I'm becoming a total fangirl of Lomonaaeren's fics. This one was no exception.

Lucius Malfoy was cursed, and his family can't fix him so they bring him to St. Mungo's. Harry's a Mediwizard there (he can't progress to full healer because he's failed his potions NEWT twice) and is assigned Lucius's case.

When Harry performs the Heart's Blessing spell to save Lucius's life by sharing Harry's lifeforce with him, the Malfoys basically decide that Harry's part of their family now.

When it becomes clear that Lucius isn't safe in the hospital, they decide to take him home to the manor, and convince Harry to come along as their private Healer.

Harry then has to figure out how to remove the curses on Lucius, figure out who put them there, and learn how to live with the (unnervingly grateful and gracious) Malfoys--all of which was delightfully great fun to read. Fascinating magic usage, fun mystery, and lovely romance.

Favorite Quotes:
Sometimes he woke and wondered if he was really living his own life, or one he had rented by mistake.

There was something cosmically unfair about the existence of a person who managed to turn a reference to the Dark Mark into flirtation.

Narcissa Malfoy had just made a pun. He tried to ignore the sense that the world was collapsing and spoke to Lucius.

a family, where guilt was not unforgivable and mistakes didn't mean the end of a relationship.

This fanfic gave me mixed feelings. Lomonaaeren writes really good and it was pleasant to read and the storyline took me quite by surprise as I never though or read about .
The only thing that left me completely cold were the characters, especially Harry and Draco. At the beginning of their interaction their was a spark of their school behaviour towards each other, but only that. The spark crushed and vanished along with their old enmities and all but forgotten as if they never existed ad were replaced with a sudden interest in Harry and his body on Draco's side. The initial interest becomes more in a matter of -how long was it again, a day? two?- days. Paired with Draco worrying about his fathers health as he is in the hospital were Harry works and the sole reason the meet at all. Most of all it was Draco's change to a completely pleasant person and I missed his nasty side that would sneer at Harry and his haughty attitude...
So, overall the story was great, but the characters just didn't do it for me, but go read it, if you want to see Mediwizard Potter in action.

Characters were really OOC, and the story line felt a bit too much
