It's no secret that I'm a HUGE fan of Evie Rose. This book was fabulous!!

Anwyn needs a place to stay for the night. She goes to her ex-boyfriend's house, hopeful that his father is home so she can sleep for the night. Benedict is a mafia boss and it shows! He takes one look at her, bedraggled and soaking wet from the rain, and demands she stay at his house for the night. This goes on for 6 months. They get closer every weekend. One night, he gets intel that she's going to be kidnapped so he goes to her rescue. That triggers them getting even CLOSER.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HOW IN BEN'S POV HE'S CONSTANTLY SAYING/THINKING: "my girl, sweet girl, my darling" ughhhh I need a Ben in my life!!!

Y'all... the spice in this novella is chef's kiss!! Evie writes some amazing spice that'll heat up your kindle in no time. The chemistry between Anwyn and Ben is insane. It's a lighthearted novella with some dark aspects (such as kidnapping and dubcon) but don't worry, there's lots of fluff too!!

EXTENDED EPILOGUE: AHHHH. I have been ruined. That was probably the hottest thing I'll ever read! You can check it out from Evie Rose's website. <3 I love that she does extended epilogues! It makes the books even more rewarding.

This is the first book/novella that I have read by Evie Rose…I WILL BE READING MORE! I absolutely loved every second I spent reading this book. I enjoyed the relationship between Benedict and Anwyn. The spice… was spicey! I am a big fan of touch and her die vibes, and Claimed By The Mobster certainly delivered those vibes!

If you are looking for something to read, I suggest you read this!

I almost laughed when I found out the Wyn didn’t travel across town in the night and rain to seek refuge in her ex’s kingpin dad’s house because she was in danger. No, it was because her roommates were partying too loud lol. Ok girl you do you.

They fall into this comfortable weekend pattern for six months and fall in love. Ben knows it’s wrong on so many levels but when he almost loses Wyn he can’t deny himself just one night with her. Will Wyn is having none of that. She’s an all in kind of girl.

I wish they had given me a little bit more reason as to why Ben changed his mind from “this can never happen again” to “I love you, have my babies” in the span of like 30 minutes.

A cute read. I’m really not a mafia person but Evie Rose writes mafia stories that are “mafia lite” for those of us who only want to dip our toes in. She’s becoming one on my favorites for obsessed heros.

Sweet and steamy novella, virgin FMC crushes hard on her ex-boyfriend’s dad who is a London mafia lord (?!) and very protective etc etc. There’s a bit of push-and-pull, but blink and you’ll miss it.

There’s a lot to like and nothing I actively disliked here. It’s probably one of the better steamy novellas I’ve read, although I think I’m getting burnt out on this category. If I had read this book 6 months ago I probably would have rated it 4.25 stars.

A story about a college student as well as an ex to the mafia boss's son finds her way to the mafia boss’s house while trying to find a place to stay while her roommates party and while it also rains outside. The mafia boss controls alot of territory in and around London. From the first moment that their eyes met they both were attracted to one another but neither one would say anything about it due to the age difference as well as her being his son’s ex-girlfriend.
She would come to stay there on the weekends and go back on Sunday. It had been six months since the first time she came to the mafia boss’s house and during that time they got closer to each other, they even grew strong feelings. The blossoming of love grew between them as well.
When he got the call from his second in command about the girl was going to be kidnapped he had to go himself to get her, there was so much fear and dread in him that something bad would happen to her. He got there when a guy drugged her but he killed the guy then took her to his place, he stayed with her the whole time and had a doctor check her out to make sure that she would be okay.
When she woke up they talked, she wanted to leave but he couldn’t let her go because of the kidnapping so he locked them in the room and threw the key out the window. They made an agreement about them having one night together even though neither one of them wanted it to be just one night. Once he found out about her being a virgin he decided that he wasn’t going to take that from her. He gave her oral sex as well as used his hands to give her multiple orgasms. Afterward they bathed together where he gave her more orgasms then he dried her off and put her to bed.
The next morning she watched him while he was sleeping. When she went to grab him he woke up. They talked and she wound up getting upset, she found out that he had another key to the door. Taking the key from him she opens the door running out but she knows he probably has the doors locked so she can’t leave. They go to have breakfast, they talk and he tells her about buying her a house. She thinks he’s going to stick her in the house and won’t have anything to do with her and that upsets her even more.
After breakfast they sit in his office just like they always do they don’t talk to each other for a long while when she decides that she’s not going to let him just throw her away, she gets up asking him if there’s marks on certain areas of her body during this time they start talking about things and by the end she’s on her knees about to give him oral sex when he leaves for a moment to get her some pillows so that her knees won’t hurt her. She gives him oral sex afterwards they talk more. He takes everything off of his desk with one movement of his arm. He bends her over the desk as they have sex but before he has his release he puts her on the desk so they can see one another as he chases his release. They both tell each other that they love one another, that she’s his and that they will get married.
A knock on the door and the voice of his second in command gets them to rush getting their clothes on. The second in command informs the mafia boss about his son being kidnapped. Getting his phone he pushes some buttons and then he asks her a couple of questions about where she works and her friends at work before pushing more buttons on the phone. The Bratva are the ones who kidnapped his son. He makes a call. She informs him that she’s going with him to get his son, he refuses at first but decides to let her go and over the next couple of hours before the meeting he teaches her how to use a gun.
They get to the meeting spot and everyone gets searched except for her because he won’t let anyone touch her. The Bratva boss tells him what he wants before he will let the mafia boss’s son go. He won’t settle for half. By the time everything is done the Bratva boss is dead as well as one of his guys. The new Bratva boss and the mafia boss make a deal and they think about making a syndicate so things like this won’t happen again. The one who tipped the mafia boss off about his woman kidnapping was the dead Bratva boss’s son. The mafia boss’s son finds out about his father being with his ex-girlfriend while they go to the mafia boss’s house. The son goes off on the mafia boss then goes off on his ex girlfriend but his father won’t let him talk to his future step mother like that. They decide that neither of them will talk about their relationships or at least the sexual component of them.
Ten years later and the couple has three children together. He’s still the mafia boss and she’s a University professor. Saturday the whole family has lunch together even the mafia boss’s son and his husband comes to the lunch. At this time his youngest son needs help with his studies. The housekeep tends to dinner and he has his youngest son set the table as he goes to tell the others when he gets to their youngest daughter and his wife, the wife is asleep in a chair he lets her stay to rest and takes their daughter. He tells his wife he will let her rest but they need to talk later. His wife was always tired at the beginning of her pregnancies but he won’t find out anything until later.
Wonderfully written with outstanding characters the story was easy to read. A perfect steamy romance with action thrown in, an amazing happily ever after ending.

