This was a rather exciting romance. I have had a copy of this book for review for years and just never seemed to fit it into my reading schedule. I am glad I decided to finally pick it up because I ended up having a lot of fun with it. This is the second book in the Justiss Alliance series but I thought it worked great as a stand-alone. It was a pretty quick story that was filled with a lot of action. I didn’t want to put this book down once I started reading.

Mollie is trying to find her sister who has gone off with a motorcycle gang. Mollie fears that her sister is in danger and she will do whatever is necessary to bring her back to safety. Julian is a SEAL that just recently left active duty and is trying to adjust to life as a civilian. Julian crosses paths with Mollie outside of a biker bar and he knows immediately that she is in over her head so he decides to help.

This book is pretty exciting from the start. There are motorcycle chases, shootouts, and even some undercover operations worked into the story. I liked the fact that I was never sure what would happen next and there were some real surprises that popped up from time to time. The mystery was pretty complex and the group that they were up against was pretty brutal which only added to the excitement. There were times during the story that I couldn’t help but cringe at Mollie’s behavior since she was putting herself in a lot of danger when there was probably a better way to handle the situation.

I liked Mollie and Julian and thought that they worked well together. They had a lot of chemistry from the very start. Mollie was very loyal to her sister and family and had sacrificed a lot to try to find her sister. Julian felt compelled to keep Mollie safe and it really seemed like he could do just about anything. I thought that they made a great team together.

I would recommend this book to fans of romantic suspense. This was an exciting story with some pretty great characters. I thought that the book had a great combination of action and more tender scenes. I am pretty satisfied with the way everything worked out and wouldn’t hesitate to read more from Tina Wainscott.

I received a digital review copy of this book from Loveswept via NetGalley.

Initial Thoughts
There was quite a bit of action in this book really from the very start. I liked Mollie and Julian right away and thought that they had excellent chemistry. Julian was wonderful and seemed to be able to do just about anything. There were a few times that it seemed like Mollie was putting herself in bad positions when maybe things could have been solved in a much better way. I was pretty satisfied with how everything worked out in the end.

Wild Ways is the second full book in the Justice Alliance series, and in which we are given sexy ex-SEAL and Harley riding Latino, Julian Cuevas’ story. Julian hasn’t actually joined the Alliance yet, but can’t resist the lure of a damsel in some pretty serious ‘distress’.

Mollie, in her search for her missing sister has become embroiled with a Motorcycle Gang, and although she’s a pretty ‘tough cookie’ even she isn’t prepared for the danger that she is in while trying to find out the truth about her sisters whereabouts. Julian with his no man (or woman), left behind mantra, steps in to offer assistance, and its thrills, spills, gunfights and general mayhem and sexiness until the end of the book.

I am really enjoying this series, Tina has managed to put quite a serious storyline together, but inject a little humour into things along the way. I love the interaction with the guys, and their banter. There are also a few tears along the way, but if you don't experience the whole range of emotions when you are reading a romantic suspense novel, then you definitely aren’t reading the right ones.

I can’t wait for the rest of the guys to get their books, but I think Rath is going to be the guy that worms his way in and eventually breaks my heart.

Wild Ways by Tina Wainscott

This year I have become a big fan of Tina Wainscott and her new series, the Justiss Alliance. I loved the novella that spawned the series and enjoyed the first full length book. I do have to say that I enjoyed this book more than the first though. I felt a little bit let down with the previous one considering I was crazy about the novella. This series is a lot like Maya Banks' KGI series or Cindy Gerard's Black Ops, Inc. series, both I happen to love. So needless to say, I'm thrilled to have another military romantic suspense series to read. It is truly one of my favorite genres.

Julian Cuerva is a disgraced former SEAL who has recently joined The Justiss Alliance. He hasn't had a case yet and conveniently one falls into his lap. After seeing a beautiful redhead at a gas station earlier in the day, he sees her again at a renown biker bar. This intrigues him because she doesn't look like the kinda of girl that usually hangs out at this type of a bar. Julian rides a motorcycle but is not a biker. He and his former teammate, Rath decide to sit and watch what happens to the pretty redhead as she approaches the bar.

Mollie is hunting for her wayward sister. She lost her job, most of her money and the help of her grandparents searching for her sister. See, Mollie is a caretaker of people. She has this need inside her to protect and nurture the people she cares about. Her hunt for her sister is because other than her grandparents, she has never been able to count on anyone. Her mother was an addict, her father abandoned the family and her sister's lifestyle choices have left Mollie to fend for herself. Not to mention her choice in men is abominable. She knows her sister was last seen with a one percent biker named Brick and that she vanished after a frightened phone to Mollie, begging for her help.

Julian takes it upon himself and his employers by extension, to help Mollie in her search. He admires her tenacity and determination but begins to realize her desire for family but her fear of abandonment. Julian, a lover of women soon accepts he's met the one. Mollie, not so much. She has walls built up so high that even Julian can climb them. Together, they chase down leads through bars, strip clubs and biker haunts. Their search brings them ever closer and they discover a horror they never could have imagined going on in this outlaw motorcycle gang.

This was a great book and it gave us a different look at MC in romance novels. The market is flooded now with MC romance and I'm a huge fan of it but it does glamorize the abuse of women. I, being a woman, am obviously against violence toward women. I felt that this was probably a closer to the truth depiction of women's lives in an MC. Maybe not to the full extent of this story but close. If you like military romantic suspense, pick this one up you won't be sorry.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review via NetGalley.

Second in the Justiss Alliance, a romantic suspense series. The couple focus is on Mollie Reagan and Julian Cuevas.

My Take
A story about dysfunction and love and family. Funny how they always seem to go together. There’s Molly obsessed with caretaking her sister, abandoned by her parents and grandparents, and desperate to know what it’s like to belong to a loving family. Then there’s Julian who has too much family who all love him, but loco.

It’s a cute start as Wainscott impresses right away with how tough the boys are. It actually is a good story with realistic reactions from Mollie. It could use more depth and a bit more show. However, please, what is Wainscott’s obsession with these info dumps! Writers need to incorporate background information into the story. Make it natural. Throwing in these asides takes me out of the story…it also makes me more critical. Ahem.
”…and four men and two ‘ol ladies,’ as the bikers called their women…” *major eye roll*

And then Wainscott, I mean Julian, expects Mollie to immediately trust some scary guy who rises up out of the parking lot of a bar with her safety?

