Anyone looking for a good read?
This is not it, seriously!!
You know all the things we hateeee?! This book has it ALL.
The story is as flat as a washboard for me. LoL
I wanted to shoot myself sooo any times reading this.
Most of my expressions consisted of constant eye rolling! (Note the double usage of gifs below)
Quick summary:
1) Virgin College Freshman
2) Never been kissed
3)Devastatingly beautiful
4)Deceased family
5)Huge inheritance
6) Stunning College Jock who doesn't do relationships (future NFL star)

4 ‘Sweet With Extra Sugar On Top’ Stars,
Allison spent her life alone taking care of her grandmother. She was her only family, along her neighbors and their son, Aiden, who was her best-friend and non-biological brother. So when she goes to college she goes to the same one as Aiden, on the first time she meets his roommate, and ironically, her roommate’s older brother, Liam.
Liam is the college team’s quarterback and he’s rumored to be picked for the NFL, so his priority is football and he doesn’t have time, or want, a relationship. But his beliefs slowly starts to change when he meets Alli. She says she wants it all, and won’t settle for less. Could Liam give Alli what she wants?
Okay, if you don’t like the following aspects in a book:
- Insta-love;
- Extra cheesiness;
- Overload of Sugar;
- Lack of angst and drama (seriously, NONE!);
- Virgin breathtaking heroine;
- Seriously hot jock with a player reputation;
- All types of clichés you can imagine;
Stay away from this book. I’m serious, this is not for you.
However, if you’re like me and sometimes you need a break from all the drama and the angst, and just want to read something sweet that is guaranteed to make you smile, this is a great choice.
The book is well written (despite some minor editing errors and some parts of the prose that felt a little “forced”), it’s sweet, and it’s engaging. It’s pretty much a rainbow-covered cupcake. So, again, if you’re in the mood for easy, quick and super sweet, this is the book for you.
Rating: 4 Stars.
Characters Development: For a “reformed player” that didn’t want commitment, Liam was a very sweet guy and changed his mind pretty quickly. He was a very sweet, slightly sexy guy and I liked him. Alli was a little immature at times, but at least she knew what she wanted and didn’t settle for less. She was sweet. I liked their families and friends, I’m curious about their books.

Dear Ms. Ryan,
Editors are wonderful people. You shouldn't be scared of them. You should find them. Embrace them. Love them.
Because they help prevent you from publishing crap like this.
Let's look at a few examples of how an editor could have been your friend:
1) whine vs. wine
2) your vs. you're
3) "man card" and its SERIOUS overuse (and awful use)
4) long-winded, stilted, unrealistic monologues that are boooorrrinnnggggg
5) re-telling the same event from two points of view... including the dialogue
6) SHOW DON'T TELL... you just kept telling and telling and telling... over and over and over again... and badly... so very badly
7) setting up an event that never ends up happening (i.e. two different people mentioning that the door to her dorm room should be locked and how they should NEVER just let people in without checking, and then not doing anything with that or... two run-ins with d!cks and then never following through. I kept expecting the d!cks to open the unlocked door... Two mentioned = set up for 3rd being an issue... it's the rule of 3's. Look it up!)
8) His name is MacCoy? REALLY!?!! as in the REAL McCOY!?!
9) Get your names straight. One moment she's Jerrica and the next she's Erica. One moment his nickname is Dash and the next he's telling the main characters that Dash and his friends are coming over.
10) Give the book a proper ending, rather than basically implying to the reader that you got bored and didn't want to write anymore.
11) Grammar! Spelling! Punctuation! PROOFREAD FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!
and, finally, on a personal pet peeve note... it's "I couldN'T care less" as in I couldn't care less if you ever publish another book. I COULD care less means that I care enough that I could actually care less... and I can't... really... I can't.

This book was insta love and had a very juvenile feel to the story and writing. There wasn't any drama, none, zero, zip, zilch. This book, minus the sex scene, would have been better suited for a teenager.

