That's all a book is really, a getaway from the world, an escape. "I want every word of every sentence to be evocative. If I can't make you feel, taste or smell every scene that I create then what's the point?" Romance and passion goes hand in hand but when you add to it detailed and vivid sex scenes you're left with an explosive concoction. He has blended all three harmoniously in his first romantic novel, Inevitable. Born and raised in the small city of Inkster, Michigan Johnie Jay looks forward to sharing his imagination with the world!

Sexy,sexy,sexy!!!
Introducing Johnie Jay! He is a new voice on the scene of romantic erotica and definitely one to watch! I loved this book! It kept me up at night, it made me laugh, made me think, but most of all had me horny as hell! He writes so vivid you really feel like you are a character in the book. I will say when he writes from the female voice she tends to sound a little valley girl and cheesy at times, but oh my his male voice is on point! The bar scene with Carolina was off the chain, the dancing scenes with Juwaun were insanely sexy, and the phone chats with Michael Baisden were over the top! The ending left me wanting more and I can hardly wait until this upcoming Spring to get all of the answers to my questions!!! Will Angel and Future ever really meet? Will Angel hook up with her girl Bri? Will Future sink or swim with Carolina? Will Angel stop chasing the fantasy man and give Juwaun her time, or is he really too good to be true? Will Future and Ms. Red Dress stop playing around? Will Angel find out who she drunk sexting with? I want to know, have to know, NEED to know and it's gonna be super hard waiting til Act 2 is released! In the meantime I might just have to read Act 1 again, I'm not ready to let go of the characters!! ;D

Angel is fresh from a relationship and determined to remain single and have some fun. She is constantly intrigued by a mystery man that seems to show up everywhere. She just knows this mystery guy will be the one that can get her to change her mind about her relationship status. After being hurt by many women in the past Future decides to live the player lifestyle. He sexes them and moves on. That may change if he could just get closer to this one woman that keeps appearing in front of him. If only he could get closer to her. Will Angel and Future remain a mystery to each other or will they finally get to have their way with each other?
This was my first read by Johnie Jay and I thoroughly enjoyed it. This book has all of the steamy and detailed scenes to really bring the story to life. This book was a perfect mix of erotica and romance. This is a series I will be continuing with because I need to know what will happen next for these characters. My only hope is that the author will give a little more background information on 2 of the minor characters he introduced in book 1.

This book was a perfect mix of erotica and romance. This is a series I will be continuing with because I need to know what will happen next for these characters. My only hope is that the author will give a little more background information on 2 of the minor characters he introduced in book 1.

It took awhile for me to get into it but once I did I'm glad that I Stuck with it. I loved the erotic filled scenes that left you wanting more. This book have some very funny parts that i couldn't help but laugh at.I didn't care to much for the ending.Over all this is a great read that i'm sure you will enjoy and get lost in it for hours.

I hadn’t sat down to read a book in a very long time because my schedule hasn’t allowed me to. But I was most intrigued to read this book from newcomer Johnie Jay simply because he has a way with words. How can I describe this book without giving away too much? I felt like I was taken back to the times of Niobia Bryant, Eric Jerome Dickey, or my all-time favorite Darrien Lee. I had fallen in love with these characters simply because they seemed so real. I felt as if they were talking directly to me. And the sex, OMG, it wasn’t nasty, it wasn’t bland it was more than I had expected in a GREAT way. I laughed, I rooted for, I was aroused, and simply put; entertained. Good job and I can’t wait for part 2 as I am sure Angle and Future will finally fall madly in love.

I really wanted to love this book but I can only like it. The writing is the best I have seen from a new writer in quite a while, very on point.
The story is supposed to be about Angel and Future as a couple however, they never meet.......formally. The story chronicles the frustration of dating which in itself was humorous but at the end it left me empty and not wanting more. I don't care for cliffhangers thus making it difficult to review the book appropriately.

REAL LIFE IS IN THIS BOOK!!!
As I was reading this book I was thinking about how me and my girls talk when we getting ready to go to the club and after the club..... I really thought Future and Angel was going to be together after all the run in they had...... About to start act 2............

I absolutely love your writing style. it was if I was placed in the center of Future and Angel's lives. Quite the page turner. I did not wish to put it down. The sex scenes were great and not overly done or too dramatic to where it wouldn't seem real. Bravo Sir Bravo

Loved it! I couldn't put it down. Enjoyed reading how Angel came out of her shell. Can't wait to see if her and Juwaun hit it off or if she'll ever get with her “mystery“ man Future. Kandi has Future wide open waiting to see what happens with that storyline. All in all it was a great read!

Angel and Future! (That is all)....what a great book! It took me awhile to get into it but once I did it was own. It was a fun book full of laughter and secrets. The characters were well written as well as the book. I can't wait to read the next installment!

I usually don't like to write negative reviews but this book was all over the place.
At first I can say I was really into this book but the author didn't do a great job sticking to a topic, and the way it ended wasn't great at all.. Disappointed