How stupid is Mollie? Hasn’t she heard of door locks? She does make a good point about needing to come along.
Crack me up. I love that phrase she uses to describe a former relationship:

“…their relationship resembled two people swirling around in a toilet bowl. When it finally flushed away, she had only felt relief…”

I do feel bad for families caught up in this sort of situation, and I can’t blame the grandparents for giving up on their daughter and then granddaughter. There’s only so much you can do for someone determined to destroy their lives.

This may not be a good read for families who have wayward daughters, as it could trigger some terrifying scenarios for your nightmares. On the other hand, it might be a good teaching tool to scare daughters into being aware…

I gotta go with Mollie’s reaction. If you love someone, you don’t leave them behind. HOWEVER, you can’t change people. They have to want to change. Mollie’s biggest problem is her need to take over people’s lives, make their decisions for them. It just pisses people off, being controlled like this. It never works in the long-term. And it will never make both parties happy.

Another excellent point is:

“You can’t control other people’s behavior, beliefs, or perceptions. All you can control is your own.”

Jesus, that takes some guts getting up on stage and stripping.

And now the I’m-too-stupid-to-stay-safe trope, ‘cause Mollie didn’t learn from her last encounter with the bad guys, although I do appreciate Julian’s own appreciation for Mollie’s traits as well as what he’s learned about his family from her. Very sweet.

Oh, man, it gets really good after the strip club stake-out, that heart-in-mouth kind of action.

I know everyone is entitled to their preferences, but there is a point of common human decency. One which this biker group has gone way, way, way beyond.

Oh, please…Crimson is supposed to be so hot because he’s “brought tens of thousands of dollars” to their coffers? Really? Tens of thousands? Seems like that amount would be more realistic…hmmm, how many decades must we retreat before that sounds like a lot of money? Now if Wainscott had said hundreds of thousands or tens of millions

Thank god, Di finally gets it. *eye roll* Oh, man, I love it. Di gets it and then she hands it out with a vengeance!

The Story
Julian may have accepted what happened to their military careers, but Rath needs revenge. A headshake of acceptance and Julian turns his attention to another who has caught his attention. He can’t resist what appears to be a lady in distress. And anyone planning to confront a biker gang is in distress.

The race will be on when Mollie learns the truth about the Ball.

The Characters
Mollie Reagan, a.k.a., Mira, is/was employed until it was learned her sister had run off on her own---Mollie does have a caretaker complex. Now she’s hunting for her runaway sister with dwindling resources. Diane, a.k.a., Birdy, is Mollie’s flighty sister who ran off with a biker. Her dad left. Her mom flipped out with alcohol and drugs. Her grandparents are strict due to their daughter’s drug use.

Former SEALS, Julian Cuevas (he rides a Harley Fatboy) plans to join the Justiss Alliance while his friend, Rath Blackwood who rides a Shovelhead Harley intends to get revenge. Julian’s family includes Estefan, Eldora just got a Disney job, Omar, and mama and papi.

The Justiss Alliance (TJA)
The Justiss Alliance is a private security company intended to get justice for people who can’t get it through normal channels; J-Men are the agents. Chase Justiss started the organization in response to his own issues. Vivi is one of their agents. Knox, Risk (mad interrogator skills), and Sax (part of the SEAL team that was betrayed) talked Cuevas into joining TJA.

Kings of Chaos biker gang
Billy Bob, a club prospect, was gonna tell Mollie something about her sister. Oops. Scotch is the club president. Greaser is his sergeant-at-arms. Brick is the guy who took up with Birdy. Boner, Blazer, Mooney, and Fat Bob are more members. King Crimson is the head of the entire club. Rancid is president of the Chicago chapter.

Hidden Assets
Hidden Assets is a strip club in Chicago run by Damon, a King. Crystal is part of management while Tawny, Petra, Katie, a.k.a., Foxy, and Lilliana are some of the girls.

Big Juan is a chapter president of the Purgatory Posse, another biker gang. The Viper biker gang includes Blackbeard, the sergeant-at-arms, Venom, and Buzzkill.

Detective Boyd warns Mollie about Julian. Kevin is hired security. And what he’s doing promoting himself as security, I don’t know. Thorny, a.k.a., Thorndyke, is a friend of Julian’s from the platoon who retired in Texas who repairs cars. Paul is an ex-boyfriend of Mollie’s, typical of her type. Lang runs a bar with good bar-b-que.

Prospects are wanna-bes auditioning for membership. Patches are bike group members. Church is a chapter meeting. The King’s Ball is a money-making event King Crimson dreamed up, and it cleans up a lot of what they consider useless. BOB is a bitch on the back.

The Cover
The cover is black-and-white with Julian in sunglasses, flashing that six-pack under his open shirt.

The title is the boys and Mollie, for they all have their Wild Ways.

The second book in the Justiss Alliance by Tina Wainscott. I have the first book but didn't realize that until I had already started with this one. Mollie Reagan is looking for her sister and knows that she was with the MC Kings of Chaos. Julian Cuevas sees Mollie and knows she is in over her head.

I liked Julian but I wasn't so fond of Mollie. She had a few too many borderline TSTL moments for my taste. It turned out to be a decent read but nothing very exciting for me. I will probably still check out other books in the series mainly because I've read other Tina Wainscott books and really enjoyed them.

MY THOUGHTS

Wild Ways
starts with our hero Julian and his buddy and former SEAL-Team-Mate Rath finally coming to the end of their Cross-Country Harley-Tour in Oklahoma.
Remember? After their team was discharged from the Navy the guys didn't really know what to do with themselves - and while Sax and Risk already started working for the Justiss Alliance - Rath and Julian wanted to clear their heads for a while - driving their bikes around the country, helping strangers wherever help was needed.
But now Julian finally signed on as a new J-Man - an agent for the Justiss Alliance.

description

Rath is not (yet) ready to work for the Justiss Alliance -

"So, you're really joining this Justiss Alliance. You gonna wear a cape and tights?"

he's out for revenge - he's planning on heading back to Mexico - to find the ones responsible for their 'defuckle'... I hope we'll get to hear his story one day too...

