Reneice “Neicey” Peake is a hardworking 18 year old that goes to school and works a 9 to 5. Losing her mother at a young age and never knowing who her father was forced her to be raised by her older brother, Ramone.
Ramone did the best he could to keep his sister on the straight and narrow but, when he gets locked up, he leaves his sister to fend for herself. Neicey meets Le’Lani and they form an unwavering friendship. However, Neicey’s life changes forever when she is introduced to Mykell, Le’Lani’s older brother. She falls head over heels for Mykell but what she doesn’t know is he comes with some extra baggage!
Will Neicey be able to handle Mykell and all of his drama and be his Official Girl, or will they be forced to go their separate ways in the end?

Probably spoilers... just an fyi
Um... so yeah I was digging the book and then it became extremely simple... and unfocused. Like okay lets everyone pause for a minute and stop worrying about who is sleeping with who and worry about who the hell has taken this baby... Like it seemed like no real focus was put on finding MJ... wtf.
That threw me the hell off seriously... ewww and Reneice needs some help, not only is she young but I am pretty sure she is bi-polar or has some type of mental illness and everyone is just walking around like she is completely sane... I get sometimes you can pop off but.. yeah her ish was next level.
I think it's her age and actions that are turning me off this book... I am going to give book 2 a chance but if she is the same I think book 2 is where I shall be ending.

I have had this book for a long time and finally got a chance to read it.Im so glad I didn't because this book had my attention from the first page.I can't believe the drama and secrets that came out in the book.I can't believe Neicy and the bullshit she had to deal with.That ending was hella crazy I can't wait to read part two

Horrible ending
I'm very disappointed in the ending. The storyline was good until the end. If the book has a cliffhanger, please let me know before I waste my time reading the book. The ending rates the book as a 3 or lower.

Congrats on the debut!! From the moment he was released from from prison I was in love with Mykells character. He was far from perfect but who is. The dynamic of him and Nieceys relationship is very relatable. I loved the bond shared between the characters. The story line was well developed. The ending really left me screaming, swiping my finger for more pages. It was the good. Looking forward to the next installment.

This book was nothing but drama, lies, lust, and love from beginning to end. Reneice ain't nothing nice and she's not the one to play with. She's a smart girl, but if you make her angry, you better watch out. She's my kinda girl. Now Kya on the other hand is a poor excuse for a person. Just trifling, dumb and quite thirsty. Mykell really worked my nerves. He needs to make up his mind of who he wants to be with. I really like him with Reneice. Hmmm. We shall see.

Omg I read this book so fast and ending omg I'm lost for words the story line was epic and the characters were awesome I would honestly like to hear more from Lani but hey it was good I hope Neicy doesn't do anything she is going to regret

I was not expecting that ending. Niecy has had enough. I can't wait to read part 2. I want to know who got shot. I also feel like Kamil has something to do with everything that's going bad for niecy.

A Page Turner
The book was a easy and quick read. At first I thought I would not like the book with so many different characters being thrown at me in the first chapter. But the flow of the story start to improve and have me wanting to read more of this author books.

I loved this book. It kept me wanting for more. I bought part 2 the next day and was done within 2 days. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a hood love story.

Im loving this series so far...actually put me in the mind of me a little...but girlfriend is a lot more edgier than me ....Reniece is strong as all get out just wish she would cut whorish Mykell off for good...but matters of heart touchy....
