Dallas and Luke find their forever?" stars

Saving Dallas forever is basically about the conclusion of Luke and Dallas. They still have a few things to end until they have their HEA together. Not only does Dallas have to deal with nightmares, club woman, but she has to deal with secrets Luke is keeping from her. She knows she loves him, and him her, but she has to prove that she will be the woman he needs her to be to continue in their journey.

This book was a disappointment. I didn't really get the point of it at all. One thing Luke did almost halfway through that I felt was just uncalled for because he went a little over the top with it. If he hadn't done it the way he did it then it wouldn't have bothered me, but that was just ridiculous. Then after that in a diner with his brothers, and the ol ladys watching.. I mean it wasn't much but it was still kind of dumb so I didn't really get what it had to do with the story at all anyways. It felt like the author just threw that in to add more drama but it didn't really amount to anything at all. Other wise the ending was okay, but not great. So I'm saying that this is my least favorite of this series, but the book was still over all okay. Because it was interesting to see Dallas with the ol ladys and the drama that ensued from that was interesting. If there is more in this series I probably won't be reading it.

Wow! This was full of anticipation from the wait of its arrive, but well worth it. LLC was totally in Alpha mode in this books doing some very surprising things to his lady love Dallas. Not going to lie, its got a wow factor that takes you by surprise. The story line was amazing, tying the three books together for a "Killer" finale. Epilogue was great to read at the end and provided closure. You see another chapter of the MC and will love or hate some of the ol' ladies..Though this books gives you details into the other characters lives which help you understand why they do some things. Red had a big part of the book and her attitude and persona is explained. Maddie may or may not get a happy ending , but has a long road in this book to get it. Dallas and Luke show us that love is powerful, but so is torture and murder. You will have to read it to find out what that means. Started it this morning and never put it down until it was done....Bravo Kim Jones!

Ok. This was a great book. Love Saving Dallas. But this book I was a little pissed off a Luke a few times. He just let stuff happen that I was like 'oh he77 no!' Like when he flirted with the waitress/pass around at breakfast. He let her run her hands through his hair. It was just disrespectful to Dallas in my opinion. I know he loves Dallas but I had a hard time putting that together with some of the things that happened. This book was more of them handling issues on their own. Even when she went to the other chapter to stay with him they were often separated. I would have liked them to be together more. Let me tell you...the ol' ladies time together was freaking hilarious. So many times during the book I was LMAO at them. Loved it. Anyway, I love Dallas and Luke and always will. This book was different to me but it was still a good read!!

What a great ending to this series!!

Luke never let me down and is still, oh so HOT!! He is one sexy, alpha male and knew what he wanted and the lengths he went through to keep him and Dallas together made me fall in love with him even more.

Dallas has really grown throughout this series and as much as I love her being so independent, I love how she always submitted to Luke. They had this one of a kind relationship where she would mouth right back at him and this really worked for me. I hate seeing a woman just bow down to a man's feet.I love how tough she became and the sparks always flew when they were together.

It was a great end to a awesome series! It gave us all we have come to expect from the Devils Renegade MC family.

As well as, all the good and bad of Dallas & Luke! There sexy time is off the charts ;)-

Two things: I really could have lived without the "spanking", you'll see? I loved the epilogue, it really ties the MC family together nicely! I just wish there wedding would have been more gushy time with L&D?I'm a sap what can I say.

It was a great series. I love Mrs. Jones's writing and it was a perfect example of how a writer ties us to her story makes us love each book as much as the last! It goes out with a BANG! Hehehe...Red ;)

This book was a bit different for me. While there was a lot with the MC, it more focused on the women. I liked that part of it, really liked how the two clubs women banded together to help the prospects wife without her knowing. But there were times when the women were just cruel to each other, they knew it, apologized like 5 seconds later, but it felt disingenuous to me. I also had a hard time buying in the part at the end with Dallas. I don't think she could have survived and done what was needed without breaking.

I was VERY disappointed in this book. Having loved the first two so much this one did not hit the mark. I felt like it was 90% fluff, 5% resolution and then an epilogue. I paid $4.88 for this book and I don't feel it was worth it, but I won't return it.

I also had an issue with the scene with Dallas and Luke in her office. You'll know exactly what I'm talking about when you get about 35-38% in. That just seemed so off the mark from this couple and their story line.

I wish I could have enjoyed this more but I just didn't.

This is more of a 2.5 star for me, not really a 3.

LOVE LOVE THIS DALLAS SERIES

LOVE LOVE THIS DALLAS SERIES

These three books have been an amazing journey to read. Lots of high and lows. Sometimes book series start really great in book 1 and 2 then when the third comes around its anticlimactic and a bit disappointing. However, I must say this 3rd book stayed on the same as the first 2. Only sad thing about this is that now I will have hard time finding another equally good read.

I have to say that I LOVED the first two books in the series....This book did not do as much for me. I felt that 90% of the book was just not doing it for me. Dallas' inner dialogue just seemed off from what she was in the previous stories. The last 10% of the book was awesome and amazing. People should still read the book...it was good just not totally loved!