But WILD WAYS is the Story of Julian Cuevas ...

description

and Mollie Reagan.

Mollie quit her job and left home to find her sister.
Diana left with a biker-guy a few months ago and after a very disturbing 'cry-for-help'-phone call from her Mollie knows she has to do everything in her power to find her little sister.
But her powers are running out fast. She doesn't have much money and she doesn't have any real idea how to go about searching her sister - hanging out in biker bars is getting too dangerous.

That's when she comes across Julian - he just said good-bye to Rath and was on his way to start his new job - his new life.
But he can't resist helping this damsel in distress when he overhears her talking about her problems...

description

At first she doesn't want to take his offer - she doesn't trust his motives - this sexy bad boy Latino biker is sooo not her type - her sister is into bad boys - she's more into the boring accountant type of guy....weak guys who need her to mother them...

But then things get serious when the bad biker guys want to kill or at least kidnap her - Julian and Rath get her out of there in the last second. And she realizes she can't keep doing this on her own - she just might need Julian's help after all.

Enter Chase Justiss - he offers his company's services pro bono and makes Julian the Agent in Charge.

But Mollie doesn't want to owe anyone anything and she doesn't really believe that those amazing ex military guys will really want to help her longer than a day or two.

But that's exactly what they do.

Julian and Mollie start travelling from clue to clue - from biker-bar to biker-bar - trying to find new information about Diana or her 'Boyfriend' Brick.

And of course - riding on the back of Julian's bike - verrrry close to him - and spending all that time with him - makes it very hard for her to stay away from this sexy biker-SEAL ☺

Too hard obviously - especially when they have to pretend to be a couple in those bars, so that people won't think they're cops.

description

Even though they only met a few days ago they start having feelings. But it's all too fast and too serious - especially for Mollie. She believes that Julian can't and won't stay. Everybody always leaves. Plus, she has to concentrate on finding her sister - she thinks she's responsible for all of her sister's bad choices.

WILL MOLLIE & JULIAN GET THEIR HEA???
WILL THERE BE A CLIFFHANGER?
I'm not telling you of course - you need to read the book to find out! ☺

I REALLY LOVED THE BOOK

I gave only 4.5 Stars to book #1 in the series, that's why I wasn't really expecting too much from #2 - but I was really surprised...

No wonder - give me a Navy SEAL or a Biker and I'm totally fangirling - but 2in1????? OMG!!!!

description

It really was the perfect sexy Suspense Novel.

The hot, humble, lethal former Navy SEAL - Biker and the sweet shy, brave, innocent Girl on a quest to save her sister.
Fairy-tale material ☺

Julian is such a sweet guy - he grew up with this HUGE Puerto Rican family in Florida and he was always loved. And poor Mollie with her drug-addict mother - her absentee father, growing up at her grandpa's house, she always felt responsible for everything and everyone.

The two of them are sooo perfect for each other. It takes them a while to finally admit it to themselves - well it takes Mollie a while - Julian knows what he wants ☺

description

We have LOTS of sexy moments - and one REALLY sexy non-sex-moment in a public bathroom (men's bathroom!!) phew!!!! ♥

We met all of Julian's team-members again and hear stories about their time as SEALs ☺

And of course the suspense part of the book doesn't get lost in all the romance and talking - it's all very dangerous - to get in the middle of biker gangs and their money-making crimes!!!

A tiny little thing that I didn't like - Julian says I'M MILITARY or I WAS MILITARY a few times - he tries not to say that he was a SEAL, because they're taught to not shout it out at the whole world - but it felt a bit too much to me - as if he tried too hard to be humble about the whole thing, and by doing that he doesn't really sound humble at all.
But pfff - that's just a tiny piece of the huge story!!!!

I really enjoyed reading it.
If you love Romantic Suspense - you will LOVE it - just like I did!

GO GET IT! ☺

My rating: 4 of 5 ⭐️

Mollie Reagan has been desperately searching for her sister, Diana for weeks now. Always a little on the reckless side, she took off with a member of the Kings of Chaos MC and the last thing Mollie heard from her was a phone call for help, which was promptly cut off. Since then, Mollie has been single-handedly chasing down any and every lead she could get her hands on, inserting herself into the dark and dangerous world of gang and biker hang outs, trying to catch a break.

Lucky for Mollie, she catches the eye of sexy ex-SEAL Julian Cuevas, newly signed by the Justiss Alliance, and just in time to save her from gang members getting tired of her persistent questioning. Julian is able to convince his boss to take Mollie's case as his first assignment for the Justice Alliance, but she is determined to stay involved, not trusting him to stay the course. She is accustomed to being left to fend for herself and is grateful for the temporary reprieve Julian offers, but holds no hope that it will last long enough to see through to the end.

She doesn't know Julian, however, who is not in the business of giving up on anyone. Let alone the beautiful, resourceful and courageous woman so determined to take on the motorcycle gangs by herself. With every step they get closer to their objective, Molly surprises him with her dogged tenacity to find her sister. And along with his growing admiration, Julian quickly develops strong feelings for her. But even as sparks and bullets start flying with almost equal intensity, Mollie is convinced this cannot last....

*****

Funtastic and thrilling read, with a slightly darker edge than the first book in the Justice Alliance series!!

This novel certainly has some more serious overtones than book #1 did, with an underlying topic that is quite chilling. Tina Wainscott has done a fabulous job writing a relatively easy to read romantic suspense novel that has been woven into a very dark and gruesome backstory, without letting the entire novel become gloomy and depressing. It has been done in a way that remained respectful to the severity of the topic addressed, yet also stayed true to the more lighthearted and romantic side of the badass boys from the Justice Alliance.

Mollie and her sister grew up rather neglected emotionally, with Mollie attempting to pick up the slack. So it wasn't really a surprise that when Diana took off, chasing after 'true love', Mollie would chase right after her. They were really all the other had. Mollie had the courage of a mother bear and would stop at nothing to get to her sister, which she proves on several occasions. But she is completely surprised to find Julian would throw himself into her battle with as much conviction without expecting anything in return. She expects to have to payout at some point, but it never really comes. In fact, the payout keeps coming her way in its many forms and she frankly doesn't quite know how to handle it.

