When Kels Havoc's lover leaves him to participate in the high sex games on the far side of the universe, he wants to chase after her and convince her to come back, this time for good. Unfortunately, Captain Kels gambled away his beloved ship to pay a debt. Fate seems to smile on him when a strange girl offers a proposition that might solve all his problems.
Sayal Iluma can tell no one what she truly is, an alien/human hybrid, an illegal life form on the run. Having fled her Prime alien creator's deep space liner four months earlier, Sayal has landed in the proverbial armpit of the Sentient Universe. With time, however, she realizes running away is not the answer and now seeks revenge. If she can find a sex partner as well as passage to the high games, which the Prime follows, she'll regain entry to his ship and there she'll kill him.
Having just seen Kels' harridan girlfriend finally leave their lives, first mate Elion Andervaars is concerned Sayal will be the next to come between him and Kels. For years, Elion has carried a torch for his captain. He worries this moneyless girl is taking advantage of his boss's big heart. Still, he finds himself affected by her beauty as well and softens enough to offer a compromise: If she and Kels will go one round in the local sex games, proving she's serious, he'll agree she can travel with them. Of course, first they need to win back their ship.
But this gamble is only the first of many. Sayal's creator is in an unholy alliance with the ruthless military complex, and Sayal's at the heart of his diabolical plans. Only by risking their lives, and their love for one another, can the three save the SenVerse and win their freedom at last.

First off I have to thank Kris (KindleRomance) for recommending this book to me.
It's been a VERY long time since I've read an erotic futuristic Sci -Fi romance and I have to say that this book was AMAZING!! The story line was FANTASTIC and with the incredible imagination used made it very hard to put the book down. Also the characters were extremely interesting and original. Of course this book brought the heat with the story revolving around sex games, LMAO! LOVED IT!! But this book was so much more than that.
Kel's Havoc is the captain of his space craft called the Ash Nova. His ship mate and best friend is Elion who just happened to be in love with Kel's for a very long time but never took the initiative to get a romance going. Kel's of course knew how Elion felt and he was attracted to him too but just let it slide because he was into having sex with all the lady Birds and did not want to jeapuratise their friendship and working relationship. Kel's was also into the sex games and the book opens with Kels and his gamespartner Keeva going at it HOT AND HEAVY!! WHEW WEEEE!! HOT I TELL YOU!! When they finally conclude having sex and they had won the day with a record breaking performance, Keeva tells Kev that she leaving him and going to the Rim where she can perform at the sex games there and make more money. Kel's leaves Keeva and find's Elion to inform him that he wants to follow Keeva to the Rim the only thing is, Kev lost his ship while gambling and he needs to win it back. Needless to say this does not appeal to Elion. Elion can't stand Keeva, he know's that Keeva is not in love with him and that she has been just taking advantage of Kev's big heart. In walks Sayal Iluma the heroine of this story. She has a proposition for them. She's like to hire them to take her to The Rim and she would also like to join the sex games there as Kev's gamespartner. This is where the story really takes off and I have to say that I really could just go on and on about it and what I loved about this book so lets clear that up right now, I loved EVERYTHING, LOL!
I HIGHLY recommend this book to everyone who enjoy's an AMAZING read with EXCELLENT Imagination, SCORCHING love scenes, some really good action and of course really original characters.
Warning, this book contains M/W, M/M and M/W/M scenes that just may over heat your readers.
Given how this Kindle Unlimited offering starts with an exhibitionist sex game and a very graphic shudder, grunt and shout on the first page, I was prepared for forthright sci-fi erotica with a capital "E." I was pleasantly surprised to find it was more. Linda Gayle creates fully realized characters in Kels and Elion. They were likable fellows, long-time friends and "good men for such scoundrels", but very different from one another. "Where Havoc was bold sunshine and big mountains, Elion was cool, deep waters and snow on the meadow." They are certainly two men I would like to have in my corner if I were running from scary people, stranded in a strange and dangerous place, and could be executed on the spot if my alien DNA were detected. Sayal is no dummy and takes advantage of the basic kindness oozing out of these two space heroes.
Thanks to the alien DNA, Sayal has certain empathic skills that she uses to sway the two gentlemen to her way of thinking. Not that much artificial swaying is needed. They are headed to the same distant sex games and could use a paying passenger. Plus, Kels is a complete hound and fancies the beautiful Sayal. Long-suffering Elion, who has carried a torch for Kels, realizes he will be shunted aside again with Kels' fascination with Sayal. Given Sayal's sensuous, empathic and sly nature, lots of feelings begin to erupt among the threesome. Surprisingly, the full-on sex scenes are reserved for the middle third of the book. There is a credible "getting to know you" period for an erotica book, and the last third is full-on fighting and adventure once Sayal's creator catches up to her.
I rate this a solid 3.5 stars (rounded to four). There was a lot to like about this book: good secondary characters, main characters who stay true to themselves, emotional entanglement, steam, solid action and a truly original alien spaceship. Also, if you are into tattoos in any way, you need to pick up this book. The tattoos are practically characters themselves.
Interesting world (alien species seeds planets & experiments with life forms, religious strife), but the characters lacked complexity - sweet, doe-eyed heroine who soothes her heroes with a quality BJ, stud-muffin pirate, and his second in command who pines not so secretly for him - they felt like puppets in a porny Sci-fi opera. The insta-love, jealously, and longing felt insincere and corny. Good idea poorly executed.
I really liked this book. I'm usually not drawn to futuristic fantasy romance but something about this story stuck with me. I couldn't put it down once I started reading. I applaud the author's imagination, creating the world brought to life in this story. The characters were well developed with very differing personalities. I loved the pace in which the author developed the emotional connection between the heroin and the two equally "prime" heros.
Thank you, Linda, for a refreshing new-world escape.
I really enjoyed this book by author Linda Gayle! I was gripped by the story from the very beginning and the plot was original and well thought out. The three main characters were excellent and their interactions were very believable. In the style that reminded me in a vague way of the universe of Star Wars, this was a story about a swashbuckling lothario of a ship Captain, his loyal first mate ( who also happened to love him) and a damsel in distress who was far more than she first appeared to be. The plot moved along with out any slowing and the story ended in a HEA. Just loved it and recommend it to any lover of science fiction romance!
This was a great story to read and I love the imagination that author Linda Gayle has provided. It’s always interesting to envision a futuristic world and the changes that the human race has to endure in order to survive. Heroes Kels and Elion were a perfect yin and yang and I enjoyed their relationship taking that final step. Sayal has a lot of emotional depth because she was “created” and sheltered so when she experiences something new the reader feels the same way. ~ Natalie, www.ireadromance.com
I really enjoyed the story and characters. The ending did feel a bit rushed, like there was more there that could’ve been done or the open possibility of a sequel. The writing was great. It painted a very vivid picture of the world. I wished the author had spent more time developing the ending, especially the extra character that helped them at the end. It definitely felt open ended a bit. Like it need an extra chapter at least. The main characters definitely carried the story, It was an entertaining and steamy read.