I loved it! I read it years ago and remembered loving it and I still do. It's not perfect because of a scene It didn't bother me. I just didn't like that part.
The story is about Liam and Allison.
Her parents died when she was a kid and now all she has is her grandma but her health is failing and she wants her to go live at the dorms and live her life. The only motivation she has is Ace, her best friend, who also studies there.
She meets her new roommate, Hailey. She also meets Hailey's brother, Liam and his friend who help them get settle.
He's a senior and the quarterback of UNC. He also has the reputation of being a player. But everything changed when they meet.
She wants more and won't settle for a fling or a one night stand but he doesn't do relationship. Will they give it a chance?
I loved these two! They're so cute together. I loved that they were attracted to each other but didn't settle for anything less. They gave all out. They loved so deeply. What she went through was heartbreaking and he was there for her. I even cried while she's reading the letter.
It has an epilogue but just HFN.

This was such a sweet book. There was no cheating, love triangles, or bad boy players. This was a story about a young woman entering college and the world for the first time. She has had to endure more loss than any one person should at such a young age. She meets the quarterback for her university’s football team and falls head over heels in love with Liam, despite his firm stance on not having time for relationships. They begin seeing more of each other and Liam starts to have a change of heart about his single status.
At times it almost felt like I was hearing every single thought that was going through the main character’s heads as they were falling in love. It’s like one of those sickeningly sweet, perfect couples that fall in love and have perfect lives with perfect kids but it didn’t make me nauseous. I was smiling for them the majority of the book because they were just so cute together. There was a feeling of innocent curiosity between them that was sweet, but at times really hot.
I was proud of Allison for sticking to her guns and not giving herself to Liam without the promise of a commitment. She knew what she wanted for herself and she made sure Liam knew exactly how she felt. Liam was also a stand-up guy because he didn’t try to take advantage of her. He respected her feelings, part of it might have been because her childhood friend and his roommate Ace promised to kill him if he hurt her, and took time to get to know her and examine his own feelings for her.
The book was a bit long considering a lot of it took place in the first 24 hours of their relationship actually becoming official. When I said it was almost like hearing and seeing their every thought and emotion while they were falling in love I wasn’t joking. Was it annoying? No it really wasn’t, but some might find it so. I guess I was intrigued by the style of writing that I didn’t really notice. I’m not sure why it didn’t bother me, but that’s a credit to Kaylee’s ability to capture my attention with her two main characters.
Liam started this book with only one goal in mind…to enter the NFL draft at the end of the year and graduate in sports medicine. He said he didn’t want or need any relationships. Allison started the year wanting to stay home with her Gran, but being literally pushed out the door by her Gran so she could experience life. Her goal in life was to have a family and be a mother. I guess the old saying opposites attract was dead on with these two.
There are also some amazing secondary characters that I am really hoping get their own book…. I’d rate this book at about 4-4.5 Stars.

This was a sickeningly sweet NA romance so if that's not your thing, this book is not for you.
Allison's only family is her Gran but she persuades Allison to live her life and go to college.
Life is a giant canvas, Allie, and you should throw as much paint on it as you can
She meets Liam, her roommates brother and it was insta love.
I'm not a big fan on insta love but in this case they didn't jump straight in and declare their love for one another and so I read on...
I am overwhelmed with what I can only describe as lust... she's beautiful
There was a lot of 'I love you' and 'he's different' around Allison and the 'spark' they have for each other. Which I felt was a bit repetitive at times.
However, for a debut this was a great attempt but I feel maybe it was aimed at a younger audience (I'm 28).
A good book to pick up if you like minimal drama and a feel good romance.

I'd forgotten that I've tried this author before and I wasn't a fan. By about 30% in I was ready to quit because at that point the reason they weren't together was because he didn't think he could have a relationship and she refused to settle for anything casual. After all any girl he'd been with before only held his attention for a short period and football was his greatest focus 🤦 he couldn't even stand to see her hug her best friend who was a male but really he just couldn't give her what she needed. Aside from that ridiculous plot which just recurred at every moment they were together the writing was so cheesy I couldn't take it!

Very low angst read. While I don't care for a whole lot of drama, I almost got bored because it was basically just their relationship.
I will definitely read book 2. I'm interested in how Aiden and Hailey will come about since they seem to be skating around each other in this one.