Julian who is from a large, loud and loving although rather dysfunctional family, never quite appreciated what he had until he could see how the lack of family affected Mollie. Quite an affectionate man, he seems to enjoy being able to make some aspects of Mollie come alive under his 'skillful' hands. And not just in the physical sense, but also her ability to develop trust and to loosen up her tight control. The only thing he can't make her do is see that she is more than deserving of him...... she has to come to that conclusion on her own.

A very exciting, action-packed, sexy and sultry story with a good close look at some of the other Justiss Alliance operatives I am sure we will be seeing in future installments. I will be keeping my eye open, because there are some interesting characters I would LOVE to get to know better!!

✨A fast, dangerous, stirring and provocative ride!✨

Suspenseful chills and romantic thrills is what this book is about. This is a 5+ read all the way! From beginning the author has you laughing one minute with your heart beating out of your chest the next. There was no part of this book I did not like it’s action all the way. The author will keep you on the edge of your seats from the thrilling suspense to the hot passion love scenes. You have it all with this book from drugs, daring escapes, stripers, killings, rapes, biker gangs, violence, guns, Navy seals, hero’s, damsel in distress, and hot men, the list goes on. I don’t think there is one area the author has not covered. This is a book you are not going to want to miss, once you pick it up you won’t want to put it down.

Julian is a hot Latin Spanish lover who is an ex-seal, there is no doubt he is a lethal weapon from the top of his sexy head to the bottom of his sexy toes. He got kick out of the Navy on a bum charge and now spends his days working for Justiss Alliance. Before he starts his new job he runs into a hot little red head that is heading for trouble. He has the toughest of a Navy Seal but is a class act that not many could follow. He has moves like you have never seen in and out of the bedroom. He knows Mollie is head for trouble and he just can’t let a little lady fight the battle alone. He sets on his bike and waits, just when things get a little too hot for Mollie (she is in over head sexy little red head) he rides in and takes her away. AWWWWWW that sounds so sweet doesn’t it, don’t let that fool you this is anything but a wild ride. That is when the fun begins….

Mollie is a loner, a do it yourself kind of girl, she waits on no one, takes care of everyone. There isn’t anyone there to take care of her. That is about to change and she isn’t liking it one bit, she doesn’t trust easy which makes her a strong tough little lady more than a match for Julian. There is only one thing beside a really family that she wants in life and that is to find her sister and get her out of the biker gang before she ends up dead. She hasn’t a clue who the rough looking dude is or why he would helper her for nothing. She just knows she feels safe when he is around but she knows that it can’t last, that soon he will get bored and she will be on her own again looking for and longing for her sister.

What Mollie doesn’t know is Julian never leaves a man (women in case) behind, he is there till the end. He is a seal he serves and protects even if it kills him. Sparks fly from the beginning with these two hot heads in this fast paced, action packed suspense, tear jerk, dark, romance. I just don’t think I can say anymore without giving the book away. There is so much going on in this book, it moves at a very fast pace never leaving you behind. All I wanted to do and had to stop myself from doing was skipping ahead to find out how this wonderful book would end.

I have not read anything by this author, after reading this book I can hardly wait for the next in her series. I will be going back and reading the first ones of this series as well. I do hope one of these stories is about Chase the mystery man we know little about. There are so many wonderful character that stories could be built around which I look forward to reading each one. This book flows so easy it is just a wonderful read you feel you are in the story cheering on the good guys and wanting to take out the bad ones. Wild Ways has a very strong plot with love scenes that will have you breathless. This is a book you will want to read again and again. You really honestly need to pick this book up and enjoy the ride, but it will be a wild ride on the dark side.

ARC via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Y ou can also find this and check out my blog here.

As promised I binge read this series and am binge writing the review for this series and trying my best to get them out to you guys so I hypnotize you to read them and then we all can fangirl over these hot SEALs together. Or if you are a fanboy, we can still chat and stare at the covers together.

Alright I will say with 100% honestly that Julian, the SEAL for this story, is my favorite! I don't know exactly why but his story reached out and grabbed me, pulling me in to get a better grasp and I did not want to let go. Goodness I loved his personality, his genuine personality, his instinct to want to protect anybody in need of help and the bad boy vibe he gives off - especially since he rides a motorcycle.

In Julian's story he doesn't really receive his assignment, he finds his own and that happens to be helping Mollie Reagan find her sister. Usually this isn't Julian's scene however once meeting Mollie he can't think of a way to not think about her and when he realizes the path and risks she is taking to find her sister is not the safest one he has not choice but to help. While Mollie is used to being on her own and not trusting many there is something about Julian that leads to want to be helped and it doesn't hurt that Julian is the kind of wild Mollie may have been looking for.

*sigh*

This book. This book had me staying up till 2 AM to finish because it was so addicting! I could not get enough a Julian, his antics, sultry smiles and dirty thoughts. He was literally head to toe sexy, lethal and beyond gorgeous. But when he and Mollie were together it was like fireworks. I loved how Julian is a womanizer type of guy but believes that Mollie could be the 'one' however Mollie is the girl that has set standards so high that Julian may spend quite a while climbing them. Though as the story progresses on, as the two fight crazy motorcycle, bar fighting, huge guys and speeding away from bullets, Mollie's walls are inching down and Julian is starting to crack her armor just as she does his.

Plus the author goes a step more with the action plot, I swear I felt like I was playing Call of Duty while reading. Shooting the bad guys, riding atop cars to save the girl, fighting on roofs and stakeouts. Throw a little romance in there and BAM you get Wild Ways.

Another point I saw in the book was how the author incorporated the relationships of women in motorcycle groups/gangs and how ridiculed it was. It was nice to get some insight on how women were treated and while it did anger me I was glad to see and hear about this, maybe another type of domestic abuse to out an end to. Don't let this keep you from reading the book though! It all pans out in the end and I am that much more excited to delve into the next SEAL's stories.

Overall I absolutely enjoyed this read and gave it a whopping well deserved 4 stars. Thank you NetGalley and to the publisher for the chance to read and review Wild Way. Thank you readers for reading my review and I will have another post up soon!

Over and out.

