The Anti-Soccer Mom isn't afraid to tell all. Flipping off the PTA, running through the store dressed as wonder woman for Tampons, Jen Philips has done it all. If it can go wrong and it involved children, Jen has done it with flair, someday she will figure out why there is Jelly on the living room ceiling but until then she is just happy wearing her crown as the world's worst mother and housewife. So maybe its just a pee stained Toilet seat she puts on her head as a tiara, so what, its hers and she owns it!
This book is a must read for any parent but especially parents with multiple kids. Pixi writes all of the things we sometimes think but don't have to guts to actually say out loud. I have never laughed so hard reading a book. The situations that arise in her life are beyond hilarious. But all of what might be considered bad luck make for quite an interesting read. Her sense of humor and wit is side splitting. I am truly looking forward to having the opportunity to read more of her tales. In a time where all reality television is scripted it is enjoyable to about the real life chaos that occurs in her family.
This book truly hit the five Star mark for me. I laughed along with the book just reminded me so much of myself when my kids were little. The ups and the downs the way we handle our kids to the good and the bad. It sure hit home for me I hope you'll enjoy this book as much as I did. Happy reading.
Sometimes I randomly read books for fun, the title of this jumped out at me, so I gave it a try! It was a fun story and brutally honest enough that I am tempted to pass along to my baby hungry 18 year old daughter to help deter her from children for a while. I loved much of the story and had a few good laughs!
OMG this book is frickin hilarious it almost had me in tears it was that funny. Pixi is a fab author and I think people should definitely check out this book. A definite must read.