This was light on the mafia lifestyle and heavy on obsession, attraction and spice.

In a desperate moment, Anwyn finds herself at the doorstep of her ex's father's home, hoping to crash for the night. Seeing Mr. Cross again hits Anwyn with a new and unexpected attraction.

Luckily her attraction is not one sided. Mr. Cross aka Ben also finds himself completely drawn to Anwyn but he knows that she's too young and there is no way it would be acceptable to claim his son's ex girlfriend, right?

This was a cute and fast read that takes it's time to develop a genuine friendship between the MCs before they both give in to their mutual attraction. It was fun to see them both go from impossible unrequited love to claiming each other and damn the opinion of others. The cute epilogue 10 years later is also a plus!

Cheating : None. Anwyn dated Tom, Ben's son for one college term/semester, two years ago and they never even kissed. Tom later comes out as gay. And although he feels skirmish about his ex and his dad being together, he doesn't cause any drama about it.

OM/OW drama : None.

Separation : Although they met two years ago, when she was dating his son, they didn't form any attraction or feelings for each other until they meet again and Anwyn throws herself on his mercy. Once reunited, they are inseparable.

Possible Triggers: The reason for Anwyn seeking out Ben is a little hard to believe so suspending belief will be required here. There is also some violence on page, towards the end of the story.

Age-gap, ex-boyfriends’ Dad, mafia boss, young sweet virgin - all tropes I love to read and all feature in this quick, passionate and steamy read.

When Anwyn’s housemates decide to throw another houseparty she’s had enough and decides to go seek refuge elsewhere. She turns up on the doorstep of Ben, her ex-boyfriends father and local mafia boss explains the situation and asks to stay the night. Over the next six months this becomes a weekly occurrence and they build a strong friendship but what neither of them knows is they both have feelings for the other, which only comes to light when Ben finds out that a hit has been put out on Anwyn so he swoops in to save her.

Whether it’s from the realisation of how dangerous the situation was and the reality that Ben could have lost Anwyn they embark on one night of passion. This initial scene was spectacularly written, the chemistry and sexual tension was palpable. You could sense how much they both wanted to lose themselves within each other but also how much they held back especially Ben as he didn’t want to hurt his son. It was written in dual POV and I really enjoyed reading Anwyn’s POV especially because whilst she was outwardly saying she was ok with it being one night or just sex we got to read and feel her emotions and knew that to her it was much more.

When they act on their feelings it’s fast and passionate, with a good amount of praise and degradation. Their relationship really ramps up. There were some hidden twists outside of the duo that involved the whole Mafia aspect as well as Ben’s son Tom which I really enjoyed and added an extra dimension to the story.

Gosh, this story both broke my heart & kept me in the edge of my seat the entire time. If you need a low drama story, this probably isn’t a good fit for you but others books in the series definitely have less angst!

I really loved the MMC & the FMC together. On paper, they don’t make sense. He’s the brutal mob boss and she’s the young college student who dated his son for a time. However, he’s incredibly sweet to her (in a subtle way) and she’s got a big heart and loves spending time with him.

His rules for them FINALLY being together killed me, I kind of wanted to cry on the FMC’s behalf. I get why he was being kind of a jerk to her, but it still caused her a great deal of pain.

Had a very dramatic finale, but the end of the story ended up being super sweet 🥰

Will Benedict be forced to choose between Anwyn and Tom? Will he have sacrifice one of the other? Evie Rose delivers another HEA, along with a little suspense and some killing. It wouldn't be a mafia/mob romance without it.

