The only genius I had the great fortune of knowing personally...being a student of South Point High School...even some of his essays like 'Dhokra Kamar' reads like dizzying fiction...the greatest writer in the post-independence Bangla literature.

Invaluable from the perspective of either a lover of esoteric aspects of Bengali folk culture & literature, or that of a researcher. Rather dry (and quite impenetrable at times) for others. Take your pick.
