When Colton De Marco stumbles onto his fantasy woman sunbathing in the nude, he can’t turn down the chance to make a decade of fantasies about Lila Walker come true. Lila’s gorgeous, younger mechanic is a welcome distraction from her unpaid bills, her ogre-in-law, and her hurt over those who’ve turned away. Lila can handle their friends-with-benefits arrangement, but when Colton pressures her to attend his nephew’s baseball games, she knows the entire town will be talking. After all, her husband’s only been dead nine months. What’s a lonely widow to do when Colton won’t take no for an answer? Give the town something to talk about, of course. Little does she know, Colton’s planning to throw a curve ball she won’t see coming.

Eden Connor graduated from Converse College with a degree in Psychology so long ago, her sheepskin is chiseled in stone. She’s been a graphic artist, a bridal photographer and an antique restorer. Since the death of her true love, she raised two children to adulthood and now has the time to return to writing. She writes primarily contemporary erotic romances, the odd bit of erotica and an occasional paranormal piece. Most of her writing is set where she lives, in South Carolina, so expect the handsome stranger to come equipped with a slow drawl. Addicted to hazelnut creamer, baseball and cranberry glass, she likes the music of Motown and when not writing about adults behaving badly, she takes a stab at the occasional needlepoint canvas.
This was a sweet book. Colton had a crush on Lila for years, but she was married. Once she is widowed their relationship begins. I thought this was well done and realistic. They had some very steamy sexy times! Safety gang safe
I knew from the synopsis this would be an emotional read, but this book absolutely blew me away with its depth. From the May-December romance where the hero has held a torch since he was 19 years old, to the widow who was completely devoted to her paraplegic husband, to a teenage orphan with an attitude, and family and friends who all have opinions make Soft Sounds of Pleasure one of the most poignant yet extremely sexy books I’ve ever read.
Colton De Marco is one of the three De Marco brothers who run a garage in town. He’s the youngest of the brothers yet he’s raising his orphaned nephew. Ever since he “rescued” Lila Walker when he was 19 years old, he’s measured every woman by her standards. He finds himself ten years later studying her naked form when he arrives to ask her husband a question. He doesn’t realize her husband Pete is dead and what happens between them sets of a chain of events that will change his life forever. Lila (Delilah) Walker is a widow, Mom, and a furniture restorer. She was a faithful wife and devoted mother then her son joined the Marines and her husband died and she’s been alone for almost a year. When Colton stumbles upon her enjoying some alone time in the backyard, she’s more than ready to move on.
From the first scene this book grabbed hold of me and didn’t let me go. Colton is such an amazing man; he’s raising his teenage nephew, he refuses to see his and Lila’s age difference as a problem, he absolutely will not put up with his brother’s teasing, he’s devoted, kind, loyal and one sexy delicious hunk of manhood. Delilah though still grieving is a strong and complicated woman and I admire her strength so much. Despite all she’s been through in the last three years, she’s stayed strong and kept going even when she wanted to give in. She and Colton embark on a highly physical relationship which she thinks is only sex. It’s all she’s willing to give. Then Colton asks for her help with his nephew, Jonah, and things change quickly.
I can’t even being to explain all the wonderful and complicated storylines that go on in this book. Each one is integral and together they weave an amazing story. It’s so obvious that Delilah and Colton are meant for each other, they each are fighting issues from their past but together they soothe those past hurts. Lilah and Jonah’s growing bond is extremely special and there is one scene between the two of them that left me crying my eyes out. It is such a masterful piece of writing and I was worn out when it was over. Colton and Jonah learning how to become a family after being thrown together is at times painful but I am amazed at how even tempered and loving Colton is despite how he was raised. The DeMarco brothers trying to come to terms with their sister’s death, their nephew now in their care, and their changing relationship as Colton moves forward in his pursuit of Lila shows that their strong bond will change but never go away. I’m also amazed how Lila immediately jumped in to help Colton in his struggles with parenting a teenager. She really shows her true colors when dealing with the surly boy, the baseball league, and the middle school staff.
There is so much more I want to say about this book, but I don’t want to ruin it for anyone. I want you to be able to read and experience the same feelings I had while reading it. Eden Connor may be a new to me author but I will be checking out her other works soon and I can guarantee I will be the first in line for the next book in this series. You will absolutely fall in love with these characters; feel their pain and their joy, laugh at their antics, dream about their sex life, and hope that if you don’t have someone like this in you life you find them soon.