Anwyn is 20 she finds herself alone in London with no place to stay and in need of a night's sleep so she is on top form for an exam and doesn't lose her scholarship. Her only option is to go to her ex's house and ask his dad (and the biggest mob boss in London) for shelter.

Benedict is in his 40s a mob boss, hiding behind legal dealings. He doesn't realise how empty his life is until Anwyn turns up at his door. He wants to protect her, consume her and love her. But he settles for keeping her safe. All is fine, until it's not and the heat between the two can't be contained.

This is a quick and fun age gap read. It's dirty and a little taboo with a hint of mob dealings.

I love these short steamy novellas. Ben & Anwyn have known each other for a while but their relationship shifts when he provides a refuge for her when her housemates party. They gradually become closer but then things change when a rival gang threaten all Ben hold dear. I loved both Ben & Wyn the chemistry between them is electric & I loved how they got to know each other before things escalated. A delicious novella which I devoured in a sitting

Benedict intrigued me from the beginning... But then powerful self assured men captivate me.

Anwyn's obsession with him is completely understandable. But both of them being hesitant because she dated his son confused me. Sure, if his son was still enamoured of Anwyn, it would have made sense. His hesitancy because he was older actually made more sense. Honorable, in its own way.

But most men would have ignored those ethics and simply taken what they wanted. That Benedict didn't just watched his honor higher.

But when he loses that steely control, I wanted to jump for joy. And everything happy in both of their lives simply flowed from there... Acceptance. I enjoyed this read, and will soak in it again.

Benedict Crosse is the powerful mob boss of Westminster. He is OTT dominant, older, protective and Anwyn’s ex boyfriend’s father.
He is totally off limits but that doesn’t stop Anwyn from dreaming of a future with him.
Anwyn is a college student, she lives in a flat with several other girls and works at a coffee shop. She has no family and when the parties at her flat get to be too much she turns to the mob boss.
Benedict is falling in love with Anwyn but she is far too young and innocent for him…..not to mention his son’s ex girlfriend.
When she is threatened he knows he will do anything to protect her.
If you love fast action, hanging on the edge of your seat, off limit age gap romance this one is for you.

I’m so glad I came upon this book. I was ecstatic to have an ex-boyfriend’s father story with a virgin heroine! I don’t see those often in the romance genre. Benedict was really protective of Anwyn, even though he was so stand-offish at times. I liked that Anwyn didn’t give up so easily when it came to wanting Benedict. The age gap was great, and I loved the breeding kink. The story did slow down and drag a bit at times, but it would come back quickly enough not to lose my interest. Happy to have a taboo story of its kind.

I'm so glad I fell upon this author... I cannot believe it didn't know about her until now! She writes one of my favorite romance genres... mafia and she smashed this book. If any of her others books are like this one I will happily read those too. I loved this story and I couldn't help but love both main characters too. I loved the tension and drama, it just added to the mafia vibes and I loved their every interaction. I loved the almost will they won't they vibes too. Even though you knew they were meant to be with each other you couldn't help but enjoy the back and forth getting there. I cannot wait to read more from this author... she is now firmly in my to read pile!!.

Anwyn used to date Benedict’s son although they never did anything except kiss. Anwyn is alone in London and doesn’t really get along with her roommates. They throw loud parties with lots of alcohol. One night they were a party and Anwyn really needed to rest for her exam the next day so she asked Benedict if she could stay over and he said yes. Suddenly they now have this pattern where she stays with him every weekend. Benedict is extremely attracted to her but knows that she is much too young and naive for him. What happens when some of his rivals attempt to kidnap her because they think she is special to him? Will he finally admit how he feels and pursue a relationship with Anwyn.

This was such a sweet mafia story - and yes, I can see the irony in that. The main characters were just so cute together even though they both kept on trying to stay away for the first half of the story and then in the second, they went completely nuts. I loved the smutty scenes, the description, the dialogues, everything. I had a feeling about Tom too, and I was proven right during the climax of the book. This was so short that I was torn between liking its length or complaining about wanting more.

I loved this book. It was a fun, sweet read with some danger and suspense. Anwyn and Benedict have such great chemistry- both pining for each other for months before a threat brings them together and Anwyn finally gets him to succumb. It's a relatively short story, but felt complete. I wish there was a story for Tom, how he met his special someone, and how the whole event that happened happen from their point of view. This is the first book I've read by this author and I'll definitely be reading more! 5 stars.

Anwyn needs a place to crash so she can be rested to write her test at college, but her roommates have a party. So she goes to her ex-boyfriends dad, the head of the mafia in London. Ben sees his son ex and is instantly smitten with her. He knows he has to stay away and that works for the next six months. Until Anwyn is in danger and now they finally can't stay away from each other. Age Gap, taboo, ex-boyfriends dad, romantic , steamy and safe (she was never intimate with the son😉) with an awesome HEA 😍😍😍😍 I really loved the side characters and I hope we will get their stories too🥰🥰