This book was so good and sweet! Typically, when you have sweet romances, they are dull, lame, and far to straight forward. Not this one!!
Anywhere With You had a great amount of love, lust, curiosity, innocence and angst to keep you turning the page.
Plus, the twists... My god! There were a lot of those 'I did not see that coming!' moments.
Liam...ah, Liam. How I loved thee.... HAH! Yes, I totally fell head over haunches for ol' Blue Eyes. Who wouldn't???
Now the ex: All I can say is this... I knew I didn't like him. *Insert angry eyes here*
After reading this, I can't wait to read Aiden's story!!!!!! Bring it on!

I'm a big fan of cheese. Brie. Cheddar. Ricotta. Camembert. You name it, I'll gladly eat it with a side of crackers & quince paste.
But Anywhere with You was far too cheesy for me!
It was like a cheese pizza. I could peel back the top layer of the story and see what the author was trying to get across. Actually, there were a few, brief shining moments where I really enjoyed the story's characters and where I thought the plot was leading.
But then...it'd rain cheese.
The romance was sickeningly sweet. I know, I know - it's romance. It's gotta be a little sweet. But I just think this story could have been so much better if the sweetness levels (a.k.a kissy-faces, love at first sight, acute panting and declarations of affection) had been toned down a smidgen.
So if you're a fan of Lucky Charms, fairy floss, or double cheese pizza, Anywhere with You may be the book for you :)

This is the first book I've read from Kaylee Ryan and while I have a list of authors I like to read from, now and then, I like to read from new authors as well. I decided to buy this book because it had a solid 4.0 rating and reviews were really encouraging. I must admit it wasn't what I was expecting. It wasn't horribly bad, the plot was decent, the college freshman who loses her parents at a tender age and goes live with her Granma. She then meets Aiden who becomes her only male best friend at a young age. Eight years later, Allie's Grandma decides is time for her to open her wings and learn who she really is by going away for college. Reluctantly, Allie follows her Grandma's advice and attends to the same college as her best friend. Here, Allie meets Liam, her roommate's older brother and of course the main character. Their attraction is immediate and that well....bothered me a bit. I can understand physical attraction at first sight, it happens to everyone. But I couldn't fathom their relationship moving so quickly, the author doesn't give us much detail during those moments when they're getting to know each other. I wished she would have, it would have made ME fall in love with them as well. Okay, so she didn't. It's not the end of the world, and not a reason not to enjoy the book so I continued reading. It was fine until they start getting intimate. CAUTION- the following contains SPOILERS, you've been warned. For someone as inexperience as Allie who has NEVER been on a date, NEVER been kissed, NEVER had a boyfriend, she moves pretty quickly with Liam. I usually don't care as long as it's believable. It wasn't believable for me. Liam wants to take things slow because well they been dating for one day and then boom! She grinding down on him and kissing him and having her first orgasm on his lap. Soon enough they're showering together and what happened to Allie? She is NEW to all of this, shouldn't she be, I don't know, a little hesitant about it? At least, in the beginning.
And Liam, for someone who has NEVER had a girlfriend, NEVER does PDA and has NEVER been committed in a relationship before, all of the sudden, he wants Allie more than his next breath. So when he makes Allie his girlfriend, he does everything he has never done before even making space for her to stay the nights with him. All this in a time frame of 24 hours. Okay, he is obsessed but...why? What is it that makes Liam so interested in Allie? All I could gather it was because she was ''the sexiest girl in the world and all his.''
I didn't get any depth from any of the main characters despite the fact we get both POVs, meaning that it should give the reader a better profound insight into the characters' unspoken thoughts. Now that I point out the POV's, I couldn't really tell the differences from one another. To me, it was all one person. That was a huge let down for me.
In summary, this is what I gathered from their POV's:
From Allie's POV, I couldn't tell much from Liam other than he is hot, sexy, and she wants him to want her.
From Liam's POV, all I kept reading was "she's the most beautiful girl I've ever seen" and "she's so sexy, I want her to be mine" and don't get me wrong, I love hot, possessive man but Liam didn't come off to me like that. I didn't feel anything other than he felt attracted to her physically.
In all, the story was too 'happily ever after' to be believable. She's 19 and he is around 21 and already crazy in love, for the first time, and soon to be married in less than a year. It seemed that everyone found their soul mates within each other. Liam and Allie. Liam's parents. Allie's parents. Aiden's parents. Allie's Grandma. It was rather unbelievable.
It was a very light book, quite unrealistic, a lot of "I love you's" everywhere, there some short steamy scenes, there was nonexistent drama, only one sad incident, and that's pretty much it. My recommendation is if you're feeling down or hopeless in love, then this is the book for you.

