He was tall with long, black hair. He wore a suit, and he wore it well – it was tight-fitting and hugged his lithe body. He was talking heatedly with another man in a suit near a door marked “employees only.” As Molly watched he laughed and patted the other man on the shoulder, and then turned and made to walk away – but then he caught her eye. She suppressed a squeal – she didn’t know why, but she would have squealed if she hadn’t made the conscious effort to stop it – and looked away.
She felt more than heard his presence behind her, and her whole body froze. She felt like a shadow had just descended on the entire aisle. Who was this man and why was he standing behind her? She suppressed the urge to turn around. She didn’t know why but the idea of turning around was terrifying to her. Well, she did know why – he was incredibly attractive and he was close to her. She wasn’t very good with attractive men. She wasn’t very good with men in general. Finally she heard him – heavy breathing, in and out, slow, rugged breaths.
I read this for entertainment value on the instruction of my sister who said it was the worst she'd ever read. To save anyone else losing 30mins of their lives, I've summed up the story below ...
She woke up and thought "I'll go to the shops, oh no I don't need anything, I won't go to the shops". She went downstairs and her mother was in a very bad mood as she had no eggs, so she got to go to the shop after all. Whilst looking for eggs (and thinking how wondrous supermarkets are) a man came and held her hand and gave her the option to walk away or follow him. She followed, removed her clothes, let the man touch her and then was thrown out. She goes home thinking this wasn't normal. She then goes off to college and is on a night out. Takes a man home, and the normally shy girl too scared to say "dick or tits", makes the man do all kinds of things to her. She wakes up the next morning to a note from nightclub man and arranges to meet him on the street. She sees supermarket man on the street whilst waiting for nightclub man and goes with him instead. The End
Seriously how did this ever ever get into print? It is worse than a low budget porno with no story and the kind of vocab my 6yr old niece would use in writing a story (not the sex bits!), I've never read anything like it.
This book was ridiculous. First it starts out telling us how shy Molly is and how she has always been this way, then goes right into her following a complete stranger into a back room and almost having sex with him and talking dirty as hell. Then snap forward to her leaving for college and she is taking a guy home and having dirty sex and not once is she shy about any of this. IT just didn't make any sense.
My Billionaire is one of those stories where not much at all makes sense... Molly was described as being extremely shy, and not at all open about her sexuality. Then, she went to the store to buy eggs for her mom, and followed a mysterious man who said his name was Damien to his office. There, she let him bring her to orgasm while he was essentially belittling her and calling her a slut and a whore. Just after this, at her first evening on her college campus, she was drunk and one guy tried to get in her pants against her will, and another guy saved her. She promptly brought that guy home with her and had wild sex with him all night - but this time, she was the dominating party. Good thing this was very short, and free, if not I might have been a little upset. The writing is a little bit erratic too, going from one moment to the next with no transition.
Some quotes:
He broke off the kiss and grabbed her by the neck, digging his nails in. "What are you?" he said. His voice was different now - and she liked it. "Your slut," she said, staring into his mismatched eyes. "I'm your personal little slut, Damien." "Yes you are," he said.
She found his lips and they kissed, saliva and blood mixing together.
I know this is a short story but it seems that there's something missing...... the STORY! I could see where the author was going but thought she tried to do to much in just two short chapters. The female character is supposedly shy and somewhat reclusive and yet ends up having two uninhibited sexual encounters with two different men who are virtual strangers.I know this is supposed to be fantasy but I felt the author could have crafted the story better.
This book contradicts itself constantly. At first she's this wallflower, shy girl, and have been shy for her whole life. Next a stranger in a suit comes up to her in a grocery store and she instantly becomes a raging slut, literally she INSTANTLY becomes a raging slut in all of one minute. I found myself at the beginning of this book waiting for it to end.
A one fucked-up story. The attitude and the way the author is describing the heroine is wasy different by the way she acts. She's shy...that's what she says.., but she acts like a slut. Errr...a big NO NO for me. It's contradicting and the emotions weren't just right.
another free read that i just dont understand...there is no character development at all and the main character contradicts how shes supposed to be..i own it on kindle but im deleting it rating 0/5 it was just bad...just really bad
Ok, so at the beginning I was like ok shy girl, quiet, and very much to herself. Then the kicker: grocery store and a man in suit. Then the story goes down hill from there.
I mean she is no shy girl. She is a SLUT!
I get where the author was going but it was just executed horribly.
Molly is going off to college and is interested in Damien, but when she gets there they go to a party and she is reunited with her childhood boyfriend James. This is just a prelude of things to come.
weird, the female lead claims to be shy and can't stand to hear words with a sexual meaning then she is practically having sex in an office of a supermarket with a complete stanger!!
Worst "erotica" I've ever read. How does Molly go from being shy and getting flustered when her mom talks about sex, to being all sexual? Made no sense. What a crap book
I had a hard time finding this story even somewhat believable! How old is she? 18? For someone who is a self professed prude she is pretty daring....with strangers non the less!