What happens when you have a discharged Navy SEAL, Julian Cuevas, from Miami, and a unassuming yet beautiful woman Mollie Reagan cross paths? You get excitement, chuckles, and whole lot of sexual chemistry.
You see Julian and his buddy Rath, (part of the whole SEAL team that was discharged) were parting company. Julian had decided that he could not continue anymore living on the road following leads of who caused the “cluster fuck” that set up his whole SEAL team and with them all being discharged with not any further action. Basically a mock trial for the U.S. getting caught with its hand in the cookie jar.
Julian was going to go work for a fat cat named Chase, where 3 of his team had already had signed on at.
Rath had no sooner left the bar parking lot when a car with a man and woman rolled up. Julian blended further into the shadows so he could get closed to see what they were up to. He realized she is the same woman he had seen at the gas station earlier. The guy was say the man she was to be meeting was already 5 minutes late. That they should leave.
She said no she should wait more time. He was telling her how bad this gang was, that their waiting around was not in their best interest. She gets out to wait, so does he. When a taxi rolls up he thinks better of the situation, he tells Mollie that he can’t do this, she wasn’t paying him enough. He reaches in his pocket pulls out her money and gives it back to her along with the keys to the rental. It was her sister after all she couldn’t leave, and live with herself.
Once the taxi leaves Julian appears out in the open by her car. Hands in his pockets in hopes of appearing less threatening. He does not achieve that though. He asks where her boyfriend’s is going. He finds out from her he had offered his services for a small fee to help her find her sister, who she believes was kidnapped by the Kings of Chaos. Mainly Brick the guy she says she is in love with and he loves her. Mainly Brick helps her with her drug habit. When she first takes off with him there were phone calls, Facebook contact and text. Her last call home to Mollie was disconnected in the middle of Diana’s (Birdy) asking for help.
Mollie has become obsessed putting herself at risk like now and Julian tries to tell her. Offers to help she says, “No.”
So, he leaves only goes down the road texts Rash to come back ASAP and then calls Chase saying what he is dealing with and he needs him yesterday. When the bar maid asked Mollie to pull around back and wait for Billy Bob her important he doesn’t want anyone to see him. She feds uncomfortable and wishes now she lets Julian stay. No soon does she stop when a bike rolls into the lot. She leaves someone from the bar comes out then someone from the bar comes out then life as she knows it changes. I give this 5 stars.

WILD WAYS is a contemporary, suspense romance that is a cross between the newly popular SEAL and Motorcycle Club (MC) sub-genre of romance novels. The second book in the Justiss Alliance Series, it nonetheless can easily be enjoyed on a stand-alone basis as each book focuses on a different former SEAL and his love interest. Chock-full with tons of explosive action, hot steamy scenes, and a beautiful message, this is a book that suspense/action romance lovers will not want to miss.

Julian Cuevas, a hot, Latin, world class sniper, whose nickname is "Houdini" (you can guess why), just signed on with the private security firm, The Justiss Alliance. Before he can take on his first official assignment, however, he meets Mollie Reagan.

Mollie is desperately trying to find her sister, Diana, who was last seen with outlaw biker "Brick", a member of the infamous Kings of Chaos MC. This is a MC that is notorious for their ruthless, horrible treatment of women and other crimes, and Diana--in love with Brick and lulled into the MC's clutches as a result of her drug addiction--is an easy target. Mollie, the perpetual caretaker, is compelled to save Diana at all costs, even when the search takes over her life and causes her to lose her job, as well as, possibly her life.

After meeting her in a bar parking lot, and witnessing her determination and courage first hand, Julian insists on taking on her case "pro bono." Mollie, who has serious trust issues due to numerous past let downs, allows Julian to join her mission, but can't be convinced he's in it for the long haul.

Soon their undercover operations lead them to some situations that require Julian and Mollie to act like a biker couple. I never thought a public bathroom scene, especially one where the pair is just "acting", could be sexy, but Ms. Wainscott definitely proves me wrong in a big way! It doesn't take long for the "acting" to turn real. Leaving Julian and Mollie navigating a seriously dangerous situation with a short fuse to find Diana plus insanely huge trust issues that threaten their burgeoning romance and incredibly, hot passion for one another.

I absolutely loved WILD WAYS! This was my first experience reading Ms. Wainscott's work and it will, no doubt, be the first of many! Ms. Wainscott is a pro at blending the perfect mix of passion, romance and action. She created an admirable hero in Julian with just the right amount of all the characteristics that make you want to fall in love with a hero. I look forward to reading and enjoying the remainder of the Justiss Alliance Series when it is released!

Overall Rating: 4.5 Rockin’ ★★★★☆

This is second book in the Justiss Alliance series by Tina Wainscott, and the first book I’ve read by Tina. Hook me up - I’m jumping on the fan wagon! This is an amazing book! I was hooked the moment I started reading and couldn't put it down. It was an intense roller coaster ride where my emotions ranged from laughing to crying. The two main characters, Julian and Mollie, have so many issues to resolve between them and seeing the outcome made this book truly one of my favorite reads in a long time.

Julian Cuevas is a sexy Latino, Harley riding, ex-Navy SEAL with a dominating personality. When he meets Mollie he knows she is in over her head. Mollie Reagan is searching desperately for her sister, Di who has ran off with Brick a member of the Kings of Chaos MC. She will stop at nothing to bring her sister home. That's how she meets Julian. She is at a seedy biker bar late one night to meet an informant who says he has information about her sister. Unfortunately, he never shows and her life changes forever. The MC wants her out of the picture. That's when Juliann decides he will help her find her sister, and the journey begins. Little do they know what that would entail?

Molly is insecure because everyone always leaves her. She is a woman who has lived a life full of rejection. Her fear of abandonment, rules her thoughts and actions. She thinks Julian will leave her too. Will her insecurities destroy her chance at happiness as she continues to build walls around her heart?

This book has so many twists and turns it is impossible to put it down once the adventure begins. I highly recommend it. Tina Wainscott's writing allows an exciting experience for the reader. You are able to visualize the events as they are happening; feeling the despair, love, heartache, and joy. Thank you so much, Tina, for the many hours of pleasure and bliss I found through your story!

Hero – 4.5 stars
Heroine – 4.5 stars
Plot – 4.5 stars
Steam Level – 4.5 stars
Cliffhanger – No

Would I recommend this book: Oh YES! Bikers, Navy SEALS, Alphas, oh my! And the brotherhood joining together to aid Molly in her quest to find her sister and bring her home, let’s just say they were awesome, too.

