Yet another round of Rosario+Vampire for me!
Are you ready for snow fairies? Yep, those are a thing! Except, this time we're away from the Academy and thrown into the world of snow fairies. This book veers off from the normal high school shenanigans, which is why I think this book wasn't as big of a hit with readers. I do like the cover and I am super intrigued with the plot line, but it is a step away from the norm. If you're okay with not following the same old formula, this book will work for you. If you're not... Well, read it to just know what's going on. Suffer through.
I really enjoyed this addition and think it will bring some more lore into the store. I'm super intrigued what the prophecy is around the snow fairies and hope we get some more action for the ladies. I'm enjoying their little heists, instead of just focusing on Tsukune.
Overall, great read! I had fun!

I felt so much pain from this Volume to the point were I started to hate it. But it does have my favorite

Another exciting install ment in this fun supernatural series. The first story brings back pervy werewolf Ginei - as he becomes the suspect in a series of attacks on female students. The following three stories follow our heroes adventures as they visit snow fairy Mizore's home for her coming of age ceremony. She must find a mate or be forced into an arranged marriage and her heart is set on Tsukune!
Moka really takea a back seat in this one the focus being Mizore. Still an excellent story with the same level of artwork I've come to expect from the series. even as a supporting character Kurumu continues to shine and I love the cheeky lesbian hint between her and the snow fairy - the mix of innocence and sexuality makes the two parallel each other perfectly as does their doomed affection for Tsukune.
Have volume 4 on hand because this volume ends on a cliff hanger.

We learn alot about the snow fairies here, and see the deepening friendships. I really like how everyone gets along despite being rivals.

What to do on a hot July day option one: stay inside a cool room, option two: go to the beach, or option go to snow fairy country. It seem the gang is on another trip again as they visit Mizore's home to take part of a traditional ceremony. It beats the heat kind of, if you were a snow fairy that is. But there's another reason why Mizore wanted them to come in the first place and it involve one obvious someone for that to happen. Catch up on this next exciting issue of Rosario + Vampire.

This started with the return of one of my favorite characters after a long time away. I'm hoping to see more of him in the future. We then transitioned into the main story of the volume centering on the ice fairies and their culture. This was a great look into a character who we haven't gotten to spend much personal time with, seeing as she spends most of her time lurking in the background. I had a great time with this volume and am glad to continue on with the series.

Nice to see Gin again even if its for a short time. While I am grateful we are finally starting to learn more about Mizore with the main focus being on her family and culture. But still kind of boring however it does get kind of emotional at the end of the volume.

Pretty decent vampire manga, love some of the characters and art but the story wasn’t that great! Definitely prefer the anime 😁👌❤️

Just FYI, I finished this, and was still on the fence about dropping it. After reading a quarter of vol. 4 though, I was done. The BS present in the next volume is so disgusting that I just couldn't deal with it anymore.

This volume is mostly concentrated on Mizore,the snow fairy and her quest to find a mate due to her species’ inability to have children in older ages.
We see a peek of Moka and Koko’s older sister at the end as well.

My concerns after reading volume 1 have been erased. This is definitely a harem manga, but with some adventure thrown in to keep things interesting. Good story and good art!

This book starts off with a random chapter involving Gin. It’s been a good while seen we’ve seen him. He is rather useless as club leader, since he is basically never around. The chapter paints him as a villain yet again. Girls at Yokai Academy are targets for a prankster going around tearing up their clothes.
The rest of the chapters focus on Mizore. Big surprise considering she is on the cover, right? The gang goes to Mizore’s village for the weekend. There is some kind of ceremony she is going to attend, and her mother requests she bring guests.
This section covers some information on Mizore’s childhood, as well as her culture. At one point, I said Mizore’s parts of the story tend to be unsettling and sad. That comes out significantly in this volume. It always pulls at my heart strings.
There is a cliff hanger. As with most volumes, the events are cut off to be finished in the next volume. The cliff hanger is not huge. It’s the kind where someone unexpected shows up.
Kurumu really shines in this volume. Her passion and determination are important to the drama of the story and holding the group together. She always seems to be on an emotional rollercoaster, acting like she is furious and hates someone, and then expressing her compassion for them two minutes later. I think she significantly outshines Moka here. Moka and Yukari and the rest seemed to take a back seat to Mizore, Tsukune, and Kurumu.
The bonus comics at the end are silly, as usual. No questions, mostly a bunch of sillies about what happened in the last few pages.

We finally get to see Mizore's home, the Land of the Snow Fairies. It was an exciting volume which ends on a cliffhanger, by introducing us to two new players: a human who is trying to forge an alliance with the Snow Fairies.......but it involves forcing Mizore to be his wife and Kahlua.....Moka and Koko's older sister. I can't wait to find out what happens next, so I am starting the 4th volume right now.

I like this series and how it gets more complex with every book. The situations stay interesting and the characters grow more complex and I think it is exactly what a good book needs. I think the artwork is good too. Can't wait for the next.

Getting to learn about the backstory and culture of the Snow Fairies was REALLY awesome, as Mizore is my favourite character. They also set up some REALLY crazy plot twists and added a character I did NOT expect. One of the best in the series so far!

Rosario+vampire is a good akuma based manga. It has a good art style and a good plot line. The akuma concept is good and very entertaining. Characters are good and interesting. The second season of rosario brings more plot, characters and twist. Very entertaining and darker than the first season.

I liked this story about the snow faeries, nice to know what's behind that girl with the lolypop in her mouth.