Anywhere With You would have been a great story, if Liam MacCoy wasn't such a pansy. I had the hardest time reading his dialogue as a man. He sounded too immature to be a college senior and it was obvious a girl had created his character because he sounded like one. If he had been a real person, I would have personally taken his man-card away. It annoyed me how he treated Allison like she was an infant. Their relationship was very unrealistic.
Liam MacCoy is very focused on his football career and hasn't been interested in a relationship because he is practically married to football. It makes no sense for Liam, who is a senior in college and about to enter the NFL draft, to all of a sudden fall head over heels for a pretty and shy freshman girl. Kaylee Ryan made it sound like Liam had never seen a beautiful girl before Allison. Liam is the star quarterback for his university there is no way he hasn't seen a girl just as if not prettier than Allison.
It would have made more sense if Ryan made them friends for a while longer with only a physical attraction to each other. Then, as Liam gets to know Allison more, he sees her shining personallity and slowly starts to fall for her, while he battles with his desire to not be in a relationship so he can focus solely on football. But that would have required a lot more change to the story than removing their insta-love/insta-I-have-a-strange-and-strong-desire-to-protect-you.
I would have made Liam a junior, setting back his graduation by a year so he and Allison can get to know each other better. Allison would still have a crush on Liam, sense he is super hot, but they wouldn't have started a relationship till Liam's senior year and Allison's sophmore year. It would have made the over protective attitutde from Liam more reasonable and it would have given both characters more time to mature. I liked Anywhere With You, just didn't like it enough to recommend to other readers. I'm no expert but from my limited knowledge of literature I would have to say Ms. Ryan's needs to work on character building and making her characters believable. And also, making her manly men sounds like men not fifteen year old love struck girls.
Liam MacCoy is very focused on his football career and hasn't been interested in a relationship because he is practically married to football. It makes no sense for Liam, who is a senior in college and about to enter the NFL draft, to all of a sudden fall head over heels for a pretty and shy freshman girl. Kaylee Ryan made it sound like Liam had never seen a beautiful girl before Allison. Liam is the star quarterback for his university there is no way he hasn't seen a girl just as if not prettier than Allison.
It would have made more sense if Ryan made them friends for a while longer with only a physical attraction to each other. Then, as Liam gets to know Allison more, he sees her shining personallity and slowly starts to fall for her, while he battles with his desire to not be in a relationship so he can focus solely on football. But that would have required a lot more change to the story than removing their insta-love/insta-I-have-a-strange-and-strong-desire-to-protect-you.
I would have made Liam a junior, setting back his graduation by a year so he and Allison can get to know each other better. Allison would still have a crush on Liam, sense he is super hot, but they wouldn't have started a relationship till Liam's senior year and Allison's sophmore year. It would have made the over protective attitutde from Liam more reasonable and it would have given both characters more time to mature. This was a very simple book. Simple story, simple writing, simple plot. But I found it simply wonderful. It is just your basic romance story of a sheltered girl starting college (not really wanting to leave the grandmother who raised her because she is ill) who meets her roommate's brother who happens to be the starting quarterback for the UNC football team set on a career in the NFL. He's focused on his career, she's just finding her way in life never even having a date before. Of course, the sparks fly and we the reader just follow the relationship as it develops, slowly at first but then pretty much gangbusters. No cheating, not much angst, lots of sexual tension and a little steam here and there. Simple.
When I first started it the writing was so simple I thought to myself this was going to be another DNF with poor dialogue, poor plot, etc. etc. I'm so glad I kept going (and really it wasn't very hard to do very shortly into the book). I'm sure some readers won't enjoy the lack of plot twists or sweeping language or prose. But I did.