First and foremost. The book needs an editor...or a proofreader at the least. Once double words or the wrong tense of a word and just plain using the wrong word are all fixed. Then the author could use an editor to help with the transitions. I think that is my main issue with this book. As the reader, I felt the story was jumping all over. I never knew who was speaking (goes from his to her back and forth) and what conversion we were on. Then some things were given soooooo much detail I was skimming and other points that were more important were barley mentioned.
Overall I liked the storyline, and I think the book has/had potential. It just needs some tweaks to make it a 4-5star.
So this was a sweet story, though a little bit of odd circumstances. Colton has been in love with the married Lila for about ten years. He knew Lila loved her husband and vice versa, and Colton didn't make a move, but she was his spank bank material. About four years ago, Lila's husband was involved in an accident that left him wheelchair bound, but Colton still saw Lila's love for her husband.
In an odd scene, Colton comes upon Lila on her back porch sunbathing when he's gone to her for help with his orphaned nephew. He's still not going to make a move, but when she makes the invitation, he can't pass up the opportunity. At that point, he doesn't realize Lila's husband has passed, so that's a bit douche-ish, and he's actually a little relieved once he finds out. And so begins the process of Colton trying to show Lila how good he could be for her, even though she's 12 years his senior. For Lila's part, she really hadn't had sex in the four years her husband had been incapacitated, and toward the end, her husband became a totally different person anyway. She's soaking up Colton's attention, though she can't believe he'd possibly want her for the long run.
There's a sub-story about Colton's nephew and baseball (Lila's son was really good, so she knows a lot about the game that can help), but the main thing is about Colton and Lila.
This probably could have used a bit more editing. I never want to see "dung" in the middle of a love scene (she meant "dug"), and there was one scene where she's talking about staying over at his house on her birthday, but it hasn't happened yet, and she's talking just a page later about having NOT stayed the night at his house. Missing words, etc.
I did like Lila's no-nonsense way about her, and I liked that Colton seemed older than his years, so the age difference really wasn't a big deal, but I'm not sure I'll continue with the series.
3.5 stars. Colton has had a crush on Lila forever. One day he finds her sunbathing nude behind her home and before you know it they're having sex. It's an uncomfortable moment because before hand Colton reflects on the fact Lila is married and has been for years. Her husband became paralyzed in a car accident years before but he had seen nothing to believe she loved him any less.
Well come to find out her husband has been dead for nine months so it's not a cheating moment and I loved following Colton as he finally lives his fantasy with his dream girl.
Lila's life is a mess. She's got money troubles on top of all the emotional baggage from losing a husband. He was getting experimental treatment and his death still under investigation. With no death certificate she can't claim life insurance and he was the breadwinner of the family. She makes due with refinishing furniture but issues with her in laws and the stress of her son in Iraq don't help. Having a younger Colton to play with helps the stress, especially when he asks her to help out with his 13 year old nephew.
Colton's sister was murdered and his nephew comes to to live with him. He loves baseball, something Colton knows nothing of, and Lila helps out having lived and breathed it while her son was playing.
Lila and Colton are opposites. Lila is 41, has been married 17 or so years, and raised a child. She's confident and doesn't piddle foot around. She's not coy nor a damsel in distress. Colton is 29, single, no kids save the recent acquisition of his nephew. It's just been him and his two brothers who own an auto shop. Colton's a nice guy, quickly sees telling her what to do doesn't wash, likes to help out, but is clueless about many things. He's not ashamed to ask for help though and is baffled when Lila rejects his help. They fit well though sometimes I felt Colton was drawn more like 17 than 29 and Lila more like 55 than 41.
Their relationship moves at a respectable rate and sexy times fabulous.
But the niggles exist. Her reasons for having no friends (except Amy) make no sense. She claims all her friends' husbands hit on her when her husband was injured and her friends believed their husbands were or wanted to sleep with her. No one part of that worked for me. A more logical reason for her friendless state would be her pushing them away exhausted with her husband's care and their uncomfortableness with the situation. In addition, Paul's been dead for 9 months yet no one knew. For a small town, this was another fact that made no sense.
