The beginning and the end of this was good, but I didn't care much for the middle. I wanted more of the getting to know each other and falling in love parts, but what I got was the mated have to be together even though we hate each other parts.

Stared with an intriguing premise, but I didn't feel like Drarry happened in an organic way at all. Ending felt rushed and I had lost interest by the time it forced its way to a conclusion.

This is the first pre-DH-written post-war fic I've read. What was most interesting was how similar it felt to the more recent post-war fics. It felt a lot like many of the "eighth-year" fics I've read, but obviously with several differences.
People are alive in this fic who died in HBP or DH; the final battle went somewhat differently (although surprisingly not THAT differently...); and the aftermath of the battle is different.
Additionally, this is the first fic I've come across where both Harry and Draco are part-creature. I was fascinated with how their non-human sides interacted and the ways in which those interactions were dealt with.
Fun, fascinating fic.