I LOVE this book! Yes, it is very sweet but I really felt this book had a great story! Allison is a very strong character having dealt with the loss of her parents so young and taking care of her Gram. Liam was just so sexy and perfect! I love how their relationship developed. Sometimes I just really need a low-angst, sugary sweet book and this book was perfect for what I was looking for. Looking forward to reading more by this author!

Wow, this is a first. This is my first 1-star review on my blog. I've always been lenient with rating books. If I didn't like a novel, I still give it 2 stars for "it's okay" because that's how it was. It was still okay because the writing's fine but that I had so many issues over the book that made me dislike it. Before writing this review, I just finished writing a 2-star review. I originally rated this 2 stars because that's the lowest I give but when I sat down to finally extract this review from my brain and turn it into words, I realized that it would be unfair to the previous book if I give this book 2 stars as well. I didn't just dislike this book, I kind of hated it. I am really sorry Kaylee and to all the fans of this novel but it just wasn't for me. Now, I don't want to be mean but I really had so much negative feelings and thoughts for this book and I need to vent. Don't ever think that I'm attacking Kaylee (she's an angel!) but I just need to finally let these all out.
By the first page, I wanna poke my eyes out already. In the first page, the heroine just told the reader her life story. What? Why? I would have wanted to know you slowly, from how you talk, to your quirks and whatnots. Everything in this book was pure telling and not showing. Plus, I think the writing needs polishing as I caught a lot of "I said", "she said" and "he said" over and over again. Another editorial pass for synonyms and such could have helped. But still, I soldiered on. I wanted to get to the conflict and see what the raves were talking about. Sadly, I wasn't able to see one redeeming quality to this novel while I read it.
I didn't like how "protective" and possessive the guys were. Oh come on, we live in the 21st century. So much for letting the girls (they were freshmen and the guys were seniors) have the full college effect. Moreover, punching another guy for a girl doesn't always look chivalrous. Sometimes, it appears caveman-y. When the guys got into a fight with some guys for the girls, I didn't swoon. I didn't feel anything. Oh well.
Not only that but there's just too much coincidence in this novel in my opinion. But I can let that slide by a tiny margin since hey, I'm a big fan of Serendipity or Fate. However, I wasn't completely sold on the dialogue of the characters as I felt that they were totally stilted and unrealistic. There's this part where a guy just told his guy best friend the life story of his girl best friend which is the heroine. Paragraphs and paragraphs. First, guys don't talk that long. Actually, people don't talk like that! Well, if you know a person who talks as if he's delivering speeches, please introduce me to him so I can rescind my opinion on this bit!
Anywhere with You was told in dual POVs of Allison and Liam. While I dig he-said-she-said stories, I don't think the dual narrator set-up worked here. It felt repetitive, which added fuel to the already burning fire of my dislike. Additionally, the guys didn't sound like guys. I've always had so much respect for women who write believable male characters so I'm a bit critical on this aspect.
Just from the blurb, you can probably glean on the whole plot of the novel and whatever you're thinking, you're probably right. The lack of adding something new to the table and the absence of elicited swooning from me did not bode well for a romance novel that I already deemed predictable and formulaic. Kind, naive, freshman virgin? Check. Sexy, does-not-do-relationships, star football player senior? Check. Instant attraction, lust and love? Check, check and check!
So I won't recommend this to anyone but if you got curious as to why and how an angel like me (nyaha!) could have written such a very rant-y review, you can try to read it for yourself!

I'm so sorry, I just can't finish it.
I liked the idea of falling in love with our best friend's older brother. But seriously, this book is just confusing.
Too much nickname, Dash, Blitzen, Mac, Ash, Ace? Wut, are you freaking kidding me? Pick one and done. Please.
The story went too fast and I don't even feel the chemistry between Allison and Liam. All I know is Liam's handsome face and Allison's hot body and that's it.
Aiden or Ace or Dash is weird too, by being way too protective and stuff like that. I don't like it.
Very disappointing.