This is the story of Colton DeMarco and Lila Walker. I honestly must say – I LOVED this book. I read it until my iPad died and couldn’t wait for it to charge to finish it. From someone that usually reads paranormal erotica, this was a wonderful change of pace that kept my attention. Great writing with characters that were real and very well developed -- the sex was hott, and the door was opened for more to come from the DeMarco men. The main dilemma is that Lila is older than Colton. As a recent widow in a small town where no woman wanted her close to their man, Lila is struggling to come to grips with her new life. She only had eyes for her husband, even after he couldn’t meet all of her needs, but when Colton dropped by to ask her husband for a favor, sparks flew and a deck was christened awakening a lust and a love that grew quickly and easily. Of course, guilt abounds for both Lila and Colton. She is contending with the town gossips, the overbearing mother-in-law, and the grief of losing the love of her life while Colton is dealing with grief of his own for his sister, running a family business with his brothers, and taking on the heavy task of raising his now orphaned nephew. New to the single life after years of being married and raising a family, Lila thinks this was a one-time thing, but Colton has dreamed of her for years and shows that real men still know how to woo a lady. Together they find a love neither thought would happen. In her he finds that the woman of his dreams is very real and for her, she finds that lightning can strike twice especially in matters of the heart. The story has several twists and turns that kept this book fast paced and interesting. I honestly, couldn’t put the book down. I highly recommend this book to anyone that loves a good old fashioned love story with a true to life happily ever after. I was given a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review, but I would absolutely buy this author’s work again and again.
Lila Walker has batted lead-off in Colton De Marco's fantasies for years, and now that he's stumbled upon her sunbathing in the nude, he decides to take his best swing.
Coping with her ogre-in-law, her inability to collect her late husband's life insurance, and the knowledge the entire town's counting the days she wears widow's weeds, Lila decides some between-the-sheets batting practice is just the distraction she needs--even if their sexy scrimmage won't last the summer.
But is she missing Colton's signals that he's in it to win it? And can Colton knock it out of the park with the attractive widow before his thirteen-year-old nephew's foul attitude gets him thrown out of the game?
This book started out with assumed adultery. I am not sure how I felt about that. There was plenty of impetus behind it and it is all very well described but still at the back of my mind, throughout the rest of the story, it bugged me. I really did fall in love with the hero, but that inital act really bothered me. Ok, so I know thats just me. On to the rest.
This was a charming love story. I fell in love with the characters and the setting. In the beginning, Lila was pretty wrapped up in what people thought. She was working through some pretty heavy duty grief. Sometimes she seemed a confident woman and others not so much. By the end she was becoming a little stronger and telling the people that deserved it to back off.
The De Marco brother dynamic was pretty typical. One minute they seem to be unconditional understanding and love, the next judgey and harsh. I know many families who are this way. But when it came to their nephew's welfare they were willing to do whatever it took and I really like that about them. I will be curious to see how their stories shake out in the future books of this series.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I will certainly read the future books in this series to see how it shakes out.
What happens when everyone you’ve ever loved goes away? They either leave, move out, move on, die or just disappear. How do you ever risk loving again?
Lila’s husband has been dead for 9 months. But before he died, she spent 3 years taking care of him after his accident. She never left his side. She was never unfaithful.
Colton has been in love with Lila for 10 year. She was never available, she was married. Now that she’s a widow, all bets are off and Colton plans to win.
This is an interesting story. We have an older woman and a younger man. We have two people who have been plagued with loss their entire lives. Yet, they’re falling in love with each other.
The obstacles Colton and Lila faced are similar to problems faced by many other couples. Loss, public opinion, family opinion, misunderstandings and just learning to navigate the other person. We all have baggage and whoever we’re with have to learn to navigate that baggage. The trick is learning to let go of your baggage to enjoy what you have in front of you. Colton and Lila learn to do that.
There are some pretty hot scenes in this one. Let me recount them, the deck, the garage, the deck, the bed, the pond and others. They were definitely adventurous in this one and it was HOT.
Often times books will leave you with something far longer than the pages of the book. This is one of those books. Hug the one you love. Tell them you love them. Keep them close to your heart. Don’t be afraid to let go and take a chance. All important things to remember as you go through life.