Would I recommend this author: Yes. I can’t wait to read her next book, and I plan on getting the first one in this series ASAP!

In Wild Ways by Tina Wainscott, Mollie Reagan is beyond worried after her sister left with a member of the motorcycle gang Kings of Chaos, and then two weeks later receives a call from her sister asking for her that is abruptly cut off. Now Mollie has put her life on hold and is going to bars and the places where the motorcycle gangs hang out, trying to find news of her sister.

Julian Cuevas has finally decided to join the Justiss Alliance and his friends who have already joined the agency. But before he heads to the home base of the agency, Julian and his friend are at a bar saying goodbye while he tries to convince him to join and find the person who was their downfall from the SEALs later. But there is no changing his mind and Julian says goodbye outside the bar.

Only as he is about to leave he sees the woman he had seen at the gas station inside her car arguing with the male in her car. A man that while trying to look tough, obviously doesn’t belong at a bar where bikers hang out. But as he watches the man leaves in a taxi and leaves her alone and in a dangerous place.

Julian was raised to be protective of women and take care of them, so when he sees that she is not leaving he approaches her an offers his services, as a bodyguard or muscle as she had hired the man who left her there alone. But Mollie is not very welcoming to him and her hand immediately goes to the waistband of her pants where she is carrying a gun, something Julian immediately notices, and declines his offer.

Julian decides to act like he is leaving, but after overhearing some of her conversation with the man, he knows that Mollie is going to get into big trouble. Which he soon enough finds when she is about to get shot down by the Kings of Chaos gang in the back of the bar. If it wasn’t for his fast reactions and his perfect aim she would have been killed right there, but now he needs help to keep her safe while trying to find who is trying to kill her and where her sister is.

Wild Ways will keep you at the edge of your seat while Mollie and Julian embark on an adventure trying to locate her sister and keep out of the sight of the Kings of Chaos. With the help of his friends and the Justiss Alliance, Julian and Mollie are about to get inside a very dangerous situation where they will find planned murders and rapes, one that her sister is about to become a victim of, and if Mollie is not careful she too will become a victim at the Kings Ball.

For a great romantic suspense full of adventure that will keep you at the edge of your seat, don’t miss Wild Ways by Tina Wainscott.

Helmets on? Get ready for the ride of your life as one ex-Navy SEAL and one determined sister join forces and threaten to overheat the pages of Wild Ways by Tina Wainscott. Mollie is tough, but maybe not tough enough to handle the world of motorcycle gangs as she is relentless in the search to find her missing wayward sister. When serious trouble arises, her knight on shining chrome rides up to help Mollie out of a situation that is out of control. Julian is one of the Justiss Alliance now, and his larger than life persona is only missing either the wings or the flames to complete his uber-alpha-with-a-heart presence he brings to this fast-paced and intriguing tale. As Mollie accepts his help to find her sister, and they uncover much more going on beneath the surface of the various gangs, danger is never too far away, their identities could be discovered at any time and their sexual/sensual chemistry is off the charts hot! Will Mollie’s sister be found? Will their mission be uncovered? Will their passion start a raging inferno?

Flat out, Tina Wainscott knows how to create strong heroes with honor and heart, as well as women equal to the task of capturing their heart, soul and body. From page one there is action, danger and grit, softened by the tenderness of romance. Tina Wainscott has invited into the minds and hearts of her characters and it’s a wondrous place to be as they struggle with raw emotion and the dangers that await them.

Wild Ways by Tina Wainscott is the second book in the Justiss Alliance series. This is a contemporary romantic suspense story that is filled with action, drama, raw emotions and steamy sex between the two main characters.
Julian Cuevas, aka Salsa aka Houdini has agreed to work for the Justiss Alliance but is finishing his road trip with Rath (another member of the SEALS team). They are leaving a biker bar when Julian spots a woman in the parking lot that doesn’t look like she doesn’t belong. Mollie Reagan is looking for her sister, Diana, who is missing after falling in love with Brick, a member of an outlaw motorcycle gang called the Kings of Chaos. Julian becomes her “knight in shining armor” by rescuing her from being almost killed by members of this gang in the parking lot.
Julian calls Chase Justiss and asks him to take on Mollie’s case “pro bono” and Chase agrees. Julian is a SEAL through and through so he has the skill set needed to do this type of undercover search and rescue. He has Latin charm, confidence and the alpha protectiveness to keep Mollie safe during their undercover search for her sister.
Mollie is a desperately trying to find her sister because she feels like Diana is all of the family that she has left in the world. She doesn’t trust people easily and has built up walls to protect herself from being hurt when she is left again. Mollie is strong and independent because she had to be growing up; but she is still carrying a lot of that emotional baggage.
Tina has written a fast paced story that is darker than the first book in some ways because it shows more of the seamier side of our current world with drugs, strip clubs, missing women and outlaw motorcycle gangs and their cutthroat operations. This book is totally different from the first book in this series and that is very good because Tina takes readers into a totally different world. It still has what I am looking for in a romantic suspense book – action, danger, emotions, fast paced plot and steamy love. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.

WOW HOLY SMOKING HOT I just finish reading this book, and I love it, love the characters, and love how the book turn out to be, this book have some Drama, Romance, and lots of Action, this book had me seating at the edge of my bed, and I did not wanted to finish reading this book, I wanted more I couldn't put the book down, I am gone tried to keep this short.

I love the character of Mollie, at first she seem like she's a shy girl, but the more you read you get to see how she start to turn out, she the type of person that when she get into something she do it with a passion, you get too see how she turn out to be brave and open up.

I love the character of Julian, let me just tell you that from the very begging you get to see his tough attitude, and how passionate he is when he get into something, special when it come to fighting, and the way he talk just love it when ever he throw his Spanish word around ( mami, querida, dios mio,) just love it.

The story start with Julian and his friend Rath, they are outside of a bikers bar, when Rath left and Julian was about to get on his bike, that's when he saw her pull up, the girl that he seen earlier in the gas station, after hearing a conversation that she was having, he when to her and told her that what she was about to do was a bad idea, that's when they introduce themselves, that's when Mollie told him that she was looking for her missing sister, that's when Julian saw that she was not gone give up, and that's when they knew that was the night that was gone turn their life up side down.