I can't give this anymore than 3 stars. I just can't. The writing isn't all that great, including quite a few typos and things that could have easily been caught, and everything seemed very easy and convenient. I usually add in how a book makes me feel while I'm reading it into my rating, typically rating things high. I couldn't fully let emotions take this one. I am contemplating even giving it 2 stars but I enjoyed the characters and definitely cried
All that being said I really enjoyed this! It is drama free, almost tragedy free, and you the entire relationship up front! I've been wanting a quick fun romancey read where they get together and don't have a lot of drama for awhile now and this book is definitely that. Granted the drama free convenience of it all doesn't necessarily make it a good book that I would recommend to people.
There are a lot of issues with this story that I fully understand, but its fiction and it was exactly what I was looking for.

Allison Hagen does not have the best life. Her parents both die and she is sent to live with her only living relative her Gran. Lucky for her, Aiden-or as Allison calls him ACE- lives next door and he becomes her best friend and brother. Allison does not want to go off to college, but her Gran insists and besides, her best friend goes to school and plays football there. It was time for her to go off and live the college experience. In walks Hailey, her fun loving free spirited best friend and Liam. Liam is Hailey's brother and to say that is he hot is not quite enough. He is good looking, the star quarterback of the UNC football team, and not looking for a relationship. His life is football and his dream is the NFL. Girls are just something to take the itch off and would get in the way of his dreams.
What we find out is that it really is a small world. Ace(Aiden) and Liam are best friends and roommates and don't forget that Hailey and Allison are roommates. What we also find out is that Liam is not that close minded when it comes to a relationship with Allison, and Allison is desperate to find someone to give her the love that she is missing from her parents.
I really liked this book. Ok- I loved it. I don't know if it is because I have been in a book funk and I have not found anything that I could connect with in awhile. First off, as most people know, I am a sucker for a book that has sports in it. If the main character is an athlete I will read it. Second, I am a sucker for a good coming of age book, where the character finds out who they are and what they are about.
You are going to love Allison and Liam and seeing where this goes. I will say that Liam in the perfect guy, so that might be the one negative, or positive based on what you are looking for. If there are any real life Liam's out there, please call me. He is over the top sweet and generous and downright perfect.
I can't wait for the 2nd book in the series, which will revolve around Hailey and Aiden. I am sure that it will be as delish as this one.

I liked the story, it was cute, but I kinda wished there was a little bit more drama in it. I loved being in Liam's head, "watching another man, even one of my closest friends, touch her or kiss her throws me off kilter." And Allison that girl you can't help but love, "can you honestly blame me: two beefy, sexy as hell football players with bulging muscles helping us move, hello I'm only human." Aidan he's protective of Allison they're like brother and sister, "she is my sister in every sense of the word. Don't hurt her, Liam, or I swear to god." He takes a deep breath. "She is not just a quick eff that you don't ever speak to again. So help me, if you hurt her in any way, I will beat the s*** out of you. She's my baby sister. EFF!" Liam he would seriously do anything for her, "you think I don't effing know that. Do you not think that I would give her the world if I could." Being in his mind was more interesting then Ally's as his was more grittier, "a simple touch from this girl and I have the ability to hammer nails with my c***." He's also honest, "yes, beautiful girl I just got off in my pants because my sexy as eff girlfriend was driving me crazy." He's also not one to be messed with, "watch your effing mouth when you talk about me and my girl, effstick."

Sometimes you just need a book with a love story that makes you feel good...like a breath of fresh air..especially if you've just read a book that gives you a hangover..."Anywhere With You" is just the book to cure that book hangover...there is no angst, no cheating, or negative drama...but there are a few scenes and events that will pull at your heartstrings.
Allison and Liam just made my heart happy and Allison deserved all the happiness in the world with the hand she'd been dealt.
i loved reading about the close relationship between Allison and her Granny, the story behind how she became best friends with Aiden (Liam's college roommate and football teammate), and seeing the friendship build between Allison and Hailey (Liam's sister and Allison's college dorm roommate)...Allison, Liam, Aiden, and Hailey spend a lot of time together and as Allison and Liam become more serious in their relationship, we notice that maybe there is something developing romantically between Aiden and Hailey too. I'm hoping there will be another book centered around Hailey and Aiden next.
There are some steamy parts in this book too, but only after Liam and Allison have developed into a serious relationship...Liam is delicious.
Read this book and fall in love with the sweetness of this story!