Soft Sounds of Pleasure (Those Devilish De Marco Men) This was the first book by Eden Connor that I have read and I truly enjoyed it. In the last year Delilah Walker has lost her husband and her son has been deployed to Iraq. Enter Colton De Marco; hot, sexy and much younger. Sparks fly immediately between the two. Colton lures Lila back to living life again through love of hopefully him and baseball, which she hasn’t attended since her husband died and her son decided to join the Marines. Colton also recently adopted his murdered younger sister’s 13-year-old son. He is clueless as to what to do to help the boy. Lila has already raised an angry, hormonal and grieving teenager and she agrees to help him out and give him advice. There is one problem though….Delilah is almost 12 years older than Colton. She is not quite sure how to handle this or how people are going to respond to it. She is worried about what people will say. But by the end of the book she has all her worries taken care of so she, Colton and Jonah can move on together happily. I can’t wait to read the next installment of the Devilish De Marco Men. It is always great fun to see the ones who tormented the other to take that fall into love. It should be a lot of fun!!!
The older woman/younger man story line is one of my favorite tropes since it mirrors my real life situation so of course I picked this up when one of my GR friends gave it high marks. I really enjoyed it. It was well done and very believable. Somehow it all just sucked me right in. I think straight contemporary is the hardest genre to write in because you don't have vampires or serial killers to drive the plot. Most of the time, I end up not finishing them or going meh if I do finish them. This one however shone. The people were very real, the dialog was believable and flowing. I loved the author's choice to make the three brothers auto mechanics instead of millionaire ranchers. I loved how the hero had been hot for/secretly in love with the heroine for 10 years since he'd been 19 years old. The sex was pretty hot. In fact the book starts off with a bang (ha ha) when the hero catches the heroine sunbathing nude on her back deck and does her right there. What could have been an awkward scene wasn't because you already knew some history, that he was crazy about her. The older woman element was well done. It was explored and the heroine worried about it but she wasn't unreasonable to the point of denying him over it.
What a lovely read this was. Soft Sounds of Pleasure had plenty of spice, but a lot of tenderness too. It moved me to laughter and tears and brought me on the kind of deep character journey I wish for every time I pick up a romance. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes romance, baseball, younger men, hot mechanics, and antique furniture repair.
Bam! This book starts off with a bang. And just when you think it's a story all about sex (and some amazing sex, I might add) it throws you a curve and you see the emotion and heart of this story. A wonderful story about dealing with grief, dealing with your ability to allow yourself to love someone else, and growth.
Loved the book! A very touching story. there's an age difference, the woman being older, that presents a challenge and an opportunity for the story and the couple. It's has great sex scenes but the story is very nice. Nice balance between sad and funny and hot. I finished the book with a smile. :-)

Okay so now I have to go find a new mechanic as I want one that looks like one of the DeMarco’s. I am not that picky but it sure would be nice eye candy as you wait for your car to be repaired.
Ms. Connor writes a thoroughly believable cougar story involving Lila Walker who recently lost her husband (wheel chair bound) to whom she was devoted to. As she comes to grips with her son going into the service and the loss of her husband in walks devastatingly handsome Colton DeMarco. He happens to be twelve years her junior.
The questions begin for Lila just as they would for anyone with an age difference in any type of relationship. I think this holds true for women more so than men. Have I grieved long enough? What happens if someone younger and more beautiful comes along and he wants her not me? Once you date a younger man mother’s want to lock up their sons for fear you might take them. And women fear their husbands just may want you and not them. Colton is the youngest of the three DeMarco brothers that own the local garage. It seems as if he has always had a thing for Lila. (She is 41 to his 29)
Ms. Connor made these characters so personable that you found that you actually cared what happened. Their lives became real and reading this I ran the whole gamut of emotions.
Extreme Hot Meter: Sex was very erotic but so varied that you didn’t know what was going to happen. Unlike some stories that use that same variation over and over. No so from Ms. Connor. She left me guessing. I enjoyed the spontaneity of the sensuous erotic sex that seemed so natural to take it from the bedroom to the patio, yard, by the pond. Such a wonderful surprise…the deck was even christened.
I enjoyed the ease Ms. Connor had with her knowledge of baseball and furniture making. It made it easy to read and not have to wonder what she was talking about.
This reader has found a new author to read which is always nice. I look forward to more from those irresistible DeMarco men or should I say ‘Devilish DeMarco Men’.
So while I am off looking to see if perhaps they have moved in next door or maybe breaking something on my car so that they (the DeMarco Men of course) can fix it; why don’t you pick up Soft Sounds of Pleasure by Eden Connor and fall in love with the romance and some really HOT erotic sex.