Wild Ways was an excellent thrill ride not just in the romance department but the mystery action part as well. The second in the Justiss Alliance Series is every bit as engaging and captivating as the first book in the series. Amazingly enough the story is told with a different tone, this was a little bit darker in theme and plot. Julian has just recently been recruited by Justiss Alliance and was just finishing his cross country bike rid with his buddy Rath. His first assignment was dumped on his lap along with a beautiful redhead who seems capable but definitely over her head in dealing with the notorious biker gang, the Kings of Chaos. Mollie has been searching far and wide for her sister Diana who seems to have gotten herself involve the motorcycle gang culture. She unknowingly becomes a client of the Justiss Alliance when Julian saves her from certain death. From here on the reader is taken into a thrill ride of gangs, stripper clubs, missing women and the dregs of humanity who prey and take advantage of the weak. And while the reader rides this adrenalin high, the romance between a young woman who always puts everyone first and a man who is the epitome of the knight in shining armor slowly unfolds. The Justiss Alliance Series is turning out to be expectantly good but also surprisingly diverse in plot, characters and theme. This is definitely no cookie cutter romantic suspense novels despite being part of a series. Great writing, good plot, great action, looking forward to the next in the series.

LOVE and double love this book, 5stars all the way. This is how the series should be base about. A Navy SEAL in action with a perfect heroine counterpart. I did gave only 3 stars on the first book of the series (sorry), but this one is the what romantic suspense is all about. A great main characters, a flowing suspense plot with the H or h use their special skills to save the day and won the fair handmaiden.
Story starts with our H Julian aka Houdini aka Salsa aka Juju, with his BFF hanging out at a biker bar. In come our h Mollie trying her best to find her missing sister whom last seen hanging out with a biker gang. After a rough spots with the biker gang who want to shut her up, Julian help her escape. Julian is drawn to Mollie determination and spunk in her quest, thus a knight in shinning armour offer his help and co. Justiss Alliance. Mollie, having a trust issue (parents, boyfriend etc always abandon her) reluctant, but realise this mess is out of her league. The journey lead them to biker bar, route 66 and my personal favourite; strip club own by biker gang.
This story lead them in humorous and turned on situation but a respect their quick wit in improvising the get-away. Their chemistry? Combustible. The heated scene at the right place and the right time. Not to early but not too late either. Love the 2nd characters more, behind the scene in ops and also it shed the lights for our mysterious owner of Justiss Alliance, Chase. It is a great book, thumbs up to the author, can't wait for the next one. Recommended

The Justiss Alliance Team ROCKS!!!!

This is the second book in the series and let me tell you Julian is hotter than Risk!!!

5 ex seals, 5 possibly 6 flaming hot books each with their own degree of intrigue.

Julian is a HOT, Harley-riding, Spanish-talking Latin lover!!! Dude has it all and than some!!! He comes (quite innocently) across a women in need and a women in need is something that Julian just can't pass by, so he phones his boss and tells him I have a new case for us.

Mollie thinks little of herself, therefore believes that she isn't good enough. She's quit her job, has little money, and has come up against some badass biker dudes while trying to find her sister.

I don't believe in laying out the whole plot or giving away any of the fun or the unexpected surprises.

The chemistry between Julian and Mollie is flaming hot. You can expect a little bit of everything from drugs, to violence, to nudity, to daring escapes, to frustration, to can that really happen moments, and yes (for me) tears.

If you haven't read the first book in the series, you really should, not because you have to, but because its that good. I have absolutely no patience, so waiting for the next book in this series is torture for me!

Thank you Tina for another awesome ride with awesome characters. I'm looking forward to reading the entire series (hoping Rath joins the team) and maybe even learning the truth about the defuckle.

Wild Ways is much more intense than its predecessors. It keeps you on the edge of desire and suspense and knows just when to push you over.

Julian “Salsa” has finished his road trip with Rath and is ready to settle back into something he’s a little more familiar with, but before he even officially starts he comes across a woman who needs his help, and with the backing of the Justiss Alliance he’ll be able to give it to her. Whether she truly wants everything he’s offering or not.

Mollie needs to find her sister and if it means parading around biker gangs or stripping on stage or trusting a man she knows nothing about she’ll do it. There’s nothing she won’t do to find her sister.

When a not-so-shy Julian tempts a timid Mollie their bodies aren’t the only things to get involved. Emotions run strong between these two as their days and nights heat up, but Mollie is used to everyone leaving her and she’s already made up her mind that he’s no different. Too bad for her…he is different.

I love this series. The action is intense, the suspense is edgy, and the romance is HOT!

My Favorite Laughable Moments: I love Julian’s explanations. Like when he explains how he lied about liking to bite or when he explains why he was hard in the bathroom. His bluntness is refreshing and very entertaining.

My Favorite Moment: Camping out beneath the stars made for both a sweet and pleasurable night.

I fell in love with this series in book one (shocking I'm actually reading a series in order I know) Julian's nature is to be a caring guy, "pretty woman meeting a gang member at a bar at two in the morning. No way was I going to leave you there. Unfortunately, you were as afraid of me as you should have been of the guy you were meeting." Julian has to teach Mollie the ways of being a bada** biker bit**, "you're my BOB, remember? My girl. We probably live together and have had sex a hundred different ways." Mollie the girl knows how to act when in a biker bar, "he ran his hands up and down her back. She reached around him and slid her hands into his back pockets. Hadn't she seen women do that? Which, she realized belatedly, put her hands right over his tight, firm butt." Sometimes Julian forgets that he's pretending, "I totally forgot about where we were, the guy listening, everything but your lovely a** in front of me and the way you felt beneath my hands. And how you responded to my touch. Your boy was hungry for it." Mollie sometimes has to act quickly and Julian isn't sure if he wants to kill her or have sex with her but when she explains what was going through her mind he gets all horny, "damn, Mollie, you were so effing hot up there. Looking at me," he said between kisses. "Touching yourself." He ground his hips into hers, and oh, yes, he was definitely aroused. "I could take you right here."