Самое начало... воспоминания героини: "В день, когда я переехала к бабушке [ее родители погибли], Майкл [отец семейства по соседству] начал называть меня "сестренкой". Он говорил, что они с женой больше не могут иметь детей, а он всегда хотел девочку. Поэтому я оказалась очень кстати".
Эм... девочка переезжает к бабушке, а сосед (просто сосед, с ее бабушкой он не близок) заявляет в первый же день вот такое. Я бы сочла его извращенцем каким-то. Ладно дальше героиня стала очень дружна с их сыном. И если бы дети подружились, и отец потом так сказал, это нормально... это действительно мило... а так... это маньячество какое-то.
Автор меня пугает. Героиня знакомится с родителями соседки по комнате и ее брата (он же главный герой). Все друг друга едва знают, буквально день, а родители соседки при встрече заявляют: "Зови нас мамой и папой". С чего вдруг?
Что не так с родителями в этом городе?
Книга просто кишит банальными штампами. И все, все до одного влюбляются (кто как брат, кто как парень) в героиню с первого взгляда. Аж правда стало интересно, что же в ней такого особенного. Но так я это и не поняла. Меня почти всю книгу подташнивало от банальщины и "уси-пуси" героев. Бе-е-е-е. Ужасно.

This book is so popular that I was incredibly excited to read it. Now that I've read it, I wish I'd read the reviews on here first. This book is really not well-written. And I mean REALLY not well-written. The dialogue is corny, the book is full of run-ons, comma splices, incorrect homonym usage, and other punctuation errors. I will admit, I was originally gripped by the story. But then Liam got lame and Allie was too weak. Every cliche thing that could happen, did. Main character a virgin- check. Love at first sight- check. Dead parents- check. Independently wealthy- check. Girl crying incessantly- check. Best friends getting drafted to the same freaking football team- CHECK! And the last third of the book felt like Kaylee Ryan saw the light at the end of the tunnel and booked for it. It completely lost my interest.
Now that I've been mean, I'd like to revisit my previous comment that I was initially gripped by this story. It has the potential to be really good. But the author needs to hone her craft and do a major overhaul. I wish her luck.

I have to agree with a lot of other reviewers and say that this book was a "sickenly sweet" depiction of "insta-love".
I did like it, but at the same time, I have to admit that the biggest downfall about insta-love romances is the lack of quality or substance to make their relationship believable and more memorable.
This book clearly fits the bill.
ALSO, could Liam be even more of a sap? I mean, for a guy who was like a player on campus he sure does not have the effect of one. He's constantly being super cheesy and talking about how "beautiful" his girl is and how gorgeous she is and how much he loves her. It's sweet but very corny and repetitive.
As for Allison, she's always tearing up at everything and is constantly made to be a damsel in distress by the likes of Liam and male bestie Aiden.

All I can say is that this book is one of my favorite college romance stories. The sexual tension, passion, love, and friendships in this book is off the charts yer sweet all at the same time. It's a simple love story with not a whole lot of drama but still sweet. I love that they did not rush into a relationship. I loved Liam..He is definitely towards the top of my book hotties list. He's a player but not a bad boy. He is focused and smart and determined. Allison is full of life and passion and honesty. I love the bond that Allison had with Aiden...such a beautiful friendship. I hope that Aiden ans Hailey get a book...that is an explosion of lust waiting to happen. This was truly a beautiful story with a beautiful HEA.

August 30, 2013I was able to reach 25%. Did not finish it. It's so cheesy. I didn't like the transitioning of two POVs. It became repetitive. The alpha male act was unbelievable. But just to be fair, I'm not gonna rate it.