One of the nice things about being a reviewer of a wide number of genres is that you can put your hand in the lucky-dip tub of your TBRs to vary your reading and pull out a nice surprise such as an erotic romance—like this one—which seems to be in the minority group of my extensive ‘to do’ list.
I really enjoyed this novel by Eden. It had depth and substance. Colton De Marco, the youngest of three brothers who own a garage, has harboured a ten-year unrequited desire for the older very attractive Lila whose wheelchair-bound husband, he recently discovers, has died. Her only son has enlisted with the Marines, so she is now alone with just memories, a furniture-restoring business, and a meddling, bitter old mother-in-law who has very little time for Lila’s new life. As luck would have it, Colton finds himself presented with an opportunity to get into Lila’s life…and her bed, as it happens. A 41-year-old widow attracted to and idolised by a 29-year-old hunk: a recipe for happiness? Lila has to consider old-fashioned prejudices (how long is long enough to be a lonely widow?), a not inconsiderable age gap (her child-bearing days are over), and the inability to depend on a man whom she is sure will lose interest when a younger model comes along.
Oh yes, there's plenty of page-sizzling, hot, erotic sex—all scenes were perfectly executed. They were varied (I never thought, oh no, here we go again), charged, sensual, tastefully graphic and passionate. The irresistibility of both characters was well conceived. It was evident that Eden had an in-depth knowledge of furniture restoring and baseball and these elements helped to make a well-rounded novel, perfectly balanced between a solid story and erotic sex.
It’s well written—with heart and feeling—and with strong characters—Eden gives them enough of a past to make them interesting without being stereotyped or shallow. I gather there is more to come from the De Marco brothers, and since the car mechanics near me are nowhere near as gorgeous as Colton, I shall just have to sit back and wait for the next book.
Don't let the cover fool you...this is a book about a widow, Lila Walker trying to find a place for herself in a world without her husband and son. One has passed and one is away fighting for his country, and she is alone for the first time in years, and maybe a bit lost.
Then in walks Colton DeMarco, who has been in love/lust with Lila for the last ten years, not that he'd ever make a move on a married woman. Until one afternoon when he walks up on her sunbathing nude in her backyard and one thing leads to another.
Turns out that Colton is interested in making more of their relationship than just sex, but Lila isn't even sure she can continue with what little she is willing to offer him. She is older than him, has some money issues and doesn't want to be involved in any rumors that might get back to certain family members.
Will Lila let her heart be captured by one of the handsome DeMarco brothers, or will she live the rest of her life regretting letting him go?
This was a nice beginning to a new series from Eden Connor. The story was a bit different from your usual romance, and the sex was very steamy. The heroine was a bit older than the hero, and had recently lost her husband. She was a true characterization of any newly widowed woman trying not to lose her heart again, especially to a younger man who probably deserves to be with a woman who can give him everything out of a marriage that she cannot offer him.
Colton was a great hero, strong-minded, stubborn and sexy, sexy, sexy!! I loved his determination in showing Lila that things could work out for them, that she could love again, and he was going to be the man to claim her heart. Who doesn't love those qualities in a hero?
This was an enjoyable book, and I look forward to reading about the other two DeMarco brothers, especially Daniel, who is the hero in the upcoming, Wildly Inappropriate, releasing September 8th.
Lila Walker was happily married to her husband until he passed away. She stood by him even after the accident that paralyzed him.
Colton DeMarco has had fantasies about Lila since he was a teenager. When he catches Lila sunbathing naked & she seduces him, he feels guilty about having sex with a married woman, but he doesn't tell her no. Then afterwards he finds out that she's actually widowed.
He asks her for parenting advice with his nephew who's come to live with him after the death of his sister & Lila starts coming to the boy's baseball games. She knows the town is talking about how she's taking up with a younger man after her husband's only been gone a short time, but she can't seem to stay away from Colton. She's way more hung up on her age then he is. She's everything he's ever wanted.
Good story, some really great parts but has a few editing issues that need to be fixed. One major thing that kept distracting me was the fact that Colton is supposed to be 29 and his sister 11 months younger than him. According to the storyline, she left home at 18 and had a baby soon after but her son is 13, if you add that to 18 you get 31 but if she's younger than Colton then she should be 28. This drove me crazy plus at one point a mention was made that Colton met Lila at 19 and she was going to pick her son up from his first day of school which implies that he is 6 but 10 years later he's 21. There are a few spelling issues and misplaced words but overall the story is good and the sex is hot. Nice moments with the brothers, the best friend Amy and I love how she can take out some of the jerks with some verbal cuts. I liked it.