Wild Ways is the second book in the Justiss Alliance series by Tina Wainscott. It’s completely different then the first book, Wild on You, but still feels as if it’s part of the series. Several of the characters from the first book are in this one but there is enough backstory included that it could be read as a stand-alone novel.

Wild Ways features Julian, who we met in the first book, and Mollie. Mollie is searching for her sister who has gone missing and was last seen with an outlaw motorcycle gang. Julian helps her out of a dangerous situation and, with the backing of the Justiss Alliance, they pair up in the search for her sister. Julian is a great hero. He is charming, sensitive, protective and badass. Mollie is a likeable heroine. She has trust issues and doesn’t believe she can count on anyone to be there for the long haul. She has been abandoned repeatedly and that has taken a toll on her psyche. Julian understands this and works to find a way under her defenses.

I really enjoyed Wild Ways. It’s fast paced and filled with danger, action and romance. The blend of romance and suspense is well balanced. I loved seeing Julian and Mollie come together as they navigated the dangerous world of outlaw motorcycle gangs. It is exciting, steamy and sweet. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Wild Ways, and the Justiss Alliance series, is recommended to fans of romantic suspense.

This is a 4.5 star rating for me. What an exciting and interesting book. The only thing that kept it from being a 5-star read was the main female character Mollie who was just a little annoying--so much baggage that she couldn't let herself love or be loved, just had to hold on to her hurt and her possessiveness a little too long. Hero Julian, however, was a totally hunky Latino ex-Navy Seal with definite skills in handling crises and handling women. It was interesting to see how the ex-Seals (and the security team Justiss Alliance) operated, even under pressure and in adverse conditions. Their total mindset and focus is incredible. This story follows Mollie as she searches in low places for her sister who has run off with a motorcycle gang and gotten involved with some really bad characters. It's ironic that we don't meet sister Di for most of the book although she's everyone's focus. The action is exciting and scary and over-the-top, although I suspect that most of it is all too real in today's no-holds-barred society. This book has everything--sex and violence and love and romance and friendship. I will definitely look for more in this series.

Favorite description of a motorcycle gang member, "She had noticed he was gorgeous, but only in that scary-biker-please-stop-looking-at-me way."

Mollie's sister, Diana, had run off and joined a motorcycle club and now she's gone completely off the grid. Mollie's intuition kicks into gear and she knows something has gone terribly wrong, so she sets out to fine Diana. Along the way, she meets Julian, a former Navy SEAL. Once Julian learns of Mollie's plight, he makes it his mission to help her. That's when things really start to fall apart. With high speed chases, shoot outs, kidnappings and some steamy sex scenes, this is one wild ride.

At first, Mollie is very uptight and very proper. With Julian's help, she eventually begins to open up and discover herself. She is a likable character, someone who's dealt with a lot of disappointment in life, but grows and learns to trust again. Julian is a sensitive badass. During the climax of the story, he really shines and we get to see what he's capable of.

This is a great, action packed story. The words and chapters flow effortlessly to make this an easy read. Tina Wainscott does a terrific job painting vivid images in your mind. There are two scenes that will likely stick with you, the bathroom scene and the camping scene, both quite sizzling. The fact that it's about a motorcycle club and not the typical drug cartel/weapons dealer is a refreshing plot. Wild Ways by Tina Wainscott is definately worth reading.

Thank you NetGalley for the pleasure of reading and reviewing this book.

Where can you go wrong with motorcycle riding SEALs? Uh, nowhere apparently. I didn't know this was a fairly new series by Tina Wainscott/Jamie Rush until I got about a quarter into it and had to look it up. Needless to say, I bought the first book and the series prequel. I've always thought guys who ride bikes were sexy, but this book shows the nasty side of the outlaw clubs. It really didn't hide how they see women which is pretty disgusting. But Julian and his buddies....yeah, I can get behind those guys. Mollie had a few TSTL moments but I think they actually work in the story instead of making me roll my eyes at her. The only thing I didn't like was towards the end when she starts second guessing her feelings for Julian and he's feelings towards her. That is a huge issue I have....apparently after all the stuff Julian does for her and her sister, who he's never met, Mollie automatically thinks he won't want her and she's not good enough for him. I always want to smack the person thinking that, I mean they spent the entire book helping you and suddenly that means she's not good enough? Or they don't believe the other person really loves them for some lame reason. But I digress, this book had plenty of action and some hot sex with a hard bodied SEAL. Totally worth the read.

This is the second book in the Justiss Alliance series by Tina Wainscott. The very first thing I loved about this book is that at the end of the book she dedicates this book to the Billig Family who's daughter became involved with an outlaw motorcycle gang and disappeared. Tina gives us an intense story of Mollie, a young woman who is trying to find her sister Di. She has gotten mixed up in an Outlaw Motorcycle Gang and this is not a good gang. The Justiss Alliance helps Mollie find her daughter. I really enjoyed the fact that Julian who works for the the Justiss Alliance tries so hard with Mollie. He loves so many characteristics about her that she doesn't see in herself. I loved how he helped Mollie blossom from who she started out as to someone who could love him as much as he loves her.

This is such a great series and each character has such depth. I really admire Ms. Wainscott for her ability to pull me into her stories. With the last part of the book, my husband said I was holding my breath and he could tell how involved I was by my body language. To me that is the sign of a great book.

Thanks to Netgalley and Ms. Wainscott for allowing me to read this book to give an honest review!

I have to admit I was pretty excited when I discovered this was Julian Cuevas' turn. We've heard about his family and their con artist ways, and knew his story was going to be good. I wasn't disappointed...But I was a little surprised. I didn't expect Julian to exude uber alpha out of his pores but wow...Wainscott writes him as a man in control.

Mollie Reagan is a strong female lead in her own right. Chasing after, to rescue, her wayward, motorcycle gang joining sister., Mollie definitely has some hutzpah of her own.

The story maintained a strong balance of plot, action, romance, and malevolent intent. The evil in this story was just that...very heinous. The situations our characters face were extremely disturbing and atrocious, while the sizzling attraction between Mollie and Julian would melt your socks off.

If you are looking for a fast-paced, action-packed, dark, contemporary romance, Wild Ways is the book for you.

I received an ARC copy of Wild Ways from Random House Publishing Group - Loveswept in exchange for an honest review. This book is set for publication on May 13, 2014.