I was pointed in the direction of this book by Stephanie's book reports on Facebook when I agreed to review the third in this series not knowing it was a series and of course no point missing out on the first 2 I'm so glad I did not decide to skip I loved this book I loved lilas backbone and the way she takes no crap had me laughing my ass off at times I'm so looking forward to the others now bring on part 2 :-) 5 huge stars well done eden hopeless romantics this book is right up your street <3
What a great story, and right in my age range. Soft Sounds of Pleasure by Eden Connor tells a great love story mixed with really hot encounters. Lila is older and a bit more set in her ways, definitely more independant. Colton is 29 and has loved her forever. What started as FWB turns into a sweet romance. Will Lila and Colton be able to overcome the obstacles facing them in this small town? I guess you will have to read it for yourself. You won't regret it.
This book had me from the beginning. I love a great super hot read but this book not only has great sexy scenes, it has a beautiful love story to go with it. I am so in love with the characters and absolutely can't wait for the next book!
I flove Eden Connor's characters. They are real, and down to earth. This story is no exception. Colton and his brothers own a garage and he's had a crush on Lila for as long as he can remember. Lila is finally free and Colton gets to make his move. Love the story, and I love the lessons from the book.
Lovely, erotica with real story, a child, younger H, sweet and practical h. She is grieving the loss of husband, and the H has loved her for years. She is a good person, wants to trust him, but has been hurt by others and is trying to be realistic and not get hurt again. The H is mad for her, and is such a good man. Great steamy scenes that showed how much he loved her. I liked it a lot.
Ok. Confession time. I started reading this several months ago and I was a little embarrassed to add it to Goodreads but I got over it. Also, I am a hoarder of free Kindle books. Seriously, last count I had over 3000 books in my cloud and that was a year or more ago (whenever Manage My Kindle stopped giving me a number). I accidentally clicked on this one because all my recent purchases started downloaded too fast for me to stop. So, I started to read this one even though I'm not a huge romance fan. Free is free and I just wanted something fluffy to read. I liked the first half of the book but the second half was a bit lack luster. For some reason I want to buy the next one but I feel like I shouldn't. I mean, seriously, I've got enough books to read on my book shelve, in my Kindle, in my to read piles, and in my currently reading pile. In all honesty, this was a three star book but I bumped it because I enjoyed the price and the beginning part of the book. If you like romance and baseball or woodworking (innuendo or no, I meant it literally, but I like the pun either way) you might enjoy this book.
I am so excited to find this book and author! I don't remember how I found it, but I bought it because I loved the idea of the older woman, younger man story. Being in my late 40s, I sometimes get tired of every heroine being super-young and perfect.
Reading the opening scene of this book, I thought I had made a big mistake. It starts out a little bit like a Penthouse letter, and judging by the first few pages, I thought I was going to get some kind of menage story (which is fine, just not what I was looking for), but thankfully I pressed on and discovered I was totally wrong!
This is a heart-wrenching story of loss, grieving, moving on and "getting your groove back." The characters are very believable (even though they are physically near perfect, as they are in most romance novels), and while there are some very steamy explicit sex scenes, there was plenty of story and character building to tie them together.
I loved this book and am looking forward to picking up the next one in the series as soon as possible! There are two more smokin' hot De Marco brothers who need to find their women!
I really enjoyed reading Soft Sounds of Pleasure (Those Devillish De Marco Men Book 1), all about Colton De Marco & Lila who meet when Colton drops by to ask Pete her husband a question! However he's several months to late, since Pete died almost nine months ago now. Instead he catches Lila totally unaware as she's sun-bathing nude on her back deck! Seems Colton has always had a crush on her, ever since he stopped to tow her into the garage almost ten years ago, and the dream is about to become a reality, and boy was it worth the wait! The author wrote a very interesting story, and the characters totally sell the book! It's about two people who come together to help solve a new dilemma surrounding Jonah his new charge. Read this book, it will make you laugh, cry, sigh, shake your head and cum up a storm! It's an amazing story about love & healing and the power to make that happen! I can't wait to start reading book 2 & 3.
